Many people who join SFI do so because they desire or expect to make some money from the business, and rightly so. However, when push comes to shove, they soon are confronted with the stark reality that their aspirations or expectations do not materialise that
quickly. For some, this makes them work even harder in order to realise their dream but for others this is like a blow and it becomes difficult for them to come to terms with this reality. It could be the person may be facing financial difficulty, like most of us do at some point, and it could also be attributed to family or other personal problems.

Whatever the cause of their being inactive , it's certainly not the end of the world. You may not be in a position to solve all their problems or inhibitions, but you can at least try to communicate and see how best you can advise them in terms of taking their SFI business to the next level and within their means. For example you can send personalised emails with advice on marketing approaches or you could even send out motivational emails specific to their area of need or development. By all means show them the money and help them to get back on track! A good example of such communications is the following;

Of course you would need to back it up with a few facts too! And by the way there are many reasons and advantages you can mention about the benefits of starting an SFI Business - the first and obvious one is that it's free. I hope this helps.

I like this question and wish it were somehow possible to rewind whilst still retaining the knowledge I have acquired thus far regarding the SFI Business. If I were to start over at SFI, the first thing I would do is avoid joining in the middle of the month. I say this because during my first month in SFI, I managed to attain the rank of GTL, meaning that if I had timed this correctly, I definitely would have hit Platinum (PTL) before the end of my first month.I would make sure I take a look at the LAUNCHPAD, SFI BASICS and go through the daily actions and pointable actions every single day, without failure!

Secondly, I would engage with my upline much earlier on and badger them with as many questions as possible. I would also try and start building a down-line as quickly as possible and closely monitor my affiliates' progress. I would also feedback to my PSAs and CSAs all the valuable advice and tips syphoned from my upline and other SFI colleagues as well as valuable information (hot gen) picked up from the SFI website and other sources.I would keep in contact with all my down-line in order to pin-point the movers and workers, with whom I would work quite closely.

I would also invest in such products like S-Builder and IAHBE at the very start and advertise in as many classifieds and websites as possible. I would also make sure I can account for every cent invested and find a way or system of monitoring my progress and profits. Fortunately SFI has improved considerably since I joined as I can now review up to the minute revenue statistics via the 'SCOREBOARD' tab. I would motivate my team through competitions and perhaps 'gift cards' when these become available (no gift cards when I joined). If I were asked difficult questions or queries from my downline, I would utilise my upline, forum and a2a to solicit the best answers.

The other thing I would do is become an ECA during the first week and in so-doing try and clear all my valuable clutter in the house. Basically I would probably stop at that during my first month in order to allow absorption time and avoid being overwhelmed by too much information and tasks. I would then wait for the commisions and payouts around the 10th of the following month before formulating my next move and strategy...

I reckon this is probably one of the most important questions for all SFI affiliates. Moreover there are quite a number of qualities that will assist in our development and success in SFI. I will offer a few and describe them briefly in the ensuing text. I have chosen the following;

*willingness/eagernes to learn
*analytical
*flexibility
*competitiveness
*good communication skills
*mentoring/duplication

In reality, all internet marketing opportunities require a considerable amount of effort if one is to achieve tangible success. SFI is no different. However one of the top qualities in my opinion is a willingness and eagerness to learn. With the right skills and know-how your opportunities for making money as well as growth within SFI. Fortunately SFI offers step by step training for those affiliates who want to excel. Like most businesses, the more you invest, the more likely you are to reap higher rewards.

Another essential quality you will definitely need is to be analytical. When setting goals and objectives, you need to have the acumen to figure out how to set about accomplishing your goals. You need to have a plan and an idea of the methods you intend to use to reach those goals. If along the way, your initial plan does not work, you also need to have the ability and flexibility to change in order to maximise your success. In this regard it is also helpful to be good with numbers even though you don't have to be a maths guru.

As with any business it is also important to be competitive in the sense that you have to have some knowledge about your competition and what they are doing right - this can also help you in spotting gaps for opportunities by figuring out what needs improving. By closely monitoring your competition you should be able to optimise your own efforts.

It is important to pay attention to mentoring your downline and endeavour to resolve their queries promptly as without them, there is really no growth. You need to have the patience to explain things as well as offer suggestion where they are called for. Therefore good communication skills are definitely essential as you have to maintain a good rapport with your downline and upline. Remember the people in your upline probably started their SFI Business earlier than you did, so the chances are they are bound to know something that you don't. Use your upline to gain some knowledge and answers you may not necessarily find on the SFI website easily. Duplication is the main key to success in SFI and so it is very important to strive to get your team to duplicate your efforts - only then will you realise the true growth potential of your SFI Business.

As I mentioned earlier, there are probably a lot more qualities you may find useful, but I think you may find it useful to either have or develop the aforementioned ones.

It is thus important to understand the target audience's wants, needs and desires. These days almost everyone uses a computer, therefore it is relatively easy to engage consumers through using social media, electronic mail and websites. For instance advertising on Facebook can be cheap and effective as it can give you instant access to a large audience. I would also recommend direct-mail marketing as this allows you to market to a highly targeted market and is also economical.

I would strongly implore my downline to read and digest the marketing information contained in 'SFI BASICS' in order to make an informed decision on the fundamentals before embarking on an elaborate and costly initial marketing campaign.

I tend to use both. I don't think there are any hard and fast rules. However I foresee a situation where I will rely more on the group mailer as my downline grows. This should help manage my time more effectively.

Perhaps this is because you can actually make a substantial income in a relatively small space of time! However, a reality check is in order because people have different abilities, aptitudes as well as varying business acumen, marketing techniques etc.

Unfortunately SFI does not permit its affiliates to discuss actual commission figures and therefore we cannot compare notes in that respect. What I can say though is that SFI does reward generously for tangible efforts... ;)
