I have personally used Skype (both IM, voice and Video) chat with some of my team members, and I'll actually tell you its the best experience, you have all the time in the world to not just explain SFIMG to them, but guide them, walk along with them, as they ask you questions, you reply by guiding and navigating them, also following along with your own PC or logging device too. It gets to much fun when you're on a group chat(video or Audio/IM) you'll find out that the bond to make SFI real for them will be felt, they will tell you their fears and you will also interact closely and help them the best possible way.

Honestly, skype is the way to go, i also even use G-talk video too, but skype is more powerful cause it has more users.

I even learned of a way to make 100 versa point i never knew existed while on a skype chat with my team.

I'd recommend you find the time convenient for you to use it to get to know your down-lines more better, ask questions, and even suggest ways to build the whole team.

Yes it is effective.
you can make things understandable to your down line using Skype.
can answer their questions & clear every point n which they are just stacked.
stay with your down line on Skype till they asked every question 9in their mind & says than you for help, I'll contact you for further assistance whenever i needed.

It is simply the best known and most effective way of communicating with your downline.

The most interesting ?
Because one can use it,invite new contacts and isworlwide free to use.

The most usable for us as SFI members?

In a short way said:it allow us to make contact with all of our downliners in the ways we can not do within our group mail systems in SFI.
Such as:
1.Screen sharing allowing us to show our screen to our downliners or vice versa,so that we can explain them in a visual+audio way ,whatever they do not understand.
2.Sending files,pictures,screen shots,even video files.

Attention: I do not mean that we have to blame SFI for not giving us this opportunities,because if one takes in consideration the gigantic amount of information is stored already to help us on the servers of SFI/TripleClicks ,imagine what it would mean if all affiliates would have to use all the Skype tools ,not to mention the extra time it would cost the support team to check and approve all of this .

So I can recommend everybody to take advantage

I used Skype first time for SFI with my sponsor short after I joined SFI because I had some questions about SFI and he explained me and gave me some useful answers. But also he told me I need first to read information about SFI at SFI Affiliate center, that I can understand better what is SFI about.

But before Skype, I used first Facebook messages to ask him some additional questions about SFI (some more instructions). But because typing needs more time and it is possible misunderstanding, we set up time which was convinient for both, to talk at Skype.
and with Skype was much easier and faster for both of us to aks and answer questions.

I also used Skype with my 2 PSA-s (brother and friend), when they had some more questions.
And because it was tough for me to write emails to them with all explanations, I told them to connect with me at Skype to answer at their basic questions and than that they need to come back to SFI Affiliate center to read what I told them. And by using Skype was much faster and easier again.

But I recommend using Skype (or some other video chat) only with people who you know and who you trust (relatives, friends, colleagues etc) and only when they make first 500 VP in first 24 hours at your instructions and only when you both have good Internet connection.

I don’t recommend giving your Skype name and using Skype communications for SFI business with everybody in your downline, because you can’t trust everybody and some people could disturb you every time with Skype and also the most people in this type of online businesses are lazy to read and they would prefer to have a video talk-chat at Skype with you to ask you questions, than reading information at SFI Affiliate Center.
Also now many of us SFI Affiliates use Facebook team groups or forums for teaching and helping SFI team members and also we all use SFI Team mails to send our downline instructions about SFI and TripleClicks.

It means, there are many ways for communication and only those who are interested about SFI will use them and also read, learn, ask questions and apply what they learnt from SFI center and from their upline and others who are successful.

I think Skype is the best way of communication.The best part of it is you can express yourself not only in verbal manner but as have personal interaction with your team. Personal communication is always helpful because we get good insight of the person to whom we are talking. This gives clarification to the speaker about the person available in front of him.

I personally have not used it till now but definitely i would get it soon. There is no doubt that its one of the best and effective source of communication.

I usually use Skype to contact my Sponsor. that is the most convenient and economical way. When I was on bus I always contact him on skype and chat to him If he is available online. Replies are also instant.
After few messages to my affiliates i sent my skype user id to them. Then If they have skype facility they normally send invitation to me. it is a very effective way.
As time is very important to me , that is the best way to contact my affiliates

Yes, off course it is effective and easy to learn for all, video chat means team leader is very closed to his PSA, I think face to face is really effective for anybody, Maximum people communicate to his/her PSA at social networking site mainly facebook or others, but Video chat I think really effective for us than others as a real person.

Using skype is a great idea.It is alot easier to show someone how to do something rather than tring to explain it through words. You also get to know the there personality and see there reactions on your topics. For some people it is very hard for them to communicate thier true feelings through words,using skype they can talk to you or even show you exactly what they are not understanding. This is one of the best ways to communicate with your downline to get the maximum results.

I have a Skype account but have found there to be four major challenges when using this or similar accounts.
1) The time zone - being east of Melbourne /Victoria/Australia limits the people 'awake' when I am.
2) Being nearly as far South as one can get and still be on land the reception when communicating with the northern hemisphere is atrociousness.
3) Using WiFi Internet access has a bearing on reception apparently.
4) People cannot get a visual due to ?

There are two other things I will suggest
~ When using the video chat services [ even Hang Outs] having newbies on tend to hinder the group discussions so my suggestions is to have something like Wiki or Blackboard and train while training these team members as a precursor to action.

~ Also no matter how good your chat topics are people need to function to think so allow for the same topic to be on two or three times per day and thus attract time zoned and active thinkers for that 'chat'.
