Well Number 1, i'l lead by example.
I too didn't qualify, so i know the pain. Even right now I still feel it. So i know how the affiliate feels and i can be able to render help.
2. Teach them how i overcame mine.
-i utilized the power of that pain and turned it for my advantage-i learnt from it. Now, 99% of my PSAs are E365 finalists. I utilized my pain to create success in my team which gave me great comfort and consolation.
- I identified what caused my elimination: my haste in becoming an EA and my ignorance in my sponsor's warning not to exhaust my points and i corrected it in my team.
3. Moving Forward.
I'l comfort him/her not to cry over a spilt milk. The competition is gone. He/she should move forward to win other contests in the company e.g The Leadership Challenge Contest (i won it last summer and i am still aiming for it this year), upline leader's contest (i won several incentives of tasks from my sponsor last year).
4. Show the affiliate other consolation monetary prizes to make for the loss of the money that would have been earned from the E365 championship e.g the $20 in the daily crown drawing. I've won the daily crown 3 times including the monetary aspect.
5. Focus On Other Monetary Areas and Activities That Could Build A Lucrative Business.
Here i console my affiliate on the importance of focusing on the other aspect of generating money in the company e.g sponsorship, being an ECA, sales, member listing etc.
6. i tell my affiliate that just because he lost the E365 championship and its benefits doesn't mean the end of his business. That he should brazen up and let it go, that he can still have and run a thriving and successful business, that the fall of a man is not the end of his life, that the E365 championship does not determine his success in SFI.
7. i'l encourage him to strive instead for the fulfilment of his other goals in SFI and in becoming an awesome sponsor and in creating a financial freedom for himself and family
8. He/she should not quit to find out who will qualify for his/her class E365 championship and send a congratulatory E card to the person, knowing that one day he too will reap a congratulatory message. What goes around, comes around.
I'l tell him/her that on my 1st year in SFI, I congratulated in the forum the E365 champion in my class. I didn't do it to be seen, but i did it because i was happy for him and it was well deserved. I was number 2 in my class then, so the guy who qualified for my class E365 championship was the number 3 in my class. Even the number 1 did not qualify. It was a well deserved work.

I would simply tell them that it is not the end of the world. This is a business venture that has multiple avenues of income and the E365 competition is only one part of the SFI experience.

If they had logged in EVERY DAY, clicked on the red tabs and set up a standing order (like they were told to do) they would not have gotten “knocked out.” So they should get over it.

I am one of the thousands of SFI affiliates who was not a part of my class E365 competition as I sat on my hands for a year before I actually did something. Now I am a Team Leader and third in my class. It has not slowed me down nor has it slowed down thousands of others.

When affiliates get knocked off their feet, it is important to acknowledge how he or she is feeling as it was a high-light for their efforts to do their best to stay in the E365 competition.

It is also important to talk with affiliates about next steps - what was their first, very first, reason for joining SFI. Have them focus on their reason and let that become the spark to re-ignite their efforts to carry on with SFI to grow and achieve the success that he or she is striving for.

If appropriate, take the time to review the other benefits that affiliates may receive from SFI such as Daily Grand Draw winnings, commissions from sales, and other games that SFI has to offer such as the Leadership Challenge.

SFI has so much to offer that it is a universal program that can fit the needs of anyone.

Where I reside, we young folks have a slang phrase for situations like this. We would say, "Keep it pushing." In other words, focus on building your business and don't stress yourself over getting kicked out the contest.

I say this because I was in this same situation. I was barely able to get over the Green Line at first (and become a finalist) for the fact that I couldn't afford to set up a standing order. Got bounced as a result. Got a second chance after making BTL status, but still couldn't afford a standing order. So I got eliminated again. But, I never gave up.

It's not "end all, be all" if you're eliminated. Just keep fighting the good fight and you'll be successful.

Competition E365 is great competition for new members of the 6 rounds lasts all year and offers the chance to win a beautiful, valuable prizes - is a shame not to take advantage of such opportunities because this competition does not require anything that a member can not be achieved.

But, if it happens that a member falls out of competition E365, it's not end of the world - falling out of the competition does not affect its continued success in the work.

For Member is essential to understand the way of doing business and making profits, that at the end of each month there are at least 1,500 VP in order to maintain the status of EA, it is time for advertising and creating a team, promoting products from TripleClicks shops.

The ultimate goal of the E365 competition is to produce a champion of the class after 365 days. However, this is not the only benefit of the competition since along the way, various prizes are awarded to the competitors. It is therefore perfectly understandable for an affiliate to be disappointed when they get knocked out of the competition.

We cannot change the past but we can learn from it. The affiliate should quickly get over their disappointment and move on. As long as they have long-term goals, their dream is still alive. The lessons they learn from their disappointment might just be what make them do better in other aspects of SFI.

Just like in any competition, there are always winners and losers and although we cannot all be E365 champions, we all have the potential to realise our SFI dream!

For such affiliates, you remind them that while we can't all win the E365 competition, we can still win.

The E365 competition divides affiliates into class. By the way, as its name implies, it is a competition. Meaning it has clear rules. Meaning it will have ONE clear winner.

However, we can still win. What I mean by this is remind them that the business is more than some silly challenge. You can win if you recruit an active team under you. You can win when you have a second, third, and even forth generation of active members under you. Then YOU WIN. The focus therefore should be on the business and not on winning the challenge.

Hi.
Although it must be a huge disappointment for them, most things in life are also disappointing...

They must look past the disappointment, and see it as a Challenge -
use motivational and inspiring stories or Quotes to 'pick' them up and let them see that there are many more other Rewards to look out for.

Every once in a while, all of us suffer a loss or disappointment : The Secret is : Will you look past it and use it as a Stepping Stone in a new Direction, OR just give up and loose out on other rewards?

That is my perspective on life and how I would address it.

Hope this might offer you also New Hope..... Nothing is 'Lost forever'.

I would remind them that only one person can win this competition and tell them that this competition didn't even exist when I joined.

I would also tell them to look to the future. There is the Leadership Challenge. Gery and his team are always coming up with new ideas for contests, badges, and games which they can win. E365 is not and never will be the only one.
