I, like many new affiliates when they first join SFI and TripleClicks, went straight to gaining as much VP (VersaPoints) as possible. Because of the way I was going about it a couple of times I fell back to being a AFF (beginning affiliates).

Needless to say I became discouraged and rant and raved at my sponsor and at SFI Admin. It is to my blessing that SFI understands some of the problems new affiliates go through because they did not terminate my membership.

I wallowed around for about 6 months going from AFF to EA and then back to AFF again I was at the point where I figured that SFI was a waste of time and effort.

The good thing that happened is that I decided to read the messages and post in the forum and the stream and some of the ASK SC questions and answers. I decided to really give SFI a try and some time to see if I find a future here.

Once I got my mind off of collecting VP and obtained a mindset of building a business from scratch, I realized that a good income could be generated with this program only it will take some time to get it going.

My main focus has changed from acquiring VP and rank to building a team and to selling products from TripleClicks.

I learned the VP will come automatically if you are building a strong business foundation and the rank will also automatically increase as you focus your attention on retaining your teammates and assist them in their efforts to build.

My focus now – Sell products – and build a network of “teammates” that are helping others to do the same thing (known as duplication).

Yes, my focus has certainly changed since joining SFI in late 2011.

My focus then was to understand how SFI works, how to navigate the site to find where things are. It was hard going without support from upline and sponsor to help me find my way around.

In addition, my other focus was to learn the new words, new acronyms, what they stand for and how to use them effectively. Discovering the Glossary and Knowledge Base, FAQs etc. helped a lot in understanding new things.

The other focus also was learning how to go into the Forum, as one needs to register then and it was a bit confusing, then how to post properly and how to become a good Forum Citizen.

The time it took to qualify as EA after six months, then BTL after 3 months, is worth it. I hit the learning curve and stayed long in it.

The moment I became BTL my focus then started to change. Now I have a team of 3 PSAs and new 2nd-Home CSAs . Now I’m a Team Leader and it had a major effect on how I conducted my business and view myself.

My new focus at this stage was how to become an effective team leader. It was another challenge as I was still learning myself, but now realizing that I have a new responsibility it has shifted my focus from my own inadequacy and limitations to improving myself by reading self-help books and articles purchased from TC and ECAs and learning more about SFI/TC from more experienced and successful affiliates.

As I progressed from BTL to my current rank, my focus has shifted on to bigger and challenging things. The new changes to leadership qualifications have given me a new focus to work on.

I will not change the way I work because of the SFI Success Habits that have been developed during the past 3 years and have become a second nature and these good habits have helped me to get to where I am and what I have become (in my own eyes).

The only thing I will do differently now is to focus on the coming New Year with renewed optimism, major on major things, put more effort at helping my team grow, help them get what they want so I can get what I want in SFI.

When I started my SFI business, I have no idea what to expect as an entrepreneur. Let alone the right attitude required to succeed in this kind of business. Things were not working out as planned.

I logged in everyday, performed my To-Do List, maintained EA status, sponsor new affiliates every month, etc., but I wasn’t making money according to my expectation. In fact I was spending more than what I make. When I needed help my upline is unresponsive. I became very much disappointed. I have developed a negative attitude about my SFI business.

To reverse this trend, I went back to SFI BASICS, LAUNCHPAD and SFI Rules of Success. By doing this, my mind was refreshed and I was able to get a clear evaluation of what I’ve been focussing. I’ve been focussing on making a profit as fast as I could – an instant gratification - without considering the short-term and long-term perspective of my SFI business.

Since I started my SFI business, my focus changed from having the negative attitude – one of the biggest roadblock to success - to the right attitude by making the following adjustments:

- Patience

You can’t expect to get rich overnight with your SFI business. If you go into with this kind of attitude you’ll probably be disappointed and your attitude will turn negative. As an entrepreneur with your SFI business, you have to apply the proven track of success – SFI Rules of Success. This will require hard work and dedication, but it’s the only smart way to go.

- Focus

You’ll probably not have much success if you don’t focus on both of your short-term and long-term goals of your SFI business. You need to focus on what you do everyday with your SFI business and have goals that you’re always working towards.

- Set your mind to continuous improvement

Never stop educating yourself. If you want to see significant growth from your network marketing efforts, you must constantly improve your knowledge. You need to read success books, research the Internet for social media strategies along with network marketing tips. You must also look for any other topics to position yourself to be successful.

- Being generous

Be generous with your time and knowledge by training and supporting your downline, keeping in touch with them and answering their questions. Your generosity will come back to you, if you go above and beyond what is expected from you.

- Being self-confidence

People can sense when you’re lacking self-confidence. Most people are reluctant to back up what you’re pitching, if you’re nervous, fumbling and overly apologetic. Self-confidence can be learned and build on. The right amount of confidence is founded in reality and on your true ability. With the right amount of self-confidence, you will take informed risks, stretch yourself (but not beyond your abilities) and try hard. Furthermore, you’ll be able to speak clearly, answer questions assuredly and lead your team effectively.

What I do differently now?

SFI is a real company with real products through TripleClicks.com. I have been heavily active in recruiting new affiliates and training my downline emphasizing on recruiting and building their own network. The hidden truth is that I was focussing 95% of my time in recruiting and reserving just 5% into selling TripleClicks products.

There is more than adequate money to be made if you promote TripleClicks products/services consistently. I have now made selling TripleClicks products/services equally important as recruiting and teach my downline so. A balance approach to both ways will bring a big change on my SFI business and help my downline to get them started right.

Good day Marija,

I will answer based on my experience and do hope it would be of benefit.

Initially, when I started with SFI far back as 2013, I thought it was a get rich scheme just doing my daily , weekly and monthly tasks. I remember when within the first month, I made EA reading through my Launchpad Lessons quickly and other action points just for the sake of the versa points awarded.

After the second month as I assumed that it would be easier month after month, it dawned on me that for me to grow in my SFI business, I needed to go the extra mile to achieve success. I believe it would have been easier if only I had the support initially from my upline.

During that period, I had to strategize and think of the way forward which led to me having a monthly standing order that automatically made me an EA monthly. What has made my focus change and what I am doing differently now to be successful are:-

1. I was made to understand that for one to succeed, one must read and have a vast knowledge of SFI business to be able to disseminate information to my downline.

2. That with my Leadership skills and role, train 5 active affilates to duplicate my actions for them to be successful.

3. In order to succeed, i had to invest in S builder co, PSA to go to try build a team of active affiliates where I can get a passive income.

4. Use other marketing aids like banners that would be placed on my personal blogs to drive traffic and sign ups to SFI.

5. By word of mouth, tell family, friends and relatives about SFI.

6. Log on and religiously to do my Daily, Weekly and Monthly Tasks.

7. Made to understand the 6 different ways of earning in SFI.

8. Have a Monthly Standing order.

9. Read SFI new letters, read the forum and answer SFI questions.

10. Recruit ECAS to have a Lifetime Loyalty on purchases made.

11. Participate in Price Bender Auctions and Eager Zebra Games.

These are the steps I have followed which I am currently using to be successful in SFI.

Each individual will have their own focus and will advance in this program at their own personal pace. As Affiliates and Team Leaders, we need to be there for all members no matter if they are downline or not. I do not believe there is any right or wrong focus when first starting as long as an Affiliate continues to grow and adjust to changes in their journey to build this business.

When I first started with SFI, my focus was on learning more about the program and concentrating on myself and the things that I needed to do. My attention was on completing the daily, weekly, monthly action items. For me, I knew I wanted to be knowledgeable in a majority of the program aspects so that when I became a Team Leader I would be able to help my downline and others. I participated in all of the different areas to better understand what each entailed.

When I became more comfortable with the program information, I started building my Team. The focus at that point was now assisting others with issues and/or questions they might have. Since I had already formed the habit of doing things I needed to do on a daily/weekly bases, I did not have to focus as much time in these areas.

With the recent changes in SFI, which I personally think are in the right direction, my focus has changed slightly. I am still doing the same things as before but now I focus more effort on letting new PSAs and CSAs know about the signing bonuses. I think this is an important thing for them to understand as far as them becoming Silver and Gold Fast Start members to have the opportunity to receive the bonuses. I believe the bonuses will play a big part on whether new members continue and grow this business.

The final thing I do differently now is I have opened my own ECA store and spend time approaching other businesses to establish their own store online with TripleClicks.

To me, the one key thing you mention in your question is the word “focus”. Every affiliate needs to focus on achieving their goals with SFI. And as long as they maintain that focus, their goals can be met.

In the beginning it was easy to see that SFI is easy to work and gain VersaPoints and I focused on doing that and I made the fast track and became Silver Team Leader very quickly. But I also realized that instead of earning money I was spending it. And the whole reason we are here is to earn money.

I realized later the importance of team building and rather than buying my way to the top, it's best to build a team and teach them what I have learned. We may not always get people that have the same understanding or vision we do. So we need to keep sponsoring people continually, and I mean a LOT of them.

So now, instead of focusing on working hard and getting all I can get by what I do, I am focusing more on still working hard, but working smarter and directing my efforts into team building. That's what this business is all about, building a team and becoming a team leader through that initiative. When you become a team leader through building a team, you will become a true Team Leader in every sense of the word.

This question is related to affiliates who have good experience with SFI and from months

1. When I signed up with SFI, I was confused and I quited right away. Because it didn't had patience. Now I learned PATIENCE which is MOST BASIC need for SFI.

3. Though I am student and have lot of time to spend on social networks I hadn't wanted to spend time on SFI, before. And later I took it as challenge and use promoting only SFI because it is benefit than Social Networks and earns money.

4. When I joined, I didn't wanted to learn anything and just wanted to advertise and get money. Their I failed. Again realised to spend TIME with SFI. Now I can say, if we spend time on SFI, Inturn SFI will return us huge money.

5. Before, SFI was just job for me, and now it is Real Business. Which is awesome in its kind. And serving people in unique style. It must be promoted, I say now.

6. Priorly, I was advertising only on other websites, but now I have own website to advertise SFI business. I regularly send updates through RSS feed. And I use email marketing.

7. I was hesitating to promote SFI offline, but now I can say loudly "I'm an SFI AFFILIATE".

When I first found SFI in 2011 I was a total novice and the members in my upline back then were not very helpful. The one thing I was sure about is that SFI is a legitimate online income opportunity. My lack of knowledge led to extensive research and experimentation which eventually led to me becoming inactive in SFI for a few years.

Now that I'm back at SFI and with a better understanding of internet/ affiliate marketing, my focus is now on generating sales and effectively supporting my team. As we all know, the more sales we generate, the higher our monthly commission will be.

I have changed my entire approach to my recruiting and sales generating system. For example, every social media post I made back then would be about SFI or Tripleclicks. I don't do that anymore. Now I occasionally post about my blog site because my Facebook page's call to action button is already asking my visitors to check out my website so I post interesting ideas, funny videos etc. that my visitors will gladly share with their audience hence strategically summoning visitors to check out my website.

I have to say a lot has changed for me personally since I started the first time with SFI.
In the beginning if you have not grasped the concept of SFI as a whole you go through the daily and monthly tasks getting VP and trying to up your ranking. As you read and learn more throughout your venture you become more knowledgeable with how things work and what will actually work for you and your business, they certainly were not joking when they said read as much as possible and learn as much as possible because I can say without a doubt it has helped me a lot and I am now comfortable enough in promoting and selling online where before I had no idea where to start.

My main focus now is advertising and recruiting, advertising TripleClicks products will bring in more of a sustainable income than lets say putting a 100% of your focus on only advertising to recruit members. Divide the two into an effort that will benefit you as well as your long term business, there are many ways to ensure that you have a long term benefit with your growing business and at the same time you can teach others to do the same once you are comfortable enough in knowing where to set your efforts.

May you have a successful growing business and know that you learn something new everyday no matter how young or old.

I understand the importance of having an active team which will enable me to earn a better income in SFI. I realize now that I need to advertise a lot to be able to find those few and far between affiliates who will not only support my business but they will make it on their own.

I would not say that my focus has changed from what it was when I first joined because I was aware then that I needed to sponsor affiliates. Now I am more aware of their importance.

Secondly, I have changed personally to believe that I can handle a team and motivate them equally. I enjoyed working independently and have always preferred that mode to a group environment but now I can comfortably focus on my team. It is always about my team first before me.

Thirdly, I often wondered whether I would be able to create online sales through TripleClicks. Online shopping is still seen as somewhat a mystery and/or an unreliable form of shopping in some parts of the world. This notion has since changed and I know that we are responsible for what we wish to achieve. How you do it will depend on each individual - after my first online sale, I now focus equally on TripleClicks because that is a high earner for whoever wants to make money online.

Finally, as we learn to appreciate the ups and downs of a business such as ours, we are reminded constantly - nothing worthwhile comes easy. I have thought of giving up at one point when I felt that things were not going according to how I expected them to but when you know that there is so much support from your upline team members and the Founder of the company, Gery Carson, why not persevere.

I try to penetrate into areas of marketing that others shy away from! That, in a nutshell is what I do differently now.
