Both are of utmost Important

Initial Contact done in professional and timely manner giving importance to the time of both. Schedule meeting, Give whats in there for him If he joins and leave up-to him to decide whether he wants or not, Your presentation should make him understand that how sure you are of succeeding with this business. It should be in your voice your tone and your confidence that will show the prospect about your success and how you believe that you are going to achieve

It is not possible to have a follow-up without an initial contact with a prospect. Therefore it goes without saying that the initial contact is more important when compared to a follow-up meeting.
That said, it is implicit that both are important, indeed very important for prospects. That is why there is talk about 'more important' in the question.

The initial contact has a lot of influence in determining whether it is even possible to have a follow-up. A prospect not well handled

Both the initial contact and follow up are equally important. But it is important to do them in the correct order. As indicated in your question, the initial contact needs to be made first. The main purpose of this contact is to warmly welcome the affiliate to your team and to offer your support. Then give the affiliate a couple of days to assimilate information he/she is learning from SFI and follow up with a couple of tips to help them understand the business. I always end each contact with a reminder

This is a trick question actually.

Initial contact is highly important, but not always the most important!

One thing to remember in business is that everyone is different:
different in how they view a new opportunity
different in how they approach a new opportunity
different in how they commit to a new opportunity.

So if you run into someone that is very interested in home based business, the follow-up will definitely be more important (since you caught

The most successful and highest-earning entrepreneurs know that “the fortune is in the follow-up” and capitalize on it by always following up multiple times.
Your follow-up technique and message will differ depending on the group you're contacting. Basically, these groups fall into three categories—prospective affiliates you're going to sponsor, your Personally Sponsored Affiliates (PSAs), and affiliates who have achieved the rank of Executive Affiliate or higher.

Every success starts with effort, every effort is preceded by an action and every action needs completion to translates to the desired outcome. On this premise, you can not rate any of these:effort, action, action completion and success as more important than the other because without one the other will not be.

To answer your question, which is more important initial contact or follow up with prospect,i will say they are equally important because without the initial contact,no follow up ensues

Both are equally important. The initial contact should be inmediately of signup, for the tasks in the 1rst 24 hrs gives them a solid base to start EA. The follow-up is what will make or break you. The 1st year is the hardest, they will invest money in the TC purchases and you have to walk them through the facts that this needs from 6 mo. - 1yr setting the base to a streaming income. Making them see the bright future and we are not after the commisions on their purchases but on the fact that is very

Thanks for presenting such an excellent question in this forum. Cultivating prospect is an essential part of your online business. The initial selling points of your promotion or ads, is what will make prospect interested. It is critical that you start with the strong points/benefits of your business. After all, this is what you were sold on and why you are still with SFI.

The initial contact is very important. This is perhaps your only time to impress your potential prospect. Generally,

Without a good initial contact, you won't have a follow up. So I believe the initial contact is the most important. The follow up is important as well and it's important to listen to what your prospect is saying so you will have effective answers. Find out what they are seeking in life and present to them how SFI can help them realize their goals. Be succinct, but polite and show that you are genuinely interested in them and their future. Present yourself as a coach that not only knows the game,

Both are important. If there is no a proper starting point, how can you expect to have a positive feedback? On the other hand, you should cherish already established contacts, and it is primary. I think that's the key - or does not exist, because the relationship of sponsors and affiliates, is one interaction that is initiated by the sponsor, based on the reactions of PSA. There needs to be mutual feedback, and can not be regarded separately.
