You mention ONLY a few S-Builder Co-op shares, the number itself indicates doubts. For you to make it you must put extra effort. First of all, the affiliates you get the S-Builder are not guaranteed to achieve. Secondly the number also is something that leaves us guessing.
SFI has stressed so much the fact that you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. Purchase the shares then implement other strategies for sponsoring. On your SFI homepage, check under Marketing and then index where you will find a number of ways of advertising. This should be handy in your endeavors towards setting the system to achieve your goals. Refer also to tools like the SFI debit card which is multi-purpose, you can also use this to advertise offline. All in all, advertise everywhere, everytime and the take is yours after 3-5 years.

There are many variables to consider here. Firstly, how many are a few? Three or Four?
OK, then, and this is critical: how good are You at developing duplication among Your PSA's? Some PSA's, for instance, will not get the idea no matter what You do, and some will "get it" and stop short in their tracks thinking it's some sort of game to play with You. So, not everyone will accept the challenge. But if You persevere, I think Yes it is Possible to accomplish Your task, as along the way, You will be developing, learning, gaining insight, and finding Your way.

This is not the first time I´ve heard this question and I think lots of people think about this too.It is possible to build an income using the S-Builder Co-op shares,but in my opinion you would be selling yourself short. I use it to help supplement building my team, but that´s not enough.The real meat and potatoes come from advertising and recruiting new affiliates.There are no short-cuts to success.

To build a substantial income with SFI, buying a few S-Builder Co-op shares is good, but to get the best out of it, you must mentor you PSAs to be active and build their own team.

In a word, Yes. However, you must be willing to nurture and train your new and active PSAs from the beginning. Follow them from your Genealogy Report and More Importantly from you Movers Page. You can use the Email address provided for each PSA for direct mail. Use the Team Mail system from your Genealogy or Movers pages and there is Live Chat, when accessible. Communication is the key to a successful downline.
Each S-Builder purchase may provide up to 8 or more new PSAs over 3 to 6 week period or longer. Good fortune will provide you with at least one or more active Affiliates out of 30 or so. My experience shows you need to purchase 4 or more per month, totaling $88.00, plus the Standing Order investment needed to maintain your EA status (if needed).
You may recover your monthly investment, provided you have at least two active PSAs and maybe 10 active CSA. Both, must be EA2 or better. Ideally, you want to build your Active PSAs to at least five and help them do the same for up to 7 levels. Duplication is the rule for success.
Now, for a reality check, if, you intend to spend the time to develop and train your downline, why not expend a few minutes each day utilizing other resources. Such as, free classified ads on the web or using Social Pages, (Facebook, Twitter, etc)? And why not support the Tripleclicks store and Pricebender Auctions. You commission income can be enhanced by selling your products or other favorite or popular ECA products using your TConnect page and other options.
Many ideas and materials are provided by SFI for you to explore expanding and growing your business. Create a weekly calendar for a daily routine to cover all the methods you choose to utilize. I find a little organization and a Daily Schedule maximizes my time and efforts to my business. Bottom line is you will expand the growth your business much sooner than if only using S-Builder Co-ops with a bare minimum amount of your personal time.

Yes buying few affiliates every month for 3 to 5 years from S-Builder Co-op is quite handsome. I don’t know what you consider as SUBSTANTIAL. The point is, if some of PSAs become self active & succeed to maintain their EA level then you will be lucky enough to have what you say SUBSTANTIAL.
Duplication is an art to make more benefit of them. Continue to help/support your team then you may go beyond your expectations. The answer is YES but you have to prove yourself a good LEADER. So prove yourself a good leader too..

So the more good PSA's you you recruit who become EA's or Team Leaders the better your business will be

It is very much possible to have substantial income in 3 to 5 years with S-Builder. The bottom line however will be how much effort you will be giving to the SFI Basics. S-Builder will handle the advertising part of it but tapping the potentials of prospective affiliates and tripleclicks members in producing sales will determine that substantial income. If in the course of your growth with SFI you are able to establish a considerable number of exemplary performing affiliates and build continuing fruitful business relationship with satisfied tripleclicks member then income will be more than substantial!
