Each month we earn VP. These build up and you will see at the top right of your home page when you log in, a detailed report. You will have a daily tally, a monthly tally and a lifetime tally. Each one is used in a slightly different way.

Now just imagine someone who has been in SFI for 4 or 5 years. His VP tally would be quite high and he would be earning well. If you joined today, you would have no chance of catching him.

Your total VP is a little more secure however after 180 days, your VP starts to diminish. All VP which have been earned 180 days ago are removed. This gives all members a fair and equal chance of moving up the ladder and becoming a great leader.

Your monthly tally resets to zero at the beginning of each month.which means you have to make an effort and work your business and thus your earnings. This is our monthly achievements and is what we work for. This is used to determine the benefits you receive and monthly bonuses. The harder you work each month, the more VP you earn.

Don’t be disappointed when you see your VP disappear. You can check your VP anytime on your VP Ledger. Everyone is treated the same to make a fair system.

When you score VersaPoints for the month, you are paid for that month. These points cannot be carried forward and paid for the next month. Therefore we need to score once again more than 1500 VPs to be an EA.

You need you qualify as EA, BTL, STL, etc. every month to claim and earn benefits, bonuses, and commissions every month. Furthermore, if there was no requalification requirement, many people would simply do nothing. Surely you do not want to invest your time and effort building a team of people who do nothing.

Reading training articles, uploading your photo, joining a2a, etc. are all very valuable actions, and that's why we rewarded you with points for doing them. But after the first month, you need to "graduate" to other actions to earn your points so that you may earn a larger, more substantial income.

Buying is ALWAYS optional. You can ALWAYS earn the points you need through other activities. There are many daily, weekly, and monthly actions you can take to earn points without buying. These are all listed on your SFI To-Do List at your SFI Affiliate Center homepage (www.sfimg.com).

In my own opinion, I think the major reason VP reset at zero monthly is because you may receive money and other benefits from your monthly VP based on the work or actions you carried out in that particular month.

Notwithstanding this, many still question the rationale behind it so just explain using a hypothetical case scenario like this one:

Let VP = hours worked by a worker who works for a company
At the end of the March for example, all daily hours are calculated and a monthly tot figure is determined.
Now we know most workers are paid per an hourly rate, so your monthly take home pay will be:
Gross pay = Total hours * pay per hour

We are now in April, so ask the person you are explaining to, what he/she thinks will happen to those hours accumulated in March. Assuming he/she does not still know, tell the person that the work done in March has been paid for and the worker needs to report for duty again, commence work and begin to accumulate new hours as a new month begins, in order to earn salary at month end based on the hours worked in April.

Tell your person that this scenario can be adapted to the VP (hours worked) we earn in SFI per month for which we receive Shares (cash) from the TC Executive Pool if you are at least an EA, for that particular month. Part of the sales generated by TC in a month goes to the Pool, so again, it is only logical that the VP sharing from it are those earned also in the same particular month. This cash you receive from the Pool is part of the commission (gross Pay) SFI pays into our account monthly.

Another perspective is that VP also determine our ranks and our ranks attract certain level of commissions, perks and benefits. If VP do not reset at zero every month then there will be a situation where we have permanent ranks affix to our names, irrespective of whether we are hard working here or went on 2 year AWOL, which will be very unfair not only to SFI but also to other hard working affiliates. This is because those that did not work will be feeding on the benefits that derive from the hard work of others, even reducing such benefits as a result. 1. It's nothing but a monthly progress report.
2. For various levels, various number of Versa Points are to be accomplished in the current month.
3. Easy to access current month's progress.
4. Easy to remember too.
5. If it's not set to zero, a lot of confusion will result.
6. When it is set to zero, it's easy to monitor the progress in the current month.
7. SFI allocates action VPs and Sales VPs to be completed for each month.
8. We have to try and complete those needed Versa Points to move to the next level or to retain in the current level.
9. If Versa Points are not set to zero, this monitoring will be complicated.
10. In fact SFI is helping us with clear system.
11. SFI processes commissions, our earnings for the calendar month.
12. If these Versa Points are not set to zero, again those will be included. The company cannot and not supposed to pay repeatedly for the same activities of the same person.

Each month your running total of Versa points drops to "0" Zero on the first of each month, regardless of the day of the month that you actually joined. That is because SFI has to account for monthly VP and payouts and they prefer to do them on a monthly basis rather than staggering the period for the join date of each individual member. It is also easy to remember that the cutoff point is midnight CST on the last day of each month and payouts are calculated for everyone on the tenth of the month. This is to help you ascertain at a glance exactly how many VersaPoints you have earned in the current month. The Header of each SFI page holds the pertinent information that you should need to attain your VersaPoint goals and keep abreast of your email, and a one click link to your Sponsors profile or Leadership Page blog depending upon their level of participation.

The second number next to your monthly VersaPoints running total is the total of number of VersaPoints that you have earned within the last 180 days+ any permanent points you may have earned at any point along your the entirety of your membership. This total is the total that is used to calculate your shares of the Executive Pool each month.

That little area on the header of your SFI page is actually a very versatile group of dynamic links which allow you one click access to not only your Sponsor but the Monthly VP number will link you to your Scoreboard page, your Total VP number will link you to the VersaPoints Ledger which holds a permanent report of all of the VersaPoints you have earned, how you earned them, and when. You can also click the yellow number next to your sponsors name to go to the email application so that you can make inquiries or contact them. In SFI, "VersPaoints(VPs)" Earned by us, each month, is the is the "Measure" for our "Earnings & Rankings" for the respective months, (similar to the number of "hours" booked at work by a salaried person!).

Hence, the VPs scored during a particular month, gets "frozen & recorded" at exactly 12.00 midnight (CST), and gets reset to "zero"; the "recorded" total VPs for a month (AVPs & SVPs) "finalizes" our Income & Ranking for the month!

Our following (new) month's earnings, start getting recorded, once again, from 00.00 hours (12.00 midnight) of the new month, and the "cycle" gets repeated over and over, again!

The (monhtly) VPs scored are "NOT LOST", but kept on record as "Cumulative Total VPs", to decide our "Power Rankings"!

As you grow your home business with SFI and TripleClicks you will notice that the VersaPoints are very important in determining your rank and the amount of bonus shares you will receive from the Executive Pool.

The total versa points raised during the current month is the determining factor in your rank, achieved level as Team Leader and bonus shares. If an affiliate does not acquire the required amount of sales VP and action VP, (by the end of the month) for their current level than that affiliate will drop down to whatever level they are qualified for.

As you will notice; on the first of every month your VersaPoints for the month drop down to zero and you must regain the VP total again to keep you rank, level and perks. This is done for the reason of keeping everyone participating in growing their business.

Look at it this way; if you had a regular job that pays you weekly for your work and you get a nice check. The following week you don’t work but only two days – should you get paid for a whole week again? No you wont, to top it off you might even get fired.

Don’t worry – SFI will not fire you. This is your business and you can work it in any fashion that you desire. The point is you are going to receive money, perks and bonuses for the work you preformed each and every month.

In May you will be paid for what you have earned in April. And during the month of May you will be earning the income, level and rank that you will be paid for in June.

If every affiliate did not start from “0” VP each month and we were to keep last month’s VP - no one would have to work – SFI and TripleClicks would shut down because no one would be working to maintain their business.

With that said: be thankful that the current VP system works so well and will pay you much more than you ever expected if you work consistently at building your business on a daily basses’.

I would explain simply why VP appear to reset to zero at the start of each month. Everyone has to start from zero VP to get everyone on equal footing.

The old VersaPoints expire and are purged from the system so that all affiliates have a fair and equal opportunity to reach the top levels of the Power Rankings.

All points expire 180 days from the date they're awarded (points that expire are shown in red on the VP Ledger). except the permanent, one-time action points,

One-time actions are removed upon completion, but are recorded on one’s personal VersaPoints Ledger.

As a new month starts the points that have been scored last month has qualified one for the perks and payouts paid last month. Affiliates do not get paid more than one month on the same points. Every new month, one has to begin the requalification process.

And to prevent people from doing nothing. new benefits, bonuses, and commissions must be earned by requalifying every month.

Also, after the first month, new affiliates need to do other actions to earn points and must continue learning and begin to focus on generating TripleClicks sales and sponsoring affiliates for business growth.

When it comes to affiliate’s VersaPoints account, the simplest and clear way to explain to your team members is through the Scoreboard tab:

Your Scoreboard tab provides the following information:

- VP earned to date

Total VP you’ve earned to date which includes previous months. All VPs expire 180 days from the date they’re awarded, with the exception of permanent, one-time action VPs. This explains why you see a sudden decrease of your Total VPs when expiration is due.

- VP earned for the current month

VP you’ve earned for the current month which includes sales VP (SVP) and action VP (AVP).

- VP earned in a day

Total VP you’ve earned for a day.

Located at the top right of your SFI homepage are your personal account information, which includes your photo. The second line shows your current month (April)/VP and the Total VP. At the beginning of each month, your current month VP will show zero. When a new month begins, you will start the requalification process.

Each VP accumulated is registered on your VP counters consisting of VP earned daily, monthly VP and the total VP earned to date. These numbers are found on the top of your Scoreboard tab, just beside the VP logo.

As you re-qualify each month by collecting VPs, you earn benefits, bonuses and commissions. If you don’t collect VPs, your daily and current month VP will stay at zero and you won’t qualify for the perks and payouts for next month.

First of all it is important to understand that our earning consists of Direct Commissions (DC), Co-Sponsor Commissions (CSC), ECA Referral Program and TripleClicks Executive Pool (EP). Each of this items is reset to zero every month. This happens so that everyone can have a fair and correct calculation of their commissions, and so that all SFI affiliates are equally treated.

The amount of VP we earn each month determines whether we will earn shares from TripleClicks Executive Pool and how many shares we will have. SFI puts 40% of the Commission Value of everything bought from TripleClicks into the TripleClicks Executive Pool. For each VersaPoint you earn during the month, you receive one share of that month's pool. The more VP you score, the more you can earn from the TripleClicks Executive Pool. To be eligible for shares from the Excecutive Pool you need to score at least 1500 VP each month. You can also earn more shares by becoming a Team Leader. As a team leader you also earn Matching VP from everyone in your downline ranked EA2 or higher.

So, why are our VersaPoints reset to zero every month? Because VersaPoints determine a part of our monthly earnings. SFI can calculate exactly how much each of us has earned in a previous month by checking how much VP we accumulated that month, and adding the value of the EP shares we earned to DC, CSC and ECA referral royalties we earned.

However, the VersaPoints we earned in previous months are not completely erased and gone. They are also accumulated and determine are Power Rankings: Global, Country and Class.

So, all our efforts in SFI are noted and valued. No need to worry.
