In my opinion any communication that is not building your SFI business is unnecessary communication toward your team. That is what you have A2A for. However, if you are sending out tips, praises and rewards to your team then you can never have too much of that kind of communication. Just be sure you are ready to answer questions or direct them where to go for answers because that is also a part of

I believe that it is UNNECESSARY to send out everything that you do; except when it benefits your receivers. I would suggest staying in regular contact with ALL of your ACTIVE affiliates. There is no set number, but remember to keep them updated with all of your actions.

For your non-active affiliates, it is wise to, at least, send them a notice twice a month. You should send them updates that might pertain to them, should they decided to become active in the future.

I have been sending out tips and notes of encouragement every two to three days to everyone in my down line.
I know that most of my CSAs are not reading these contacts because they have not logged in for a long time, but I figure if one of them does log in the emails will be there for them to read if they want to.
I will continue this process with everyone until I receive a notice from someone to stop sending the emails. Then I will take them off the list.
If people are not reading

For starters, it is never to late to learn something new. Copy writing can be an excellent skill to master.

For the ones who haven't done anything at all, consider this: all successful companies and businesses have recruiting tools for customers, clients, contractors, vendors, and partners. The fantastic part about SFI is that your team is all of the above, except an employee.

Step one is creating a lead. All CSAs and PSAs, unless personally spoken with before they signed

The only unnecessary communication is cross marketing. Other than that, I follow this rule of thumb: If I find out about something that interests, excites or helps me, I want to share it. I am the leader, so it is up to me to pass my knowledge down.

If Affiliate A were my best friend, would I pick up the phone and call her about this news? If so, send a note! Keep it brief, ask questions related to the subject, ask if they need assistance of any kind - create a dialogue.

Too much and unnecessary communication would be:

*Harping on one issue repeatedly.
*Divulging too much of one's personal/private info and demanding same from your affiliates.
*Sending mails too often (like more than thrice a week) to your PSAs/CSAs.
*Making the body of your message too long and boring such that the main point does not
easily stand out.

These to me are unnecessary.

The potential for "too much communication" is very high the first month after joining the program. SFI sends new affiliates at least one email message a day in the first 30 days. Adding to this, other than the welcome message and the weekly newsletters, tailored for the new affiliates, will be "too much communication" in my opinion.

After the first month more than two emails per week I think would be too much if the affiliate does not have questions and does not ask

I consider too much communication is when you keep on repeating what you already had communicated to your affiliates. Well, it's a different story, when you just try to remind them. Too much and unnecessary are just annoying to one's ear and it doesn't help at all. Let your affiliates also have the chance to learn and discover on his own the things he needed to learn. Our role is just to support them and not to spoon feed them.

I hope this will help you. Thanks and God bless!

I guess that depends on every single person in your team.

Some need a lot of communication and others don't!

I prefer to contact my entire team once a week, making sure they know they can contact me with whatever question they have.Even if i don't know the answer,i respond as quickly as i can letting them know i am looking for an answer.

Hope this helps!

There are 4 reasons why I communicate with my team.

1. Weekly Mailer
2. Recognition
3. Comments/Help based on their VP Ledger
4. If they contact me first

Any other type of communication would be too much and could be considered a bother by your affiliates. Too much communication could harm your relationship with your affiliates. Thus, keep your communication to a helpful and informative manner.
