This shows you all the ways SFI has made it easy for you to communicate with your downline. I don´t need to repeat anything from there, I can´t explain it any better than SFI already does.

Further to this, it is important to focus on relationship-building, which can be enhanced by using social media, e.g. a Facebook page, your own blog including easy-to-follow training videos you can make and publish on your Youtube channel.

Overall, make yourself accessible to your downline.

Ensure they have your personal email address, and be sure to be responsive to them when they contact you.

If they communicate in a different language, find easy free tools online to help you, such as Google Translate. Let them know, in their own language if necessary, there is a Translate button at the bottom of every page of SFI and TripleClicks.

Before I answer your question, I would like to say that it is not so much as what you say but how you say it that will have an impact in your communications with your team members. Keep that in mind.

You need to understand that your emails or chat discussions or whatever you choose as a means of communication must have a positive feedback; that is to get your team members to progress in the right direction and become active if they are not.

SKYPE/VIBER
There are various time zones you will be working with therefore you cannot generalize and use a similar method for all. Take into consideration that some of your team members will have difficulty understanding your language if it is other than English. If language and time zones is not a barrier then I would suggest that you pick up a conversation on skype or viber or call if the team member is in your region. It would be the easiest to handle queries in this manner. You save on time and there is no room for misunderstandings or doubts.

SFI CHAT
The other method is through the SFI Chat. I find this very useful especially if my team members are in a different time zone; they see the message when it is convenient for them and in case of anything, they can reply when they have a moment. There is no pressure to deal with issues instantly.

WHATSAPP
I also have an SFI group on WhatsApp which brings in a very informal way of picking up on topics of mutual interest. When I have anything interesting or motivating to share, I ensure that everyone in the group gets it immediately. Most often members also share their experiences, achievements and inspire others to move in the right direction.

E-CARDS
This is equally appropriate for various milestones that your team members reach. It is more visual and holds more weight. I like to receive these cards and rightly assume that they are equally effective to create a better rapport with your team mates.

You have other options to rely on such as email or convey a message through the Forum if you are recognizing the efforts of your team members-the aim is all the same. To motivate, inspire and encourage!

Send out a weekly newsletter with a brief tip. Let your members know you care. It has been said they don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Use your newsletter to acknowledge and praise key team members, give tips and advice etc.



A newsgroup is a great way to promote teamwork. It enables your team members to help each other. A Newsgroup sets your team apart and makes it seem special.

Use your weekly newsletter to promote your newsgroup and encourage your team members to take advantage of the newsgroup. Have a section of your newsletter devoted to your newsgroup.

You can set up a free Newsgroup at Yahoo, Google and MSN

A Forum is similar to a newsgroup. A Forum has more features then a newsgroup and can be used in addition to or instead of a News Group.

A Blog can be used to compliment your newsletter. Your blog is an additional way to keep in contact with your Team and show them you care. Make it a point to have a Quick Tips or Tools you can post once or twice a week in your blog. The Blog is also a great place to post timely updates. You should also post your weekly newsletter in your blog as an easy way for your team members to see previous newsletters. Encourage your team members to start their own blogs and even offer to link to team member blogs

A contest is a Great way to motivate your downline. Offer something of value, free Leads, An E-Book, Ad Co-Op Shares or even paying their membership fee for a month or more.

SFI has indeed afforded us the opportunity of interacting with fellow affiliates in our downline by making available sophisticated tools for this purpose.

Chart Service:You can communicate with any member of you team anytime when he/she is online
or leave a message if not online.

eCards: Send your team members an eCard to encourage,congratulate,thank or just to ask how
they are doing.

Genealogy: This is the tool were one can instantly send a broadcast to all your team members
with a click of a button once every week.

Forums,Leadership Page & Stream Post tab:Engage and encourage your team to visit the forum
daily to interact with the SFI family.There is a number of knowledgeable individuals in the forum.
Write educative messages in your leadership as well as your stream post pages for you team.

In addition to the above, we have telephones,Skype,emails.However,when it comes to telephone calls, one should thread with caution.It will be practically impossible to call say 2000, people every month as the cost will be astronomically high.My advice will be to work with workers.Here you can find your movers and periodically call them to give advice or encouragement or just a friendly chat.

Another important tool outside SFI's arsenal is Facebook.You can create a Facebook page for your team where you can interact and share all the challenges and successes with them.

My answer to this question is based on my own personal experience, I get 50 or more sign-ups every month because of my Standing Order. I enjoy online chat by this I mean live chat not email, the best form of communication is phone call by using Skype or What's app because it is free when you phone call other members.

Skype and Facebook messenger allows voice and video chat so this is my favorite form of communication because I get to see a real person on the other end and they also see who they are working with.

Most people that I have emailed or live chat always ask me to call them because they want to talk not type especially when using a cellphone it takes more time to type.

The first form of communication when you receive sign-ups is to use the PSA mailer or genealogy to send them a welcome email because you can send the same message to a group of several affiliates at once and it increases the likelihood of receiving your messages as opposed to emailing their personal email address. Then you will see which ones will answer which is only a small amount then those who respond to your emails are the ones you should contact by live chat to ser who has Skype and which ones want video chat.

The best way to communicate with your downline is through the mailer in your genealogy. Contact your team at least once per week. Let them know what you are doing in SFI. Tell them how you are growing your business and promoting Triple Clicks.

Tell them how you can help them grow their SFI business. Tell them stories that will inspire them to want to succeed. Ask them to reach out to you if they need help. Be sure to put all your contact information in all your correspondence.

Now, I believe the best way you should communicate with your downline is the easy way that you both can find. No matter if it's a telephone, e-mail, chat or some other type of communication.

Personally, I prefer chat because it is the most successful way, and this is why.

This way, you will give your affiliates the help they need in a fastest way which is important. Let's say a person from your downline contacts you and he needs answers to more than one question which are all important for his business and also yours. By chatting, you can analyze questions slowly, one by one and provide the most correct answers in case you need to search for some of them.

There are so many ways you can chat with your dowline and that's the best part, because you are sure you will find the one that fits you both.

I want to first thank you Augustine for asking this informative question. I immediately started thinking about it and I started pondering over how do I communicate with my downlines.
It most importantly depends how we sponsored or acquired those downlines. Let's explore all the available means and its effectiveness, to communicate with downlines which are as follows :
1)Telephones/mobiles: This method is most effective if you know your downlines personally. If you are comfortable talking with your downlines then this is the best available option to communicate. The following are the advantages of communicating with telephones or mobile phones:
A)It's quick. It's instantaneous. You can explain everything on phone to your downlines which can take a long time by other means of communications
B)Your downlines know that somebody real is talking on phone. Your confidence reflects on the phone. It immediately transmits a great motivation signal to your downlines.
C)Your downlines's doubts can be immediately cleared and your business will grow manifold as each downline will start scoring maximum points. I have used this method effectively as most of my downlines start scoring VPs immediately after communicating with me on phone. I call them personally.

2)Social media like Facebook, twitter, Google plus etc : This method is most effective if you have sponsored your downlines through social media like Facebook etc. In my case most of my downlines whom I sponsored through Facebook continue to communicate with me and I can guide them through Facebook ( I mostly use Facebook)

There are many whom I sponsored through Facebook and they are continuing in SFI because I am continuously communicating with them personally.
They get motivation from me as they can see the proof that if a 50 plus man can do it they can definitely do it.

3)Email:This method is mostly effective when you do not know your downlines personally. You can send them mails and guide them. As compared to above means of communications its effectiveness is slower. Nevertheless, its also a good method of communication. It was effective in my case as my sponsor is from a different country and initially she communicated with me through emails only.

4)Through SFI Group Mailer : SFI has given us an excellent method of communicating with those downlines who are many levels down. In my case this method has inspired one of my downlines in my 3rd level. This is effective as well.

I hope this will help you a great deal as you can choose any of the above means of communications depending on how you sponsored or acquired your downlines. Use all available means to grow your business. All the best to you.

The best ways to communicate with your downline are as soon as possible, frequently, and in a friendly manner

- using any method or methods of communication that you are both comfortable using.

You may not be comfortable meeting an affiliate face to face, while your affiliate is, or vice versa. Find a middle ground: Skype or phone.

It doesn't matter which methods of communication you and your downline use to communicate with each other - emails, team mails, ecards, text messages, live chat - as long as you are both comfortable using those methods - the more comfortable you both are, the more effective the communications can be.

As Soon As Possible
- Welcome new affiliates as soon as possible, respond to questions as soon as possible, contact affiliates the moment you notice they may need praise, encouragement, tips or guidance.

Frequently
- In addition to communicating when your affiliates as soon as possible when required, don't let too long go by before communicating with them again. If it's nothing urgent, at least send some basic tips, reminders, or simply say hello and ask how they are. You don't want them to feel neglected.

In a Friendly Manner
- No problem your affiliates have should be too small for you to quickly give attention to. They are learning, just like you once had to. Be nice.
