Everyone has its own experience to share in his/her journey with SFI. It takes time to learn the whole sytem of SFI. If I would have known right away how SFI works, its concept and the underlying principles, I would have done a lot of things differently.

I would have done the following:

- I would have focus on maintaining EA every month.

I was so excited when I joined. I immediately perfomed the Getting Started in just 3 days without undestanding the content. I was so closed in becoming GTL in my first month with almost no financial investment. I used up all my AVPs, so that in the following month, I was struggling to meet the requirements of becoming EA. I would have sparingly used my free AVP as the situation requires.

- I would have focus on learning the skills of sponsoring..

What's good for being a Team Leader without team? I was in that situation exactly. I should have taken the time going to the Training tab widening my knowledge base, learning the marketing methods and participating in the SFI Forum and Ask SC. I should have taken the time to take one topic at a time to fully digest and comprehend everything about the A to Z of communicatiing and establishing relationship with downline.

- I would have setr my goal in becoming a Team Leader progressively, as the situation warrants.

I became a Team Leader with just 10 inactive PSAs. I spent money to reach that rank, but that's not being profitable. I need to continually sponsor to find affiliates who are passionate in SFI.

SFI requires persistence, patience, determination and commitment. Have I known this before I would have done many other things that would have keep me in the right path.

If I were to start over with SFI, What I would do differently is NOT Doubt the System and really FOCUS on More Advertising (Referring and Sponsoring). Build My Team!

Knowing what I know now, this is how I would start with SFI – in my very 1st month.

I would join and start straight away without hesitation. That is the 1st thing I would do.

Although SFI sounded fantastic when I first read about it, I needed to check it out. I don’t regret doing that as I had heard and seen of some ‘overnight rich’ schemes that really just last ‘overnight’ after taking peoples’ money and time. I had been a victim of some of those schemes. While I was doing my checking, 2 weeks later I found out that I had missed out on some of the benefits of the 365 Competition, fell way below the ‘green line’ and missed out on Fast Track altogether.

Knowing what I know now, I would just simply join, activate my business and fire away!!

The second thing I would do is connect immediately and maintain regular communication with my sponsor. I didn’t even read my sponsors welcome letter when I 1st joined, as I was busy checking out SFI. I also ignored her other messages, much to my regret. That’s how I missed out on the 365 Competition and Fast Track. I made connection with her much later and she put me on the right path.

To all those who are reading this – Connect with your Sponsor right from the start: He/She is or should be your very best ally in this business. Your sponsor should be your very 1st point of contact for all SFI matters. They have your very best interest at heart.

I would initiate contact if I don’t hear from my sponsor and if he/she does not respond, I would make connection with other uplines.

I would log in Daily. That’s the 3rd thing I would do. I would log in daily and attend to my ‘to-do-lists’ do my lessons and learn as much as possible. Collecting all my due VPs and getting familiar with SFI and joining all the SFI/TripleClicks activities I am able to.

Start advertising and promoting SFI and TripleClicks. That’s the 4th thing I would do. Now that I know that collecting VPs can be difficult after I had collected all the readily available VPs in the 1st month. I would plan for that and start my promotions straight away.

Hindsight is fantastic isn't it?

When I first joined the SFI business many years ago it was much different and had less ways to earn income. For this reason I an going to make my answer count AFTER the inception of Tripleclicks which is when I believe SFI changed for the better.

I made the mistake of concentrating on Versapoints rather than on promoting Tripleclicks and sponsoring team members.

If I could start over I would have promoted Tripleclicks and would have been sponsoring more people into the business. Concentrating on the VP distracted me, like I think it does to others here, and I did not grow my business as fast as I could have.

Other than that I wouldn't change anything because I have followed the system and have reaped the rewards. I have, hopefully, also helped others reap the rewards through teaching them how to duplicate my actions.

Wow, there are so many things I would have done differently!

Here is the list.
1. Spent more time reading an learning, instead of 1 hour a day,
do it two or three.
It was a lot to absorb initially, I should have increased
my reading each day, as it began to fall into place.

2. Obtained my first EA status in the first month, not the third.

3. Jumped on the Fast Track in the first 10 Days.

4. Established and SO for 125 TCredits and an S-Builder in the
second month,
(again the benefits out way the initial costs).

5. Begin selling TripleClicks products and ECA Stores much sooner
for commission income.

6. Advertised in something new daily, not weekly.

7. Write more often to develop my knowledge and communication
skills.
The more you write the more you pound the knowledge in your
own head, as well as, introducing it to others.

8. Start a co-op, as soon as, I bought my first S-Builder.
You can have many co-op with the SFI Co-op Manager Tool,
use it.
Your first one can have just you in it.
Add others later or open a new one.
Each co-op must have a different Key Code.

9. Participated in the Forum from my first day with SFI.
This would have sped the learning process up.

10.Opened an SFI Website/blog within 2 months,
specifically for SFI only.

11. Despite popular opinion, I would have become a
BTL much sooner, had I realized the advantage of active
earning CSAs.

I could add more, but, these are the biggies.

This is an excellent question, and is one that I am sure we all have asked ourselves from time to time.

So, having the knowledge that I have acquired about SFI and running an online business in general, what would I do differently if I could start over again?

First,I would have maintained a daily activity regiment, ensuring that I always logged in and did my daily tasks. I also would have set up a standing order right from day one, even though I know that SFI never requires any of its affiliates to pay anything, ever. Having a standing order is the best and most sure way to ensure that you are able to at least maintain EA each and every month. By not having to worry about doing a wide variety of time-consuming tasks to earn your 1500 VP per month, your time is freed up to spend on advertising efforts, which brings me to the next thing I would have done differently.

I would have set up an advertising schedule to ensure that I was posting a minimum of 5 ads per day. Three of these would be targeted to building my SFI team, 1 for recruiting new TripleClicks members, and 1 for recruiting new ECAs.

I would have also established a study schedule to set aside a certain amount of time, either daily or weekly where I would choose a new SFI topic to learn about or review one that I had already studied. It is important for us to go back from time to time and review what we have learned from such areas as SFI Basics and the SFI LaunchPad series.

And finally, I would have set up my own site for SFI right away, knowing how much Google and other major search engines don't like affiliate sites.

What I would do differently, if I start over with SFI? I will be more organized and do whatever is required to be successful. I will look back and see what I made wrong and try to improve my actions and strategies. Below are some of the things I did before and things that I am doing differently now.

BEFORE: I was not rank conscious. My goal was just to earn 1,500 VP to maintain my EA rank every month.

NOW: I know now that every time I am an EA and not a Team Leader, I am losing money. And I don’t have the power to explode my monthly income through Sponsoring & Duplication because only Team leaders can earn Matching VersaPoints and receive 2nd Home CSAs shares. For the month of March 2015, I received 203 2nd Home CSAs $365.40 value.

My goal every month now is to achieve the highest SFI rank, which is the Diamond Team Leader. I see to it that while I am still in the process of developing my 5 jewels in my team, I can earn minimum 6,000 VersaPoints without fail every month until I achieve my DTL rank.

BEFORE: I chose an item with the lowest VP so that the cost is also low for my Standing Order because I was not willing to spend money. And I did not see my TCredits and MRP as money that can be used to buy products at TripleClicks.

NOW: My standing order includes 200 Pack TCredits, SBuilder, and PSAs to Go. I use my TCredits to bid at the Pricebenders Penny Auction and play Eager Zebra games. I use my MRP to buy 30 TC Gift Cards and other products at TripleClicks. I buy Gift Certificates to gift my workers.

BEFORE: I was already happy and contented to see thousands of affiliates in my Genealogy even though most of them are inactive. I never bothered to send them my welcome and follow up mails.

NOW: I try to catch my new PSAs the first time they are online to initiate chat with them. I do my best to develop an OPEN COMMUNICATION with my PSAs. I study SFI in-depth to increase my knowledge base about how SFI works so that I can effectively guide and mentor my team members.

BEFORE: I didn’t see that I can earn multiple income streams at TripleClicks.

NOW: Now, I know there are many ways to earn money at TripleClicks such as earning Direct Commissions from selling TripleClicks products; earning 10% Royalty fees from the sales of ECAs; earning profits from own ECA store; earning from selling TCurrency, etc. I even won twice $250 in the Wave 3 weekly draw.

BEFORE: I seldom visited the Forum.

NOW: I see to it that I visit the Forum every day and try to participate in the discussions. I even start my own Forum threads to share my own SFI experiences, knowledge, and story. It is my way of helping the new and struggling affiliates.

Now I know that to be successful in my SFI business, I must be willing and dedicated to put in the time and work necessary to help my team members as well as other affiliates outside my team succeed, which in turn can help my income soar to the next level. As Robert Kiyosaki said, “Change your focus from making money to serving more people. Serving more people makes the money come in.”

Really, so many things I would do differently if am to start now with the knowledge I have now with this business.

I recall that I joined this opportunity in 2008, and back then I was a rookie and not motivated at all. I stayed just as an Affiliate for years, without upgrading to Executive Affiliate status. I knew very little about advertising; and did not subscribe to paid ads; with no working free ads too. Therefore, I was a mere observer of the scheme, just logging in only. In short, I was not too sure of the opportunity coupled with my online marketing inexperience!

However, if am to start all over again I would:

1. Read thoroughly and painstakingly all the Training Tutorials available, be it LaunchPad, articles or Training Blogs. Then, I was groping; not getting the right direction to go.

2. Gather all available daily, weekly and monthly VersaPoints by logging in and performing the actions daily. I'll ensure that as much as possible, I don't miss any of them.

3. Immediately set up a Standing Order (SO) and qualify for Executive Affiliate (EA). Apart from the benefits of becoming EA, it would motivate me to invest quality time as a follow up to my investment.

4. Use all the available means of Sponsoring Affiliates like classified, social media, warm markets etc. I will write a good blogs and publish them. Besides, I would set aside a token for paid ads every month.

5. Pursue referring TripleClicks members with all the available resources. Now that PriceBenders Auctions is available, I would use it immediately to attract customers to TripleClicks. Referring ECA would be part of my monthly goals.

6. Ensure quality follow up of my team with simple but superb; exciting but educative messages. I'll ensure that I do all in my power to motivate my downline with contests, rewards and recognition.

7. Become active in TripleClicks through PriceBenders Auctions immediately. All the opportunities of building a great team through winning PSAs and CSAs would be explored.

8. Strive to become Team Leader quickly. Before, Team Leaders got Override commissions; now It's matching VersaPoints with Second Home CSAs. The added benefits of being a Team Leader is something I would never want to miss again.

If I were to start again, I would get these things done quickly, consistently and proficiently.

If only we can turn back the clock and start over again with the knowledge you have now, it would be so wonderful

I made mistakes that I wish I've done differently - but, I knew nothing then.

1. When I 1st signed up I did not take it serious because I did not want to get excited only to find
out it is like other opportunities I tried and that was a terrible disappointment. As luck would
have it, my laptop crashed - which was another "sign" to me so it took me a while to give it
another try. I only decided to come back because of one of my sponsor's e-mails that causgh
my attention. If I can turn back the clock I would sign up and immediately start working. I
would go to an internet café if I had to.

2. I would make sure that I get my fast track badge.

3. I would stay above the green line till the final round so I would stand a chance to be class
champion.

4. I would most definitely start advertising and recruiting a lot sooner to start building my team
and to start selling and earning commission.

5. I would also not rush through the Launchpad lessons like I did. I would take the time and
study each lesson, the SFI basics - all the lessons to be learned. I am doing it now, but I
think I would be further along had I done it properly 1st time around.

Having said all of that - I do believe that every mistake is an opportunity to learn and therefore valuable experience. Since we can not turn back the clock I do not fret about it - now I am just working to fix it - using the experience I gained from my mistakes.

When I started I didn't receive a welcome message from my sponsor, It was time consuming and sometimes frustrating trying to navigate around the SFI website to understand what SFI is all about. I spent time navigating and navigating to find my way around, the time spent navigating could have been better utilized.

What I could have done in 24 hours I didn't.

I was active because I signed in everyday. I did 1 launchpad lesson a day because they came in the mail. Several days went by before starting on the Daily Actions. Knowing what I know I would start on the To-Do-List straight away.


I could have easily been a FAST TRACKER, that would not have been a problem, This time I would become a fast track member.

I kept watching the green line, but didn't understand how to remain above it to the end. I was above the line for about a week and then went under, I didn't know how to climb back up. Knowing what I know now, I would ask my sponsor about staying above the green line.

I didn't know what it meant to be a contender for the 365 Challenge. When I got eliminated I was disappointed. I would make the E365 challenge a goal.

Because of these set backs, I will make sure a welcome letter goes out to my PSA's and CSA's and that they know I am there to help. I will also give them tips on the best way to navigate and give them links to the most important pages.

If I were to start over with SFI, knowing what I know now I would be more goal oriented.
