I think that the best way to find out is to track your ads. I use trck.me tracker and I never place an ad without adding a tracked link. It takes a bit of time to see which ads are being clicked on and to determine where your traffic is coming from for each ad. Then it's only a matter of using the ads where you get the best results or fixing the ads that get fewer results. Sometimes you will find that you are getting results from the least expected places.

In my opinion, its not how much advertising does or does not cost which makes it good. Its whether or not its hitting enough people and are they targeted for interests such as SFI, or building your own business. Before I pay for advertising, i always ask teh vendor beforehand who is getting my ads. You want to get a list of about 5-6 questions focusing on if they are targeting your demographic or not. Sometimes the free sites do this for you.

For free advertising, we can advertise there with no cost, but usually we have to do something as a compensation like viewing an
advertise, placed their banner in your blog, etc. The result is depends on how and what kind of the free advertiser that we used.
For a bigger and famous free advertiser, maybe the result will satisfy us and give us a credit too.

that is a very complex question because best in subjective to the individual. if your funds to invest in your business is very low then free advertisement is going to be best for you. if you have a lot of fund to invest in your business here is where it gets tricky. you can spend tons of money in s¡advertising and not get one result while someone might be using a free traffic exchange and generating a lot more hits than you. you have to research all advertisement before you put your time or money

I must strongly recommend "paid advertising" as this is an either or question. Paid advertising allows you to expand (scale up) your efforts when your testing shows that your campaign(s) (lead system) are successful. If you have a successful campaign (lead system) you can then co-op with those you bring into SFI and create the ultimate leverage. Both type of advertising have advantage and defects:
Free - because thay dont pay, you will find entusiastic members, who will work hard and make very good resultats. But a lot of members, becuse is free, only try, and go on. Also, depending of quality of web site where you advertising, you have limited number of visitors

Paid - difrent members are ther, and who start SFI, mayby go on. But you must pay some many, and you dont now how many peaple in this sitese are interested for

Can anything free be better than paid ? I don't think so.
Nobody gives importance to free things. Wherever the advertisement is free, there will be lot of it.Even SFI advertisements will be by many affiliates.
Paid advertisements costs but you have to be choosy. Get to know from others from where they get the maximum response.
Learning from other's mistakes is better than learning from your own mistakes.

I think paid advertising is better than free advertising, because:

1. Paid advertising assists you to get the desired result.
2. This process is a very effective process.

1. If you want to advertise goods and auction, works better advertising paid domains, however, this requires investment funds. If you have a business already brings a good income it is possible.

The best free advertising that I have been using is social networking. I also made some websites to promote the business with all the information linked to my profile. Craigslist is also a good tool to use for those out there that want to get refferals fast go to craigslist and make an advertisement for SFI as well as tripleclicks. You make a facebook page to promote the business and get refferals. These have all been pretty effective for me.
