It's stated by most business collage courses that most people fear public speaking over most other activities. Since speaking in public is not a requirement your shyness should not be a deterrent.

Assuming you're in or have been involved with another person you shyness was overcome by a desire to gain! And if you have children, your shyness didn't stop you from propagating. Again shyness was overcome by a deep burning desire. So I ask you, can you apply that same desire to overcome shyness, and participate with others to build your SFI downline team. Especially since you'll be doing it online instead of in person?.. Also keep in mind most activities have been automated!

In most cases it's the "Fear of Failure" however,.. that knows no boundaries,.. and is what many people are dealing with. This is what keeps most people from succeeding!.. However,.. when you carefully, and quantifiably examine SFI/TripleClicks systems, there is NO real reason to fear failure or success. NOTHING is on YOU!.. They've proven and tested their systems process for over 17+ years. This works for those who consistently read & participate in the game "PLAYBOOK". If you were involved in football, baseball, volleyball, or any other team sport you know what the game "PLAY BOOK" is. Every coach hands them out at the beginning of the season. You have to read and know the material before you participate. SFI has their coaches and their game "PLAYBOOK". Like any other sport,.. here your desire to win must overcome your fear of confrontation and loss! YOU can do what it takes to muster the internal fortitude. Just learn the PLAYBOOK and apply the game plan. Your coaches are always available.

As far as being internet savvy. You don't have to learn Internet Coding or Programing. You don't have to learn and build your own websites and be adept at search engine optimization. Since you're reading this, it appears you can turn on the commuter. Your connected to the internet. You obviously were successful in navigating to this point. You don't need to be internet savvy. All the instructions are written in the "SFI PLAYBOOK". If you need to contact your upline sponsors for their practical application experience. Also there are all the FORUMS! So I ask ~ DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?.. Is this something you desire?

These two stumbling blocks can be overcome by two simple measures:

1 - Get internet savvy with a class in how to use the internet. Such classes are available in places like Senior Centers, local colleges and so forth. Just look in the classified ads in your local newspaper.

2 - Control your shyness by learning to ask questions of people rather than make statements.
Good questions might be (in an internet cafe): "Are you working or playing online right now?"
or "Are you making money online?" or "What do you think about online marketing?" People like to talk about their selves. Just do not make your questions too intrusive. Respect their privacy.

When you say you're shy that means you cannot communicate effectively. Not being internet savvy means you know next to nothing about the internet. Now rather than this becoming a hindrance, they can really be a springboard to a more fulfilling life. You take the responsibility to learn and undergo several self improvement courses or seminars to get to communicate effectively.
Now you can print cards or text ads from the marketing center to distribute to your friends, colleagues and even outright strangers. These cards or text ads must contain your link and what aspect of the business you want to work on.

Flyers of products or affiliate signups can be produced and placed in strategic points in your locality, bus or train stations, airport terminals, markets, shopping malls etc.

You can do a video presentation and get someone to upload on YouTube. Share the links via email or otherwise to your prospects.
You may hire an expert to do this if you have the cash to burn.

I feel if you are shy etc. The best way to grow your SFI business.
Is to have a domain with a SFI training website.
Lots of ECA Websites offer to design your SFI website for you once you make the purchase.
First make contact with your sponsor. He may already be a member with his own domain.
I always let me team know where I design my website and offer to design there's FREE if they decide to purchase one.

YOU can then use this link as your signature at G Mai. It will automatically be at the bottom of any communications you make with your team or email replies.
I also have a face book group, where I encourage all my team to participate sharing their knowledge with our new team members.

Make friends at the SFI Forum, this will boost your confidence, as you start to learn about SFI. You can then share weekly with your team what you are discovering at SFI.
E Cards etc are a great way of building a relationship with your team.
Always be honest, what ever suggestions you recommend, always make sure you are doing the same. Example you encourage your team to set up a standing order. Make sure you have one in place.

First of all, one has to be courageous to enter into any business.

If you are shy you will not be able to prosper in your business.

Just assume, you are a Trainer and you need to conduct Training courses for the Corporate Sector. Will it help if you are shy?

SFI is like any other business. Lot of efforts is required to build the Team, grow and succeed.

If you are shy and avoid speaking to people, how can you build a Team? How can you grow? How can you succeed?

To over come this:

1. Under go Training Courses, Personality Development Programs etc;
2. Learn to interact with people step by step;
3. Develop your confidence level over a period of time;
4. Start mingling with a small group in events, family functions, office meetings, etc;
5. Start conversations with strangers;
6. Smile & say Hi to any one you encounter every day

By doing all these, you will grow in confidence & one day you will find there is no shyness left in you, at all.

This is how one can over come one's shyness.

Remaining shy will not help at all.

If you are unable to come out of it, then interact with people invisibly, meaning over Phone, IM messenger, E-Mails, Chat Lines, etc.

All it requires to do the above is simple knowledge to operate your computer system. You need not be an internet savvy. If you operate it regularly, you will grow in confidence. You can learn new things by reading enough books on the subject.

Please read all study materials being provided by SFI under various heads like Training, LaunchPad, Basics, etc. Forum & Ask SC provide best opportunities to learn and many things.

All these will help.

Conclusion:

With shyness, one cannot be able to grow one's business. Shyness prevents one from developing a Team. Without a team, you cannot win. One need not be an internet savvy to grow and succeed in on line business. Some practical experience will be enough!!

If you are shy and not internet savvy then you may need to reconsider your choice to go in this type of business. Business is about interacting with people and you can't afford to be shy when profits are at stake. If you are not internet savvy then you may want to consider a more traditional approach to the business.

Direct mail has come of age and is a viable way to grow your business. You can use a reputable list broker to get biz opp leads that are interested in working part time and/or from home. Then all you have to do is use the marketing center to market to them. You don't have to call them and you can just create a simple email that you drip market to them 3 times every 7 days.

Finally just because you are not savvy now does not mean that you can not invest a little time in to learn and execute as you go. Sooner than you think, you will be able to do marketing campaigns and set up a blog, a website, and your autoresponder. Just don't expect to do it instantly and get instant results. Everything takes some time so give yourself the time you need to learn the process.

Their are a lot of people out their that have these issues; and you know what, that is ok.

I too have a slight case of shyness have a hard time speaking with people face to face.
That is why Im on the net because I don't have to be face to face and I don't have to talk on the phone with people.

Advertise using free methods
use e-mail, messaging, team letters, even with online chat there is no face to face.
most of the stuff on the net is typing.

Then as you are working your business push yourself out of your comfort zone and start doing those thing that you are having problems with.

For getting internet experience there are all kinds of free
( How to use the internet) You tube is a great place to start.

So no worries even us shy people can succeed on the internet.

In my own idea if you are shy and not an internet sawy this is the methods
that you must do:

We all know that SFI provided trainings free and have no charge at all.That's
why they encourage all new affiliates to review and read first those trainings
such as SFI basics,Launchpad, compensation plan, and benefit chart.As an example
I start my business with my own strategy I don't know how to start before but
I patiently read all the necessary information that it will help me to grow my
business.So, I advice you to start reviewing those trainings because what you
all need to grow your business are already provided its up to you on how you
exert efforts such as time, patience,determination and eagerness to achieve your
goal.Those trainings are your foundation to move forward and boosts your income.
No.2 option you have you sponsor, co-sponsor,and upline to help and guide you for everything you need.
And no.3 try to participate always in the forum which you can get different ideas and
answers regarding you questions and you have Ask SC too.These 3 guidelines that I have
given you will hopefully help and answer your question.
