Hi David,

You have asked a very important question here. By asking this question, you have given many of us the chance to explain to new affiliates the importance of sticking with it and logging in daily doing a little more each day to reach their goal.

Are you aware of the business funnel?

You can have 100 000 people coming in the top (people who see your site or people who you approach). Out of those people you may only get 10 people who sign up to your program. These 10 people are the ones who you focus on. The funnel works both ways also. From these 10 people you begin to build a downline and your funnel takes on an hour glass shape. This is a very crude concise view of the business funnel but I urge you to look it up and familiarise yourself with it. It will help you to become more comfortable with "rejection" (as you put it).

The word "rejection" brings me on to my next point.

Please don't look on it as rejection. Just because someone is not interested in your program it does not mean they are rejecting it as a negative thing. They simply are not interested or do not have the time to invest or the need to invest. There are billions and billions of people in the world and not all want to start their own on-line business and out of those who do, not all of those will be interested in this type of marketing. If you are dealing with a prospect face to face, simply Thank them for their time and move on to the next until you find someone who is interested. Persistence persistence persistence is the key to marketing. Now regarding advertising....be seen as often as possible, in as many places as possible, using as many resources as possible. You will start to see results when people start to see your ads more than once or twice.

Rather than viewing it as rejection over and over, maybe it would be better to see it as sifting through the masses until you find the people who are interested in this kind of enterprise. One way to increase the chances that the audience you're reaching out to are looking for work on-line and not the get-rich-quick schemes is to use targeting methods. I would suggest reading up on targeted ads and looking at the many tools out there that can help you to reach the right audience.

Finally...and for me, the most important part of internet marketing is relationship building. People don't like to be bombarded with offers no matter how great they are. Especially from someone they've never met. May I suggest that you invest in an autoresponder. This gives you the chance to work your way up to the sale through a series of emails. You could get people to subscribe to your blog for instance then slowly introduce them to the benefits of multi-level marketing. Maybe you could introduce them to one aspect of SFI and let them think about it for a few days. I always believe it is important to ask people what their interests are...what are their views on on-line marketing...would they be interested if I could show them how to start their own business with no start up costs and very little investment thereafter?

Remember...stick with it and you will start to see results. Log in daily and advertise as often as you can, in as many places as you can, in as many ways as you can. It is inevitable that there will be people who are not interested and the reasons for this are as many as there are people in the world. You deal with it by Thanking them for their time and maybe leaving them your contact details if they should change their minds and move swiftly on because the golden nugget could be the very next person.

Try not to think of it as rejection but as persons who are simply not ready to start up an online business or, in fact, not ready to start something new at all.
It is never your fault because you are simply presenting an alternative to what folks are already doing with their lives. Whether it is a J.O.B. (just over broke) or perhaps a different line of work, some people will not try something new until they are ready.
So, when you receive a no answer, it generally doesn't mean they won't ever sign up; just that they won't sign up today.
If you are always ready to accept new members into your team, you will be ready when they finally decide to join up.

Rejection is hard to take, but there are ways to minimize rejection. For me, I do almost everything on the internet. I seldom mention my online business to people face to face. However, if there is an opening, I will share how I am doing and suggest they take a look.

If you need help with marketing online, go to your Home page in SFI and click on the marketing tab. There you will find many Ideas about promoting both sponsoring for new affiliates and promoting TripleClicks.

After you have built up a nice monthly income you can approach people face to face with more confidence. Then you can tell yourself it really doesn't matter if they join you or not. There's always someone else.

I remember something like this, "Some will, Some won't, so what, next!"

Check with your upline if you need help with advertising online.

Good question

In life we are rejected with so many things so how do you deal with rejection in that regard. Just ignore the rejection and move forward, dont let it get you down otherwise it will bring you down.

Same with SFI, theres a lot of people that are going to reject your offer to join (dont know why though) and also there will be some people that will join and not do anything else. Dont let this get you down either because what will happen......... It will bring you down also, ignore the negative comments and rejection and concentrate all your time on making ads and helping the affiliates that are having a go and want to succeed.

So show the affiliates having a go on how to do duplication which is also another question in ask SC and teach them that. Make sure you read everything and learn everyday.

Remember, statistics show that people will say no about 5 times before they say yes. Folks are just naturally inclined to refuse an offer that they were not seeking. When presenting this opportunity to a cold market prospect, just remember to stay pleasant and low key. No need to get overly aggressive or excited. Show your enthusiasm for the program with positive language and give the prospect time to absorb the facts you give them.

If your initial attempt is low pressure, even if they say no, they will be more likely to retain the key points of your presentation. If this is face to face, see if you can get an email address to send them a link to more information and encourage them to research it themselves.

Get some TripleClicks promo items and carry them with you; people respond well to these professionally designed marketing tools.

The point is, if you can make it to that sixth contact with the prospect, you'll finally get the YES you were looking for! And if you don't make it to 6 contacts, no big deal, just not the right person for this program. On to the next!

It's also necessary to recognize the math of Multi-Level Marketing. It is most definitely a numbers game. Pockets of activity, a few here and there will generate your income. This is a great lesson taught to us by a very successful marketer Bill Britt. He was a network marketing pioneer.

Some years ago, 20/20 did feature story on Amway and Bill Britt. The story spent 19 minutes interviewing whiners & complainers - distributors who had failed. They showed garages full of products they couldn't sell.

During the last minute of the show, Britt was interviewed in front of his palatial home. He was asked "This business has obviously worked for you. What's your secret?" He replied "There is no secret. I simply showed the plan to 1200 people. 900 said 'No' and only 300 signed up. Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all. Out of those 85, only 35 were serious. Out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire." Bill worked through the numbers.

So you see, out of 1200 people, it was only 11 people who were active, and paid attention to following a successful role model, that made Bill Britt a millionaire. In this business, "No" and rejection and quitters are simply a part of the journey. Be persistent and consistent in your efforts, and visualize your outcome. Stay focused, and you will find that handful of motivated and like-minded people that will duplicate your efforts to bring about success. Lead by example, and Never give up!

This is such a good question, because we all face it.

First, use your head and remember that they are rejecting internet marketing, not you personally. Internet marketing is still new to many, many people throughout the world. Give them the grace to let them catch up. Do not argue, do not stick up for SFI, don't even stick up for yourself ... just nod, smile quietly, and look away.

Then, use your mind to remove the 'garbage' they leave behind - unkind words, nasty tone, embarrassing ridicule, rolling eyes, etc. In your mind, pick up their garbage and throw it out with all the other trashy stuff people throw at people.

Then, use your heart to acknowledge why you are here.
"I am here because I want more than I currently have. I am here because I believe/know/have heard/have seen that SFI works. I am here because, well, I may not have made my last network marketing business work, but SFI is cheaper, easier to work and far more supportive than the other one. I am here because today I believe in me, I have the resources (time, internet, a little bit of money to contribute), and ... well, it's my time ..."

Now nod, and smile to yourself; you're going to be ok :)

I will Quote what President Gerry Carson Said to me recently; " Entrepreneurship is not for everybody". There are those who will be curious to know more and to affiliate as you tell them about SFI but there are also those who will not have an interest. How do you cop? Well try not to take it personally, see their lack of interest as just that and also consider the fact that there may not be ready at the time and move on to your other targets. Maybe some day when you do approach them again they will be receptive.

Also bare in mind that Some people will not automatically receive your idea the first time. But do not give up, and don't see it as a failure on your part; keep knocking on doors because some will be receptive whilst others will not. See it as a rejection of the business idea and not rejection of you as a person; if you can be able to separate the two, you will do just fine. Thats the way i am handling it.

I think this question may be asked by our experience.

This is the thing which is commonly faced by SFI affliates because people around us may got blamed by some fake internet MLM programs.

Anyhow as an SFI AFFLIATE,it is our duty to differentiate SFI from such fake programs.
You just show them your earnings in SFI to generate trust in them.
I recommend the following

1) You can earn on every purchase of your affliate on your frontline,
2) You can earn on every vp generated by your team members,
3) You can get brand new items on dead-cheap rates by pricebenders,
4) You can expand your business WORLDWIDE by TripleClicks,
5) You can get free stuff monthly on being a Wave3 member,
6) You can earn upto 500$ by being an E365 finalist,
7) You can get up to 12$ bounty by SFIPPA action'
8) You can make a huge publicity for your band by participating in SONG OF THE MONTH battle.

Consider it like inviting some friends to tea. You offer them cookies with the tea - some will have one or even two cookies - while the others won't accept any. Not taking a cookie does not mean your friends don't enjoy having tea with you, they just don't feel like having a cookie today.

In exactly the same way you introduce your SFI business to other people. The timing of your introduction might not be right for them and they won't accept it. That does not mean that they have anything personal against you. You have made them aware of your endeavours and, believe me, although they might not show immediate interest, they will be keeping a close watch to see the results you have.

I was taught that in a network marketing business, 95% of the effort you put in will come to nothing. The other 5%, on the other hand, will make you wealthy. Put differently, if you have a container with 100 marbles - all the same size - and you are told that 5 of those marbles are black while the others are all white and that you will win a contest worth $1 000 000 when you have taken all the black marbles out, irrespective of the time it might take, you are going to haul out those marbles until you have all 5 the black ones. The only thing is, you don't know in which order they are going to come out of that container because you cannot see from the outside which is which. You might be fortunate and haul the 5 black ones out first but most probably you will have to continue to the last marble to have obtained all 5. Even if that is the case, you would have won the contest. The only way to win is by perseverance.
