What should an affiliate do if their sponsor is non-responsive?

If your sponsor is non-responsive then it looks like you have to be the boss. Just like anywhere else in life someone has to take charge for things to work and who better than yourself to do it. Sometimes there are persons who are very good at some things (such as recruitment, passing out fliers, funding the program, etc.) and terrible at other things (such as communication with their down-line members). What's best? Sponsoring fewer PSAs and concentrating on coaching and helping them build...or continuously sponsoring new affiliates?

I think you must be continuously sponsoring new members because statistics say that only about 5% of affiliates will succeed. This means that in order to get five hard working affiliates you will need to sponsor 100. Also, some of those five, due to circumstances beyond their control, may have to drop out. So, I am always sponsoring 100 new affiliates per month so that I can maintain my five and have some left to re-assign to my hard working members.

Which is best, free or paid advertising?

I think that the best way to find out is to track your ads. I use trck.me tracker and I never place an ad without adding a tracked link. It takes a bit of time to see which ads are being clicked on and to determine where your traffic is coming from for each ad. Then it's only a matter of using the ads where you get the best results or fixing the ads that get fewer results. Sometimes you will find that you are getting results from the least expected places.

How do you handle being rejected over and over again when presenting the SFI opportunity to others?

Try not to think of it as rejection but as persons who are simply not ready to start up an online business or, in fact, not ready to start something new at all.
It is never your fault because you are simply presenting an alternative to what folks are already doing with their lives. Whether it is a J.O.B. (just over broke) or perhaps a different line of work, some people will not try something new until they are ready.
