Short snarky answer... EVERYTHING! If only because when I joined SFI it was still a very young program and had no ECA, no TripleClicks, no CSA's, no auctions, no Launch Pad, the Internet Income Course had 30-something lessons and there was no to-do-list to follow, and we weren't even called "EA's"!

But seriously, I would do a lot of things differently because the program is so much different than what I originally joined. I'm not saying it's better or worse now... It's just different.

One thing I wouldn't change though. I took action immediately. I had a standing order in place from day one. I worked the system from day one. I advertised, sold product, recruited affiliates and I made money. I turned a profit my second month in and never looked back.

If I had it to over again, actually, I could stat now) I would put much more effort into advertising using all of the available gateways and my prestige domains. I wouldn't just play at it. I would set realistic goals for so many ads per day, and allot time each day for this activity.

I would actually read the ebooks that I have bought about using the computer, writing ads, and leadership. I would learn the ins and outs, nuts and bolts of using the computer and the jargon that goes with it.

I would take time out to update my profile and TConnect Page introductions. And update my Goals.

I would look at how far I've come rather than how far I have yet to go.

Great question and I am sure many affiliates must be thinking of starting again. I was a member of SFI 5 years back and that time i missed many thing as i could not understand at that point of time. Then i learned the tools slowly and came back to SFI after 2 years. So you want to know how did i approached in my second attempt with all knowledge? Here are they....

1. I signed up and just scored 500 VP on my 2hrs to receive the Fast Track Badge and reward VP.

2. Then i just kept working on my daily actions to grab those 11 VP and kept my eye on Green line. Also i ordered the Wave 3 kit on first day.

3. From my day one i started building my Team. Referred as many as persons i can.

4. Just taught them what step i was following which is known as duplication in technical language.

5. When i came near to the end of the month i ensured i made it to EA and kept the maximum free actions possible for next month.

6. Then I became ECA and started selling my own products and made money.

7. I maintained EA2 rank every month and kept advertising till i get 5 best affiliates. After that I advanced to TL rank and made most out of my Team. Then i just started teaching them the way i did and helped them getting their 5 best affiliates.

1. I would recruit differently. I would do PPC advertising over traffic exchanges because I have learned how to control the costs better, and then receive better quality signups.

2. A blog would be essential in helping to train new affiliates, especially with some videos on how things work; and I would make sure they get weekly messages from there, as I have had good feedback on my blog since I started using one.

3. Pricebenders wasn't available when I first started, so it is great idea to promote this option to generate sales and get new TripleClicks members.

I like this question and wish it were somehow possible to rewind whilst still retaining the knowledge I have acquired thus far regarding the SFI Business. If I were to start over at SFI, the first thing I would do is avoid joining in the middle of the month. I say this because during my first month in SFI, I managed to attain the rank of GTL, meaning that if I had timed this correctly, I definitely would have hit Platinum (PTL) before the end of my first month.I would make sure I take a look at the LAUNCHPAD, SFI BASICS and go through the daily actions and pointable actions every single day, without failure!

Secondly, I would engage with my upline much earlier on and badger them with as many questions as possible. I would also try and start building a down-line as quickly as possible and closely monitor my affiliates' progress. I would also feedback to my PSAs and CSAs all the valuable advice and tips syphoned from my upline and other SFI colleagues as well as valuable information (hot gen) picked up from the SFI website and other sources.I would keep in contact with all my down-line in order to pin-point the movers and workers, with whom I would work quite closely.

I would also invest in such products like S-Builder and IAHBE at the very start and advertise in as many classifieds and websites as possible. I would also make sure I can account for every cent invested and find a way or system of monitoring my progress and profits. Fortunately SFI has improved considerably since I joined as I can now review up to the minute revenue statistics via the 'SCOREBOARD' tab. I would motivate my team through competitions and perhaps 'gift cards' when these become available (no gift cards when I joined). If I were asked difficult questions or queries from my downline, I would utilise my upline, forum and a2a to solicit the best answers.

The other thing I would do is become an ECA during the first week and in so-doing try and clear all my valuable clutter in the house. Basically I would probably stop at that during my first month in order to allow absorption time and avoid being overwhelmed by too much information and tasks. I would then wait for the commisions and payouts around the 10th of the following month before formulating my next move and strategy...

My start was slow, uncertain, and coupled with a weak sense of work on the computer. Any way I should changed the way I work in the beginning. I should jump in bolder with full throttle, taking everything SFI offers.

After second month, and reaching EA2 I should buy Standing Order and become a Bronze Team Leader at the earliest opportunity. I could got the speed and volume which can be quickly paid off.
I need to communicate more offten with group of PSA and later, CSA members, and to encourage them by example.
But then I knew a little, and lack of confidence and fear the most, prevents me to be brave and make bold decisions.

My friend and sponsor was not confident in what he does, and could not transfer me to the enthusiasm and panche. I recognized this possibility before him and believed in this business, so we switched roles. I cheered and encouraged him to start serious work. I missed the leader.

Anyway, I am very pleased with my progress and results achieved so far. Now, after ten months, I am Silver Team Leader, and I try to help the new ones to encourage, rather bold start construction work and gain the trust of the SFI and help them realize that they come here to stay.
I try to act like leader helping them in the beginning and make them more efficient.

Great question. Here are five things I would do differently.

First, I would join one of the fine coops that offer PSAs monthly, whether through SFI directly or one of the TripleClicks ECAs offering them, or even one of the fine independent coops out there offered by SFI affiliates. While it is true that you can get started for free, and even make money without ever investing any money yourself, if you really want to make money with SFI you must make it a priority to find the money to invest in your business. Otherwise, it will just take way too long to make too little money, and you will get discouraged and quit.

Second, I would not waste my time or money leaving SFI EVER for other expensive programs that promise better compensation but are very expensive to join, and have an expensive autoship of product I do not really want or need. Had I spent on SFI exclusively all the energy and money I spent on other programs for the last twelve years, I am certain I would truly have a six figure residual income.

Third, I would become EA immediately, and then make sure to NEVER, EVER lose my EA status, even for one month. I have lost some great benefits over the years for the sake of $29 I didn't want to spend one month. If it is a priority for you, you can find the money.

Fourth, I would have fully supported my PSAs AND CSAs all these years. It can be very discouraging when they do not do anything, but you never know when someone will become active - it could be next month, or next year, or five years from now. The CSAs you are awarded each month are the backbone of your team until you can recruit your own, if you do not have money to participate in a coop. Many times they are more active than your own PSAs.

Fifth, I would have spent even more time developing international affiliates. I always focused a lot of energy on my international affiliates, but I didn't have the translation tools that are available today. Back in the day, most of the growth of this business was in the United States. But today, most network marketing growth is everywhere else. Oftentimes, people in the US are so skeptical of any money making program and think everything is a scam, but people overseas recognize opportunity and are willing to work for it.

I was joined SFI with no direct goal setting. My main purpose of signing up before is because of FREE, having free trainings and to be stay above the Green Line so you can have a chance to earn prices from E365.

That time, earning money is not my primary goal. A game is in my mind and I am enjoying collecting verapoints just only to stay and advance in every round in E365 contest. Then luckily, I am one among of my affiliate-class who advances in the final E365 and that’s the time that I look forward for the future benefits of being SFI members and affiliates.

If I had to start over again I have to set up my goals to aim high and dream big.

If I had to start over again I have to set up my goals as being the Top 1 Class Power Rank, Overall Power Rank and Country Power Rank.

If I had to start over again I have to set up my goals to be a Platinum Team Leader as soon as possible.

I have immediately opened my Store in TripleClicks and start selling and advertising my product as well as getting a volume of PSAs which I teach them to do a duplication method.

I have to set up my goals as being the top earner in SFI so that I can use it as an evidence of my success.

But since, I have already here; I can change and modify my goals which are taking the challenge as being the Top 1 Class Power Rank and one of the Top SFI Earners.

Well, I actually did start over and this time I became an EA and maintain that status with a standing order of 1500 VP. This allows me time to study the business and spend time signing up new affiliates, start earning commissions and advertising TripleClicks.

SFI provides multiple ways to earn and you need to recognize this. Also, since starting a brick and mortar business would involve investing thousands, setting aside a budget for SFI is the one thing I decided to do. That budget can change based on your situation, however, it should ideally never be zero.

The most important thing to do with a second chance is finally commit! Once you do that all sorts of good things start to happen. Hesitation, unwillingness to take a chance are reasons, why many good businesses fail. Decide that failure is not an option. Ask your upline for ideas and help and forge ahead.

Be disciplined in that you log in every day and come away a bit smarter, wiser, and hopefully richer. No one can make that decision for you, but you will find plenty of support if you seek it.

Hi,

Honestly. I wish i could start over again if time would rewinds back because this is the best opportunity i have ever encountered in my life. When i joined, i doubted the whole thing and never made it to become a fast track affiliate. When i look at my badges now, it rings in my mind that i will never ever get that badge again but i keep looking for other badges.

So this is what i would do if i am to join again today.

1. Make sure i equip myself with the operational knowledge that is in SFI launchpad training. Print out all the lessons so that i can always go through them over and over again before i sleep.

2. Create a standing order of Tcredit as soon as i can of over 1500vp so as to become and maintain EA status every month.

3. Focus in one program and that would be sponsoring.

4. Start by marketing my sponsoring link to my warm market (friends and family)then afterwards i would market in targeted advertising.

5. Teach my down-line to do the same thing i am doing and wait for duplication.

I am sure if i had done that from the word go, i would be very far in terms of my commissions now. But its never to late and i keep my head up.
