If you must welcome new affiliates using the phone, the first thing to do is to introduce yourself simply and quickly, ie.

“Hi, how are you? This is your Sponsor in SFI, Luckie Vickie!
Just want to welcome you personally to my Team, and see if you need help in getting started?”

Depending on the response, you can then assuage any feeling of hesitance or unreadiness to start by promising to send an email.

One of the old methods of working an affiliate program like SFI was to incorporate the use of telephone marketing. This is done by running ads that have prospects calling your business phone if they want more information.

I used this system by running ads in local and national newspapers for people to call a toll free 2 minute recorded message and the message would direct them to leave their phone number and the best time to reach them. This system does draw the contacts and

Just after the Sign Up, the affiliate's mind set will be on making money rather considering it as Business. So they will be anxious in asking lots of questions regarding SFI.

However a thanks welcome should be at first, because they have accepted your invitation. With little tip of working with SFI.

Like everyone else, I am turned off by canned speeches or sales pitches. My input is "keep it simple for them and for you." Don't try to explain the whole business over the phone. Most people's ears don't last that long!

I might say something like, "Hey Jackie, I have a business you might be interested in. Can I send you some information about it?"

I do not know if the following will assist but here it goes...

When I answer the phone and the telemarketer on the other end starts reading robotically from his/her script, the urge to say 'no thanks' and hang up the phone is almost irresistible. Few things will turn me off faster than hearing a salesperson recite from a phone script. But that doesn't mean that using a script cant not be an effective tool for you to use to promote SFI to others by way of the phone.
