As new Team Leader, some of the specific things you need to do, that will contribute to this success would be, ensuring both you and your team stay focused and motivated. Finding things they can do or do differently that can improve relationship and performance, between you and your team members. Rules of Success applies.
Without real relationship or friendship with an affiliate, it will be difficult to build an optimal level of trust with them. Once this established, its easier for a Team Leader to make a suggestions for the affiliate to utilize/apply in their works.
You succeed only if they succeed.
