Building a strong and effective team with high performance in mind, and for a team to be effective, all members in your team must unite behind an inspiring vision and be motivated to bring that vision to life. They must share clear measurable goals and be committed to playing their part in the overall success of your team.

Here some of the key points towards building a strong and effective team:

1) Define your team goals & purpose
Via effective communication. SFI communication tools made available to you for maximum use. Be it Stream, PSA/CSA Team Mails, Team Mails, Instant Messaging and e-mails, all are meant to be used to create a solid, dedicated and well informed team of members. Teach them to do whatever they learn from Rules of Success, Launchpad and SFI Basics. As a good Leader, you are responsible to communicate all the important news and changes affected your team members in your team.

2) Define the goal and set expectations
Once the team is united behind a shared, a compelling purpose, outline the required tasks maybe in schedule with agreed deadlines and responsibilities. Remember, it has to be mutual, because we tend to forget that our downlines are NOT our workers. Make each of your team members understand their roles to play for everyone to achieve team goals, in turn each team members will achieve their target of the month too, by cooperating. Support them as much as you are able to.

You must ensure that frequent, open, honest and transparent communication is being carried out within your team. 3) Review and Rewards
You may consider reviewing your team’s performance through team meeting. It can be done via webminar. Or a one-to-one check-ins, to ensure your team is progressing toward goals. Finding it out by asking questions such as; How are we doing? What we have learned? What is not working well? How can we improve? What have we achieved so far? These questions could be related to your Team Co-Op, Team Advertisement, signing-up of new affiliates etc. Skype and Facebook are the popular ones for most Team Leaders to reach out to their team members.
Reviewing and monitoring progress allows for adjustments and improvements to be incorporated into team processes, along the way.

Now, once team goals are achieved, on regular basis, you recognize, reward and celebrate both team and individual performance. We can do it in FORUM, sending E-Cards, personal e-mails or communicate it via SFI’s Instant Messaging service.

By doing so, it will help to build higher self-esteem, morale and boost the motivation of the group to continue their hard work. Find the most appropriate way to celebrate. Example, a team lunch if all are from the same area or family members! Transfer of T-Credits could be another way. Ensure that your recognition is consistent and the method you choose inspires and reinforces the team members to continue their positive contribution to the team’s progress.

~You can have the most rewarding compensation plan in the World, the most talked about Product/s on the Planet, the most attentive Upline, but if you don’t know what your Prospect Really wants, none of that matters.~

This is the biggest turn-off. Not knowing what your prospect wants.
To avoid it, starts your conversation casually, observe and try to pick-up information regarding his/her needs;
1) What is he/she looking for specifically?
2) What’s is his/her/their budget?
3) When is he/she planning to start the business?
A simple Qualifying process will give you a better understanding of what each prospect or customer wants.

Other turn-off that I can think of are;

• Don’t lose sight of the goal - that you want them to join your team. Give them the quick and concise information about SFI, make it easier for them to understand what you/SFI are offering.

• No story telling. Tell them what they need and want to know (and not to bore them to death), as we know people have short attention spans, so minimize dragging things on.

• Not to over-exaggerate and make false promises of what one’s can get or do within a short time with SFI, such as promising instant cash upon signing, big paycheck in 1st month etc. You are well aware that these will not happen unless your prospect is willing to work and invest some money into their business in SFI. Just like any other business which needs big capital upfront, but small or none, in SFI.

When you invest money into your business, it definitely strengthens your commitment because it tends to create the thought, “Now I gotta make this business work!”

• You don’t need to convince anyone to join your business. Plenty of people are looking for real opportunity. Find them and determine IF you have something they already want. Separate those ‘really interested in your business’ and just the ‘curious’ ones, as the curious ones will always find a reason to say ‘i’m not interested’.

• Talk less and listen more. Listening to your prospects helps you to build better relationships with them. First it helps you get to know them. What they want. What their needs are. What their desires are. What problems they may be facing. What their goals are.
This is helpful information because it will help you solve their problems and tailor your message to each prospect. Also, it shows to the prospect that you have a genuine interest in them.

Finding the right prospects for your business saves you and them from engaging in uncomfortable conversations and increases the productivity of your business efforts. As a network marketer, make it your job to pique interest in people, so those who have a real interest, will ask you to give them more information.

You need to know on how to structure your marketing in order to generate new leads or make successful sales in your effort to market TripleClicks (TC) products. You need to think about the unique benefits your products or services offer and explain that in persuasive way and you must emphasize on the results, not features.

I would say the 5 components for good advertising should consist the following:

• Headline that command attention – You need an attention-grabber, that makes people want to know more about your products/services. The headlines should best describe on the benefits or show how a problem can be avoided with your products/services.
• Showcase benefits – This is to engage your readers. More importantly, show to them how they will solve or prevent a problem by using/purchasing your products or services. Explain to them what’s in your products/services, to include factual and clear information and to precisely tells what are the benefits and how these products/services are going to help the customer.
• Offer proof – This part, you are educating your reader. This is where you prove what your advertisement is offering. You may provide information that establishes credibility and past performance.
• Persuade - Continue to educate your reader to embrace the benefits. You need to add a compelling reasons your potential customers, to purchase your products/services, maybe use a hard sell approach and create the scarcity/urgency for your potential customers to feel like they have to act now, which will lead to the last component.
• Call to action – Compel your potential customers to DO something, like checking out your site, sign up for your newsletter, purchase your products, contact you about services etc.

There are a lot of ways to make potential customers excited about ordering your products. You must help them feel that they are getting an amazing deal. Send out weekly newsletter/team mails/stream post to your team with a brief tips You are letting members in your team know that you care. They don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. Use all these to acknowledge achievement, to praise your team members for job well done. Give & share your best tips and advice. Talk to them if they ask for advice.

2) Create a Team Co-op.
You can use Pay Per Click or any other ad campaign – you can award it free or use member’s URL who partipate in the Co-op, in your advert, on rotation basis based on the Co-op share/allocated.

3) Create a contest within your team – Create and let your members know using method no. 1. Use your Leadership Page to create this contest. It is a great way to motivate your downlines. Offer something of value like free e-books, Co-op Shares, if you can afford paying for purchase of TCredits subscription (Standing Order) or any other which can help them build their team, which, in return will benefit you as well.

4) Conference calls – Skype is one of the cheapest and free. Google Hangout. Facebook Instant Messenger, Yahoo IM and so many more ways you can use to interact with your downlines. Besides using it to motivate and help your team, it can also be used as a recruiting tools. You may want to segment it, that this weekly conference call are for e.g. new affiliates, leaders, group brainstorming session or even devoted for recruiting.
You can also create a buddy system – encourage these buddy groups to have weekly/monthly conference calls amongst themselves.


5) Similar to SFI’s News Alert, you too can create a newsgroup, a great way to promote teamwork. Your team members will have the opportunity to help each other because this newsgroup sets your team apart and makes it seem special.

Let your team members know that you will visit this newsgroup on a regular basis or even on specific date of the month. Post a schedule for your team members to know your visiting date. This way, if they have anything to ask or requested for a feedback from you, they will know when exactly your next scheduled visit will be. Used newsletter (item no. 1) to encourage your team members to take advantage of this newsgroup. Update them within your devoted section in your newsletter.


Finally, everyone should know how to blog. Its an additional way to keep in touch with your team, to show them that you care. By sharing your quick tips, tools, info that you can post on weekly basis. Your timely updates, post your weekly newsletter also an easy way for your team to check on previous newsletter. Encourage them to start blogging and you can offer them other team members’ blog links.

As compare to your different method of advertising, there is no guarantee that your newspaper advertisement will give you your desired result. The following are the elements for your consideration to increase effectiveness of your advert.

1) Attention grabbing headlines and in a simple format.
2) A great offer – by understanding what is your customer’s expectations or what they want to
know. Example, if you are an ECA and you are celebrating your e-store’s anniversary, you
can advertise for anniversary sale in a big scale. Remember, grabbing attention is very
important. If you have new product and need to do product launching, you can do the same.

The more you advertise in the newspaper, the more it will be seen. Check out that/about;
a) Check out if your competitor is the in the same paper? Or a similar to your advertising is
there?
b) What is the quality of the newspaper and readership and distribution of the newspaper?
c) Choose newspaper(s) that gives you huge exposure. If you can afford, go for #1
newspaper of the country.
d) If you go for Classified Advert, go for those with lesser days, e.g. twice a week, this will
reduce your investment, instead of spending tons of money if the insertion is done on daily
basis.
Choose your Classified Advert with newspaper that has 90% Business Opportunity Section,

If you carefully browsed list of items at TC, you will find that downloadable items would be a better choice. E-books for example is easily downloaded to your email once you purchased them. The other option is to promote your local ECAs. Both will eliminate the shipping cost. Beyond that, high shipping costs might hinder you from getting your sign-ups or PRMs.
