For me, being effective recruiting affiliates face to face/one on one means that I have to have plenty of gift cards, and x-cards on hand. To be an effective one-on-one recruiter, you have to make your encounter with your prospect natural. It has to flow in the course of the conversation. Otherwise, you will come over as a hard sale. You don't want this! The idea is to provide a solution to a problem that your prospect is currently experiencing.

1. Set a goal of what you want to achieve through this

People are different in the way they think and do things. I think to effectively recruit someone into your SFI team firstly establish a common ground where your can start a fruitful conversation with him/her. Recruiting affiliate face to face is one thing I enjoy doing most. I look them in the eye and present the business boldly, I have been around SFI for a little while though but during this period I have spent quality time studying and understanding the business.

Taking it one on one, you must do this with a laptop computer to make it easy, if you do not have computer you will have to answer a lot of question convincingly.
