Communication at this time should also be minimal. After sending Welcome E-Cards and E-mails, give the new affiliates time, a week to ten days is recommended, to understand what they have joined in, as others have no idea SFI is a business opportunity and not a job.
There are plenty of information on the Homepage alone, that new affiliates will not know what to do and what to read first. A clear and simple guidance will help much in getting new affiliates settle in quickly and with ease.
So start from the beginning- that is direct them to click START and to watch the short video by Gery Carson, for a short introduction to SFI and to get familiar with the layout of the Homepage.
Next is to click and read the SFI BASICS, this contains a brief information and guidance of how to build a successful SFI business with the Ultra-Simple 3-Step Plan.
Then there’s the LAUNCHPAD. Clicking links contained in 30 lessons will take them to pages in the SFI Affiliate Center.
This where the new affiliates can be overwhelmed. The SFI Affliate Center contains all the important and relevant information found on the drop-down menu starting from Home, Hot Spots, Income, Marketing, Reference,Training, Power Tools, Leaders, Misc.- each with its own indexes that need not be explored yet while learning the basics.
So it’s best to advise new Affiliates to just click the blue "SFI BASICS" button above. Review the four actions in SFI BASICS and focus only on them. Everything else is really just tools and resources to help with the actions described in SFI BASICS.
Then wait for their questions, and if ready to go further, feed the information as needed and required.
