Hello David. Communication in business is such an important factor to consider. Whilst some people love live chat, others do not. Some love email, some do not. And so it goes on. There are just so many ways to communicate these days with all of the social networks, email, chat etc. selecting one avenue of communication to suit everyone is difficult.

Myself, I don’t like live chat to communicate with someone I don’t know or someone that is very new to my team. I

Effective communication is important in order to assist, guide and mentor you team and lack of it may result in misinterpretation of your message and therefore not achieving its objective, because the recipients may respond as unintended by you. I identified some ways to communicate in an effective way below:

1. Ensure you send mails that enunciate the benefits rather than just spending, otherwise you may be seen as been exploitative.

2. Be very responsive to their questions

This is an excellent question, which may seem simple to answer by some. SFI has developed its “Own Power Tools Settings for Communicating Effectively with Affiliates/TEAM Members.” There are various Articles on Effective email writing which includes, but not limited to Weekly Newsletters, TIPS, Motivational letters, PSA and CSA Specific e-mails. If you are Not a Great Writer, these Tools are extremely valuable. You can find this section (3) different ways via the Affiliate Center, otherwise

Here's my opinion:-

1. Emails
In SFI world, communication via email remains potent. It will enable you to pass messages to members of your team without pulling them out of their work stations.

2. Use Presentations
Some people grasp messages easily when pictures and sounds are involved. Using presentations like Microsoft Power Point to communicate with your team will give them the opportunity to refer back to it if they aren’t clear about certain things. You can prepare

There are various ways to communicate with your team, whether it’s with your team as a whole or one on one.

If you want to communicate with your team as a whole you can use the Team Mail at your Genealogy or your PSA or CSA Mailer, or Stream Post or you can send out a newsletter. You can also engage in Group Chat on Facebook. It all depend on what you want to convey to them as a whole. Here the Team Mail work the best.

If you want to communicate with them one on one to convey

The most effective way to communicate with your team is to first of all make sure you already have a Welcome letter in place, to greet your new PSA's and CSA's. This letter will automatically be seen by them on their Homepage as an alert. You can create this letter by going to your Hot Spots tab and clicking on the Versa Ledger. You can also, find it under your Account tab. There is a standard letter you can use or you can create one of your own. In this letter I use links to how to get started

Communication is not just 'message sent', but 'message received and understood'. You can be the best orator in the world, but if nobody is listening to you, you are wasting your time. So to communicate effectively, you need to engage your team, make them want to read what you are writing, or listen to what you are saying.

To do this, you need to communicate with your team regularly, openly and honestly.

By communicating regularly, I mean send out regular team emails, as well

There are several options available, some more preferable than others. If you like, Skype is one way. Watch for them in your movers list or genealogy, when little chat bubble is yellow, they are online, you can initiate a conversation more or less live that way.

One of the easiest will be through your leadership page, or Stream posts. These would be good for snippets of information for all your downline.

Use your movers list to send e-cards with helpful tips, or ask them why
