If you are "new" in SFI ,the answer is very simple "don't".

The purpose of building a co-op should be giving your co-op members the best possible options to make profits out of there investments. I dare say that as an even relative approx. 6 months young "Newbie" ,you have simply not enough experience.Let's say that chances to do more harm than good are a reality.

So the best help that you can offer your affiliates,is to start by yourself to study all about co-op's.Once that is done start to experience for yourself.Find out who in your upline runs a co-op ,ask them about their experiences and subscribe to their co-ops,so that you can follow out of 1st hand ,their approach towards their downlines , learn from it abnd experience the real results.

As you can see all of this takes time , study and testing and it would be a crime to try to figure out how to make profits by any kind of co-op and make your affiliates to finance those co-op's to the benefit of yourself.

Nevertheless ,while you are learning and studying and testing,you can still warm up in a positive way your affiliates.Simply talk to them about S-Builder and tell them about your experiences and the positive results with S-Builder and do not forget to tell them that for the time being,you are busy building a special co-op ,that would result in important benefits for them as an individual as well as to the benefit of your and their team,but that they do not must expect the launch before another X months,and they can be sure that you will inform them well in advance about the exact launching date.

Encourage them meanwhile to buy and experience the force of S-Builder.Do not be afraid that once you launch your own co-op ,they will follow you,...because you gave them already advise that provided them positive results (S-Builder). So they will happy to follow you once you take your start. I'll assure you that is not the problem.

However,the best way for you to fail and losing your relationship with your team.is to launch your own co-op ...to early. In other words ignore our triple advise:Learn,Study,Test and without any doubt you are ready to ....fail.

So,lets start :

1.You need to know that out there ,there does not exist such a thing as multiple ways . As a matter of fact there is only THE way !

2.Give yourself about 6 months or more(if you think it is necessary) to become a (very) good affiliate yourself.So you will be able to teach your new affiliates how to become good affiliates.
Based on your knowledge they will be able to learn in an easier way,by duplication.

3. Believe and tell them that SFI is THE place to be , if they seriously consider to succeed and make a real income by working from home.
Indeed they would have a hard time searching for a program that delivers that much of support,knowledge and assistance as SFI.Once they realize that,they are ready to follow you,because you created the trust and you provide them day after day,by example the road to follow,that lead to success.

4.If you have reached the point of self-confidence that has lead you by applying rules 1,2 and 3 ,to the knowledge that only treating your business as a real business can guarantee the necessarily growth.Then you know and can teach your affiliates that without the proper investments , there is no such a thing as an effective growth possible.
So only when you reach the point that they understand that and also they are ready to apply those rules ,only than you will know they are good affiliates.

5.Based on the above , it is not so difficult to understand that it is easier to answer this question than bringing it in practice.
Bringing us to the question "How to find affiliates"?
It is clear that recruiting good,new affiliates suggest that one already knows where to find affiliates.

a) within SFI ,you probably know already that some sponsors offer their downline some free affiliates, sometime combined with a contest,lets say as an incentive. S-Builder guarantees you a few affiliates as each month you buy at least one S-Builder,some of you uplines probably offer you the possibility to join their co-op, and you will get your shares of the results made by the co-op for that particular period.In TripleClicks you also find some programs that offer you to buy a certain amount of new affiliates( I suggest to read carefully the delivery conditions).

b)Apart of the SFI/TC options there are on the web a lot of alternative possibilities .
The basic rule is here " get more traffic to your websites or blog(s)".

For searching free affiliates you can post in countless places your ads and direct the people to your SFI landing page(s).You can do this mainly by posting free classifieds,traffic exchange sites and/or social sites.
The advantage to use options where you have to buy traffic,or affiliates is that in the best cases you are able to select some extra 's ,in order to "pre select" the affiliates you can expect. So there are programs where you can select age,country,... . Keep in consideration that buying traffic is cheaper but with lesser targets than buying from affiliates sites.

You may have noticed that I do not recommend here particular sites.The reason is that it depends of different factors what will turn out as the best option for each of us individual,and I mean factors such as the amount of money you want/can invest,how fast you want to grow ,how sure you are that you are ready to handle gigantic amounts of traffic,etc...

The only sensible suggestion :

As soon as you reach your EA ranking start testing out as many possibilities you can handle.Test each of them during equal periods of at least 21 days.Try to start each of them at the same day of the week (example all on a Monday between 10 and 12 am ,check the results the last day also all at the same time),note that your test is not necessary equally ending with the advertisement period.
Make selections based on the best results combined with those you feel the most comfortable with.Now check out if you reach the monthly growth that you are targetting .
After your 5th or 6 month of activity you should finally make a plan ,that support your growth,based on your earlier results combined with the growth that you are targetting.
As an example: If you are planning to have in month L,20 good (EA) affiliates ,than you must be sure to have at least at the end of month F 5 active EA2's or higher.

Finally, you should know that no one can make a plan for you.
First of all,nobody can predict the exact performances each individual affiliate will perform month after month after month,so at the end of each month you should control if your plan still stands , then take actions that suits you the best ,either slow down your target or increase the number of affiliates to recruit.

I hope that this explanation will help you to understand the importance of becoming a great affiliate yourself,and that there is not such a thing like just buying your way to the top,or just been blessed with the assets of a super salesman .

It is the right balance between the two, that will lead you to your top success.

We like to warn you when you decide to follow the well meant

most presented answers,which give the advise "to recruit them most certainly".

Also take in consideration that our advise here below is also valid as far as it

concerns "your (best) friends".

So,we like to suggest you to proceed as follows and/or to advise your PSA's
in the same way.

1. We all have the tendency to operate in the same way:
Making as much people as possible in our downlines.Right ?
It should be right because for about 90% everywhere we get the advise
to get as much of them in our downline as possible ,so that they can start
making money,(..."for us"),see advise from your upline , advise in some training lessons,webinars,business plans,....
So that should be the one only correct way ,Right ? ...No,wrong !

Because there is also a small 10% info that advise to work with the workers,
that suggest all the way to teach your downline to learn and to follow you by duplication,... Right? Yes ,correct !

Now ,think about the following :

-How long are you already active in SFI ?
-How long are each of your actual PSAs active in SFI ?
-What about your own progress so far and what about their progress?
-Are you satisfied or not?
-Are they satisfied or not?

and ...if you really study those questions ,you will come to the conclusion that absolutely NOBODY is ABLE to give you a CORRECT ANSWER ! Not the biggest GURUS,not the most appreciated UPLINERS,...,even not Gery,our well respected PDG ,who is giving us the best existing program on the complete worldwide web !

Of course everyone should have THE same reaction "what you talking about" ,"why you are writing here that kind of nonsense" ?

So please, before you're crucifying me ,allow me to explain myself:

There is no answer possible,for the simple reason that nobody but yourself has sufficient knowledge about the person who is asking this question. Don't you see it?
That wonderful interesting question is from that particular kind of a strictly INDIVIDUAL type !
To me it is already amazing that the final responsible to the division of ASK SC did not changed your question into a "Should I recruit my family members...".

Because it is crucial,in order to be able to give you some kind of meaning full answer,to know almost everything about you and most certainly the answers to questions such as mentioned above but also :
-are you sure you know already enough about SFI & TC for yourself?
Because if the answer is negative,for sure you do not want to lead your existing downline to a "duplication" based on insufficient knowledge.

For sure you do not want to send your children to a school full of teachers,who do not have an official certificate proving their capacities? You would not bring your car to a garage ,where only students are responsible for reparations or even maintenance ? ...would you bring someone of your family at the peril of living,to a hospital of which you know that they are working with 75 % of last year students (in order to lower the costs)?
You would not ,don't you?

So,is not reasonable to expect that you are "ready" for your downline,and therefore most certainly also ready for your best friends,your nearest family ,before you engage them ,under the best circumstances ?

-Not to mention the risks that you would take if they (not) succeed !In both cases you would be the loser.If they do not succeed,it will be your "incompetency" that caused their failure(regardless if it is correct or not).If they succeed,and if they make better results than yourself,they probably will blame you as if they grow far to slow.
In both cases changes are bigger that you end up in a "family dispute",and for sure, if more than one family member is involved.I guess you know what happens if "money"is involved?

An other thing to consider before you get starting with recruiting friends and family,and supposing that you "really" are ready for them.I mean you have enough self-confidence,you trained yourself by following the basic training in SFI,you followed and tested all the ways about marketing,advertising,you studied the availabilities with google,facebook,twitter,you absorbed the info provided in the business plans,the webinars,the info provided by your upline,etc...

-Than and only than ,
-you will be really ready,you will understand the full meaning of what subjects such as "follow by duplication","never give up","lead by example", "perseverance",...mean.
-you will have discovered that people like Gery,like your uplines are already for years after years active and successful in and with online business.In other words,you will understand that SFI is NOT a GET QUICK RICH BUSINESS (that type does not exist !),and why Gery and top leaders in your business are telling you to take it step by step !
-So when you start recruiting do not start by buying 100-s of affiliates at once,do it also step by step,recruit 5 or 10 help them and give them the proper training,and when you feel comfortable and learned the easy ways to approach them ,then put you recruiting level a little bit higher,10 to 20,...


Once you reach that level,it is my true believe that you can engage your best friends and family but only make sure that you not ask them to join you,let them ask if they can join your team and never the opposite !

I always use the video chat,talk.etc with skype.

It is simply the best known and most effective way of communicating with your downline.

The most interesting ?
Because one can use it,invite new contacts and isworlwide free to use.

The most usable for us as SFI members?

In a short way said:it allow us to make contact with all of our downliners in the ways we can not do within our group mail systems in SFI.
Such as:
1.Screen sharing allowing us to show our screen to our downliners or vice versa,so that we can explain them in a visual+audio way ,whatever they do not understand.
2.Sending files,pictures,screen shots,even video files.

Attention: I do not mean that we have to blame SFI for not giving us this opportunities,because if one takes in consideration the gigantic amount of information is stored already to help us on the servers of SFI/TripleClicks ,imagine what it would mean if all affiliates would have to use all the Skype tools ,not to mention the extra time it would cost the support team to check and approve all of this .

Due to the nature of your question ,we assume that you just recently started your SFI adventure.

Now what we gonna try to explain is valid not only for SFI but for most affiliate programs.However,The main things that distinguish SFI from the rest are:
1. An almost endless amount of support and team building.
2. A permanent daily motivation .
3. An inexhaustible source of know-how.
4. A trustworthy financial stability.
5. A worldwide proven guaranteed system that works(if you do too).

A normal, but great question !

One can only wonder why it took so long before anyone asked it .

My humble opinion:

The answer should be found in the question "why became Mr F & Mrs A or Miss Q an affiliate ?

The most logic answer should be they think "Money" .

But most of them ,after being active for some time,realized that earning an income as an affiliate is not only a matter of selling the product that pays out the biggest commission.

There is more needed than the biggest commission to make products "top ready for sale " products, such as :

- "Quality" ?

- Does the product(s) answers a general "need",or at least the need of a particular (large) group of people ?

- Is there some acceptable degree of "repeat"bizz to expect?

- What about the "reputation" of the ECA ,"trustworthy" ,"longevity", "financial stability","Customer Service"... ?

- "Incentives " does the ECA offers incentives for affiliates, every ECA should know , this is the best "Motivation" to make just an affiliate to become a Top Affiliate .

-"Extra Promotion Tools " should be available and most of all trendy,eye-catchers.

So, based upon the above , I would say that the ECA's ,who are able to delivery the best combination ,should not have to worry about finding SFI affiliates.

PS: As an ECA do not forget to "tell" SFI affiliates that your Bizz provides all or most of the above mentioned requirements and that you
appreciate their collaboration.

For sure the second part of your question can only be of any value if the first part is not only answered correctly but especially if it is brought in to practice.
Indeed, any sales guru will tell you that no matter the product you are selling , in reality the sale is already "done" during the opening of the sales talk,the famous first 10 seconds of the sales talk.
And that implicates that what is really of the greatest importance (if we translate the above to our kind of business)is most certainly located in the first direct contact that you have with your new affiliates, and that is...your Leadership Page ! There and nowhere else you have Your famous "1st 10 seconds"! There, you need a well presented page with THE picture(not just a picture)and straight to the point text presentation.
We're not going to elaborate here the plan,neither the "How to create a fantastic LP " ,because that is not the question.Let us limited ourselves to refer to the SFI training section .

This question is supposed to be split up in 2 parts:
1. For yourself - 2. For Team Members

1.For Yourself: If SFI is still overwhelming for yourself ,whatever the reason, either you are also relative new in SFI or anyhow you still have problems yourself in understanding SFI and particularly the system.
The answer would be something like: either you did not paid enough attention to really understand and figure out the system or worse your sponsor and by extension your Upline did not give you enough support.
In both cases it is "high noon" to solve this. Because no one can expect that you can assist in the right way your downline if you also are still struggling with the basics.
I put it that way , to be sure you understand the importance of concentrating yourself right from the start in really understand everything you are reading.
If you encounter at some point(s) difficulties ASK YOUR SPONSOR,CO-SPONSOR ,or any other uplines for help.If you get no,or insufficient reply,try to get satisfaction by the forum or the support team.
Do this in that order,because the first two should be normally the most engaged (remember "your success is also their success"),in a minor way that goes also for the other uplines .The forum gives you the most large group of the most experienced people ,who by definition love to help you.The support ,I like to consider it as the last way out.There you expect an answer to your question.Final.In the first 4 options you can expect to have the possibility to make if necessary a conversation and get additional clarifications where needed.
Remember only when you are ready yourself,you can help really your downline.
So do not allow yourself to be shy,or do not think you are smart enough to figure it out yourself.Get help right from the start.Nobody can learn and understand in a few days all about SFI.
And finally take the following in consideration:you have the responsibility towards your downline , to your fellow - SFI colleagues and to SFI(the company) to consider your membership as a business , entirely under your leadership and therefore your responsibility towards yourself,your family and your downline,who all expect so much from you.All of them on their own level of relationship.

2.For Team Members: Of course what is exposed under point 1 counts also for them.Soon enough they will be themselves "Team Leaders" , that is if you showed them the right pad .
In an additional way I would advise them the following:
a) follow the advise of your team leaders.They have been there ! They already put the first steps,on the road to success.
b) do not consider SFI as a competition,it is not a game where one should realize as fast as possible the most (versa)points.Remember the story of the hare and the tortoise ! LEARN first to walk,meaning read and understand all about SFI,then start to act by following the steps as described under point 1.

I personally prefer "slow"-starters that make steady progress,far more than "Road runners"types. After all,you do not have to believe me,simply ask the "hare" who won at the end the race !

A very good question. Please do not allow this question to be inspired by thinking that you are responsible for the fact that "so many do nothing".

Statistics will learn that no matter what you try only a small 5% will make it to the top on the long run.

The rest of them are "doomed" to give up somewhere on their proper road to success. This might happen for several reasons.

Such as:
- their expectations where/are not in balance with the efforts they are prepared to deliver.

- Another group " I call them Searchers", are doing nothing else then running around on the internet and do nothing else than "searching",searching for THAT one and only opportunity,that will make them rich in a jiffy.One day they land on the page of SFI and they see that so many people from all over the world register every day,every hour,every minute.So that's it,"if so many are ready to go with SFI ,we also should give it a try".Alas of course they start with the wrong attitude. SFI never promise they gone get rich in a blink of the eye,in the contrary SFI says "we are the best that could happen to you,our system will work for you,if you WORK with the system".Reason why at some moment they quit,because they missing the necessary persistency !

-The rest form a group of people where the main reasons,I believe must be located in a lack of basic knowledge of English ,because whatever one may think it is one of the principal reasons that a lot of people quit,although they can use pc translation programs ,that does not allow them to communicate with so many people who mainly speak their own native language,that I would call collateral "dammage" every global operational company should expect to be confronted with.The other part must be mainly situated in a category of people which alas figured it out that "technically" they have not the skills to work with an advanced system as SFI offers.

The conclusion:

We have to live and accept that phenomenon and praise ourselves lucky to be a part of a company that by its system is able to deliver us the indispensable quantity,allowing us to filter with the help of the company the necessary quality to continue and maintain our own way to the top .

I can agree with the answer of Rebecca Beasley, AFF (Kansas, US),where she said -one can lead the horse to the water,but one can not force him to drink-.
However it is the noble art of good leadership
a)to be oneself an enlighten example
b)show your affiliates how to make an ad,show them your examples,show your results(traffic),your hit tracker.
c)finally assist them where to find the "perfect" sites to advertise,related to their location,the ad subject,the targets,...
d)last but not least plan a follow up once a week we should talk to them head to head and evaluate the results so far.After 1 month we make an monthly follow up and after 6 months the affiliate will be able to go and stand alone.If he/she failed,it wont be their fault,but mostly ours !

Summary: Make your affiliates feel important(they are),show them actually that YOU are there for them.You will be amazed what you get done of them !
