As a new Team Leader the single most important thing that you should be doing is building your team of passionate affiliates. The core principle of SFI affiliate program is Duplication. Make sure that you read and understand SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD.

As a new Team Leader the single most important thing I should be doing is to provide support for the team. Support for the team includes effective communications, motivating the team, imparting knowledge, solving their problems pertaining to SFI, answering their questions, checking on their progress, providing feedback and helping them to progress to become Team Leaders.

Communicate, Communicate, Communicate! (But not too much...)
It is most important that you keep in close contact with your team, without overwhelming them with information. One email every other day is the maximum I set - unless there is a pressing concern. SFI has set up a system that rewards you for weekly communication - use it!

Do a team letter every week. You never know when an inactive member will decide to take a closer look. Your continued care for them may light that spark.

The short answer here is for you to Lead your Team and be an Awesome Sponsor/Co Sponsor.

Always remember that your team members are all real people, with dreams and aspirations and most likely loved ones who may be dependent upon them.

Hi Stephen,

I think the single most important thing you should do once you become a new Team Leader is to communicate with your team and let them know that you are there for them. Read "How to be an Awesome Sponsor" and follow those guidelines. They will help you learn what to do and what to avoid.

Share with your team the knowledge you have acquired and try to find out how you can help individual members who are struggling. Work directly with those affiliates who

I believe the most important thing you should be doing as a team leader is motivating your team. Lead by example and show them how to be successful with SFI.
Actions speak louder than words, so if you're not practicing what you're preaching, no one will listen to you.
This means being active every day in SFI. Posting stream updates and updating your SFI blog regularly. Send out team mails with either words of encouragement or ideas on how to make SFI more successful for your downline.

As a leader, we should have team members under us. The measurement of leadership not just here in SFI is how well we motivate our team mates to keep on working or participating in team work with sustained passion and interest.

This can be done by frequent communication to motivate our team mates to work on with us towards success.
