There is no easy answer when it comes to changing one's mental outlook.

The affiliate must choose to look at this business as a business and not a hobby.

The affiliate must choose to commit time, money, and more time to their business.

The affiliate alone can choose to take ownership in their results. To be the person where the buck stops here. They must accept their failures as stepping stones to their success and know that it is them and not anyone else that is responsible for growing their business.

SFI can not guarantee your success.

Your Sponsor can not guarantee your success.

Your surroundings, culture, friend, church, financial status and education do not determine your success because no matter how bad your life is someone in worse shape than you has made it.

There are people with no limbs who go on to do great things like Stephen Hawking, who talks through a computer and get's around through power of machines due to total paralysis. If he can be a success in life I guarantee you can.

You must learn about SFI. Know your business.

You must take ownership in the results of your labor and strive for more.

You must train your mind to desire success as much as you need to breath.

It makes no difference.

You can save some T-credits by timing your bids and studying the auctions but there is also argument for having your budget in place and your bid automated as well.

One reason I use auto-bidder is depending on the weather we might lose power in an auction before I would have withdrawn. Another reason is my kids and cats love to put feet on the buttons and switches that turn my PC off right in the middle of me bidding.

If I have auto-bid on the site will continue to bid as if I were there until my t-credits or budget have been used up. I can win an auction even if life takes me offline by practicing the same tactics I would if I were there. Bid early, be aggressive, make it clear you intend to win, and never wait until the last second.

Everyone keeps answering based on the comfort zone, but not on the end of learning to conduct an international business so please read what I have to say on this as someone who has done business online and globally for over a decade.

In many ways having separate language forums hurts your PSA who speaks little English.

Experts agree that to learn a language to the point of being conversational in it you need to submerge yourself in the language. You need to use it daily and naturally until it becomes as familiar as your own. When you break off into a native language forum and only frequent sites in your own tongue the progress learning English is slowed or stopped.

Once that happens your global business becomes a local or regional business where only people who speak your native language can join your team. That's real bad for people in small countries with a very low population.

Access to Forum Guru's.

A committee of people has been selected to vote for the most helpful and well informed people posting to the forums to help new members know who to trust in a case where two members are giving them a completely different answer to the same problem. These Experts have spent years learning online marketing and specifically the SFI Program and their advice can save your team thousands of dollars and thousands of hours of misspent labor, but since they tend to hang out more in the main forum and aren't necessarily versed in more than one language your Country or Region may not have a Forum Guru available that speaks in your native tongue.

There are cases it helps though, so I am not opposed to having this change in any way.

It helps when people have no English Language skills and can find someone more knowledgeable in English to study their training materials with. Google Translate tries but can not translate all words and expressions. It also can help by allowing common tips and information to be written in a native language for future reference but I am afraid if the same trend of the forum being 90% questions and 10% training post continues in these forums as well those truly life changing post might be lost on the masses with only a few knowing their locations or existence.

The ultimate goal though is for us all to become better at communicating outside our comfort zone.

I myself am trying to learn more Spanish as time permits and once I do that I am thinking of learning one of the Russian languages, Italian, Chinese, or Japanese. I can use Spanish pretty readily here in Arizona so it should be easiest to learn with our largely Mexican population. Being bi-lingual here would explode my local recruiting efforts.

Being bi-lingual at a minimum opens my business to many more markets and makes it easier to recruit global ECA and Personally Referred Members. My eye is on getting as many of the 2 billion online shoppers world wide tto join TripleClicks as possible because finding PSA is so much easier when people know you make a lot of money doing it.

Printed flyers are a great way to make your errands become business boosting trips.

If you do laundry at a laundry mat or dry cleaners they usually have a bulletin board you can post a flyer on.

When you are grocery shopping look for a board there too.

If you ride the bus or subway the booths and stations often have places you can post a flyer.

You can hand them to people at the park, or hang one on the board at the local diner.

You can go to the commons areas of most college campuses and pass out flyers there as well as hang them at off campus locations like Bowling Alleys and local bars where boards are often available.

At the mall you can place flyers under the wipers of nearby cars.

For a few bucks you can have them added to the local newspaper as circulars. This is a very cost effective way of getting your ads seen.

There are hundreds of uses out there, and just about every place you see a flyer is a good place to put yours. Just ask permission if space is limited and make sure you are not violating any local laws.

I approach it like this.

In the ages of 21-35 there is a tremendous opportunity to recruit for SFI.

At 21 to 24 the prospect is either in college or having a tough time making a go of things on a high school or less education. Adding extra income in a matter of a an hour or two a day will allow them freedom to hang out with friends, date, go to a night club, or buy a car, pay for insurance etc.. without having to sacrifice 4-8 additional hours a day at a JOB.

For the college student, text books, and housing, lunches, and other expenses are sometimes not covered by scholarships and grants and if they are paying off a car or want any kind of quality of life outside of studies they will need something they can do for a steady income without cutting into study time.

From 24-28 you are probably just out of college or have just gone through a trade school and need to pad your resume to get past entry level in your chosen career. For marketing and business studies an Home Business that allows you to practice sales and management skills can augment other work experiences like starting in the mail room or working as a Currier, or other similar entry level task provides. This is also the time student loans come due and you have the full weight of rent and utilities on you and need that extra cash.

Between 28 and 35 you are most likely settling down and starting a family. There are wedding expenses, honeymoons, the birth of a child, 2 cars, maybe even a mortgage on a home, and holidays that all demand dollars your still early career may not be producing.

At all these stages the, "Grow a Second Income" banners and ad headlines like, "Make Extra Money in Your Spare Time" are very attractive. They work well because the career minded youth will still be bent on carving a place for themselves in the trade they have been aspiring for years to join and they will hold a very high value on free time.

They will want their play along with work and they will want quality time with family, friends, and members of the opposite sex. But they will need money to do any of it and that money is preferably not in the form of working 2 to 3 jobs.

The key triggers are;

1. Gain Experience.
2. Gain Freedom.
3. Make Extra Money.
4. Low time commitment.
5. Low start up or investment cost.
6. No degree required.
7. Security for you.
8. Security for your family.
9. Opportunity to get out of debt.
10. Learn New Skills without more school or added bills.

All of these are great selling points and once these young people get started expect rapid growth because they tend to have massive, engaged social followings, and influence over the actions of their friends. Show them a good thing and help them get results and they will be viral magnets for others in this age group.

Starting early they will not have as many bad habits or be as adapted to the employee mentality and your influence could drastically change their lives for the good by keeping them from becoming a 9-5 zombie just existing in a world they can't afford.

How you start your business will train your customers. If you only sell locally only locals will connect with you and promote your store. Others will learn that you only sell locally and never be back to see you are now selling globally.

Learn shipping before you start.

Don't make the costly mistake of boxing yourself in to a bad situation that cost you time, money, and reputation. The information is available from all companies that provide shipping to know what it will actually cost to send goods around the world.

Don't be afraid to be too busy, you can slow down sales that come too fast by modifying price or limiting quantity. In most cases you will have the opposite problem and need to learn to not make as much off each sale in order to sell more and earn more money.

This all takes time and practice and is why SFI encourages recruitment of experienced online retailers over trying to become one from scratch with no knowledge of how to begin.
