It is not a problem of how to motivate someone who lacks computer knowledge, the problem there is she doesn't pay attention every time you teach them to click this and click that, still she doesn't follow instructions because you are right there beside her. You better live her alone and let her do the tasks by herself. What is needed for her is the PERSEVERANCE to get motivated.

Someone who is interested in SFI but lacks computer knowledge is not a big problem to overcome. The main thing is this person is highly motivated in SFI, then he/she will be a good learner as well :)

He/she can seek out his/her children or grandchildren to teach him/her how to use the computer first & foremost. Once the basic computer skills are learned then he/she can start to login and carry on the SFI activities.

If this person wants to upgrade his/her computer skills,

There are people in some countries that lacks computer knowledge.I would di these things to motivate them:

-Encourage them to buy a computer.
_ if they cannot afford, then I will optin in to help.

-teach them to use the computer for one hour per day,or help them to enrol at a computer class

-teach them the use of the internet

Ask them to buy internet hours. If they cannot meet the fees I would help them.

-Help them to get enroll with sfi.

If you are very interested, do not worry about your computer knowledge. Internet is practically user-friendly and most users do not require special skills to use it. When I was a programmer, I learned that 80% of persons are users, just that. And users only need very few knowledge to use a computer.

All you really need is 1 - If the person is highly interested in SFI explain how it works to convince and register.
2 - Explain how to begin with the basic process (launchpad, alert, to-do

Let them know that SFI has a step-by-step guide and Support sections on everything they need to know. The Support tab is all they will need. The New Ask SC index is also helpful.

If someone who is interested in SFI but lacks computer knowledge all you have to do is ask one of your family members to guide you nor one of your closest friends to be with you every time you are ready to log in. Read all the basics instruction how to get started. Isn't hard for the time, but when you read all the incoming messages from your inbox it really helps a lot.

Computers knowledge is not the most important to join to SFI even thugh to run a business. Having the basics knowldge like Kay Byers said, its enough. There are so many guys in the SFI, with high knowledge in Computers, but there are lack business knowledge. The most important in joining SFI is the will and joy of being part of this big family.

You can show how you do it. You can train him/her how to navigate in the SFI's website, show him/ her what to do, and if that person is really interested he/she will learn so fast. By the way SFI site is all about reading, clicking the mouse and typing your own words. It is simple and very friendly site that can easily guide the beginners to navigate. If you really want to sponsor him/her, you have your own way to deal about it.

I would refer them to the internet income courses as they teach you the ins and outs of Everything. I am not a beginner by far but as for mete tags, hash links etc I'm totally lost. SFI offers the internet income course which teaches your all this and more!

Plain and simple I would teach them over the phone like I have done in the pass, I have had people in the pass and present that are over 65+ that said they don't know nothing about a computer and I would send them to there local library to get Introduction to DOS which is your basic computer without any programs like windows on it so we could get them to know the computer then you teach them how to used windows and the internet. There is a book called Internet for dummies, teaches you the proper
