I honestly can say that you can be very successful in this business without a sponsor. But, a good sponsor is irreplaceable. They can help you curb your learning curb. They can provide you with advertising resources that they use and have gotten results from. They can even reward your effort and support your growth. The way I see it, I will help to build the downline of my movers but they have to move! I refuse to help those who will not at least respond to my emails or ask for help. There is no need to try to water a dead horse. The farmer can work with a good horse, a tire horse, a young horse, or an old horse but a dead horse just needs a good burying!
If you have a dead sponsor, just let them rest in peace. But if you have an active sponsor, the best thing you can do is to keep the lines of communication open. About once a week send them an email with any developments or struggles you face. Ask for their feedback. If you don't ask, many times you will not get help. Everyone brings value to the table so respect that in a good sponsor and follow their recommendations. If you do, they will most likely help you in your pursuit of your goals. Build a relationship with your sponsor so that they can provide you the best support in line with team goals and your goals.
