I have never really been a fan of social networks. I am not really a talker online or offline. However, I have checked it out and there are so many members of these type of sites that I think it would be very worthwhile and I have totally changed my mind about these type of sites.

The important aspect of social networks is to link yourself with people who are not yet members of SFI. Post some of the values, explain the games and how they are of a benefit to members who want to progress. Explain that if they like auctions, that there are many auctions of products to participate in. Also explain that there is a shop with thousands of products in it which, if you sell some, you receive a commission.

Sites like Linkedin and other similar sites can be a valuable source of new PSAs if you go about wording your “advertising” to them. Be as helpful as you can and answer any questions promptly.

You might just get a few more members in your team. After all, most of the people on social networks are looking for an opportunity. It is now up to you to provide that opportunity and help them all you can.

Social media marketing can be one of the most effective means of recruiting PSAs into your SFI business. Here are some reasons why . . .

- You connect with people who are eager socialites.
- You connect with people who have the same interests as you.

Social sites used to be the playground of just young people. Not anymore. They have grown up and many successful business men and women are members of social sites. Many senior citizens are also members of social sites. Businesses have also joined these sites.

These sites are also no longer just ‘social’ sites. Businesses and professional people use the sites to promote themselves and their businesses. Why not SFI! Why not you!

As a member join groups and connect with people that have similar interests as you whether it business related or not. Become a regular contributor and if possible, establish yourself as a knowledgeable person on certain matters and why not internet marketing.

While doing this talk about SFI and/or TripleClicks promoting them. Your friends and contacts will become curious about SFI/TripleClicks and will want to know more about them. Hopefully they will join and in that way build up your business. And because you are a regular contributor to the sites you keep in contact with them.

Having membership in a social site like LinkedIn could prove to be a very valuable tool in building your SFI business. LinkedIn is one of the most powerful social networking sites to make connections and generate leads for your SFI business.

Here are ways to use LinkedIn help you build your SFI business:

- Join LinkedIn groups.

Joining a group can give you access to people related to your SFI business. Groups that have been created relating to marketing professionals and social media marketing give you the ability to generate leads for building your SFI business. For your basic membership LinkedIn allows you to join up to 50 Groups.

Search for online home based business opportunity, topics and location specific groups that contain concentrations of people to network with them. Spend time looking at the level of participation and conversations. If all you find is updates with members promoting their businesses move on as this group will be of little benefit to your business.

Tip: You should look for groups that don’t tolerate flagrant self-promotion, which is the best groups for lead generation.

Linkedin and similar social sites all function on the basis of connecting people from all over the world who share the same interests, ideas, or are in the same or similar business. Therefore, if you list SFI as a company in which or for which you work stating online sale or affiliate marketing as a branch of business, it will automatically draw attention to your profile. It may happen to you (as it has happened to me several times upon listing 'affiliate marketing' as my field of interest) to receive messages from people from different countries asking you questions about SFI and your business.

In fact, thanks to Linkedin, I have got one of my most active PSAs from another country. People who connect to you and your business through Linkedin and similar sites are more likely to become active members because they are more serious about this kind of business and they can immediately perceive the benefits this business offers to its affiliates. All in all, my answer would be that Linkedin can help you more than you can imagine.

So it is more appropriate to ask how do you build your social presence on social networks to build your business.

Businesses need to understand that social networking sites are intend just for that - being sociable. Many businesses don't understand that social marketing is more about liking and branding than selling in the first stages. So a good approach to follow on Linkedin is to complete your profile as thoroughly and honestly as possible; then, connect with people who are from your hometown or your vocation. Then you have to start with base conversations relevant to the topic at hand. Remember why you connected with them in the first place - e.g. your hometown. So much of the conversation in the beginning is going to be about events, people, and places in your hometown. Or if it's your family, then the base conversation is going to be about family happenings and updates. People like people who are like them! The more people that you involve in the conversation then the greater your following. Once you have a following, all you have to do then is to interject a viral idea about a common theme and watch it spread like wildfire!

That's the power of social media and that's how it works. Just yelling at the top of your lungs about your new toy is not going to impress anyone because they are not on the social network to learn about that unless you have set the stage and they see value in it for them. Like Linkedin Facebook is also a Social Media where unlike Linkedin we can create our Fan Pages and ask our connection to like our Fan Pages. Then we can promote our business on Facebook too. Facebook was founded on February 4 2004. Millions of people use Facebook everyday to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet.We can connect with other members and promote our business in comments or fan pages at Facebook just like on Linkedin.

I am just giving you example of only two best known social media network. You can join dozens of them free of cost and advertise your SFI and TripleClicks business free or using a nominal charges.

LinkedIn has several thousands of followers, from big business to small business owners and network marketers galore.

How does this affect us as networkers, we can reach a wider audience for one thing.

With the economy the way it is today,you would be surprised at "who" is looking to shore-up their income.

I know of several in LinkedIn and I have one client that is in LINKEDIN...looking for work-at-home situations. They have asked questions and I try to answer them to the best of my ability. I send them to SFI and let them handle the details.

I don't try to sell on the LinkedIn site, I just "wave the bait", and when they are hungry, they WILL bite...that is when I go to work.....

I think too many times we as little worker bees that we are, tend to grab everyone and say look you gotta see this.......when they are not ready! That is why we have so many inactives......

When panning for gold, you don't grab every shiny rock, you pan until the gold is there and then you lock it down.......

Same thing applies in our selling of SFI and our business plan....we must be discriminatory, if you will, and check out the people the market that you are approaching.

Do they even want a business, are they geared for networking, do they have any money!

Qualify the people and you WILL get the GEMS!

Linkedin is one of them. Its becoming better and stronger day by day.

Its an on line platform for many people with different professional knowledge and back ground.

It provides an opportunity to its members to share their knowledge, experience, etc on different subjects so that others can benefit.

The other side, Organizations also use this to advertise their requirement. Freshers without any experience also register themselves with hopes to receive opportunities to begin their career.

When you become a member, contribute regularly and talk about SFI duly providing Gateways, interested people will try and make a connection with you. You can also make connections with people of similar or different interest. In short, you get opportunities to know more people.

Conclusion:

1. Once you start knowing more and more people, introduce your JMT and other SFI/TC
Gateways;
2. Who ever is interested, will definitely establish contact with you.
3. Grab the opportunity with your both hands;
4. You stand to lose nothing.
5. If you believe, other social sites like Face Book, etc will be of use to build your SFI
