This is a great topic for I am always shy when it comes to talking with new people but somehow I managed to open up.
Maybe you can start Off with your close friends and family members first time.

After a few times just try a couple of different approaches,you will find it to become a little bit easier.
Write down or type a couple introduction speeches.You can also make a couple of audio recording to practice.

After time you will be great at promoting and bringing them in with routine!

Dear Evelyn,

When a baby is born, he/she does not know a lot of things. Through education and experience, a small human being grows up and gradually knows about many things and is able to do a lot of things.

Being shy is may be an inborn trait or may be because of an upbringing environment. This shyness can be tackled with accordingly. In terms of doing business, the shyness can be modified with time. For example, a shy person can learn to be more comfortable with new people as he/she meets them regularly. Communicate with as many people as you can so that you can have a big number of friends.

You can get new friends at your work place ( just increase your social horizon ), join a volunteering group in your community, participate in social occasions or fulfill party invitations. Later, meeting people will become natural for you. And without realizing it, you will not be a shy person anymore! You courage and confidence will evolve over time through socializing, learning, practicing and making errors. You will develop valuable social skills which will have a great impact on your business, especially if you are doing sponsoring offline.

When you feel comfortable with them and they also feel the same, at an appropriate time, you just start a conversation about your business.

But, for me, being shy has a minimal impact if you are doing an online business, like SFI. You at least need to develop a communication skill, especially writing skill because you are going to have a team globally.

The second part of your question is about being internet savvy. Being shrewd, competent and well-informed in computer and internet knowledge and skills, are of great help. To become an internet savvy actually can be learned. It’s not an impossible task but it certainly takes your time and energy. You can get many tutorials or attend computer classes to learn about computer and internet. Do make a sacrifice of you want to become a master in network marketing.

Anyway, I feel that SFI has make our jobs easy. All internet complexities and tough network interconnections are being thought of by a group of SFI think tank.

I believe that the best method always has been face-to-face advertising/communicating. On the internet is easier to see online face-to-face a prospect, but for sure you should have the courage to show yourself online. If you really don't want people to see your face, write e-mails - short and clear with simple words. I am introvert so I often communicate with e-mails or personal messages on social networks. But when I feel the person I communicate with, closer I show my face in video chat or at least live chat. Regarding being internet savvy I believe that skills are always improving with the support of people, who can give it. On SFI people have large Upline, so if the Upline are serious, they will give support for sure if you ask them. Skills are learned and they improve with trying new strategies and lot of communication - it's not a problem, it's a challenge.

We're all shy when we need others to present something new.
But that does not mean we should give up.
Tell your family, your relatives, friends ..... they will pass it on to others. I will slowly develop networks.
Create blogs and people will read it. There are instructions how to make a blog and slowly'll learn it.
There are also instructions for creating the site, the first few days to learn. I did not know anything about it, but I read and read, and it is not difficult, and you'll learn.
Place ads wherever you find a place in your area.
