I too have no experience working online, or business. No one is born genius. A decade or two before many were not acquainted with internet usage. There won't have been these social media sites either.

1. First we need to give them confidence and gain their confidence with our personalized communication.

SFI is an online international business and we need to be able to promote it and work it online. Yes we can of course promote it offline but at the end of the day we still have to come back online.

Your prospects with internet experience are easier to promote to than those without internet experience even if they have had no online business experience.

You will need to assure them and explain to them that everything one needs to run an online business is available to them in SFI. All they have to do is to ensure they have reliable internet excess, preferably via PC/Laptop.

Unlike other similar businesses, joining SFI is free and if they find that it is not for them they can always opt out free of obligations. It’s free to join and its free to leave. They have absolutely nothing to lose.

Further to that, when they join SFI, they will receive a personal sponsor, in this case it’s you. They will be given all the training, coaching and all the help they need to run an online business. Other affiliate businesses charge for this but in SFI it’s provided free of charge.

After the initial training, if they want to continue their learning and complete and Internet Course, there is one readily available within SFI also free of charge.

If they are concerned about stock, purchases and dealing with customers, tell them about TripleClicks and the fact that all they have to do is promote the products and services. Everything else is done for them.

When I started looking for a business to take the place of my retirement checks I knew that the only place where I can continue to work (because of health issues), would be with an Internet Marketing company.

One of the things that I was concerned with is I have never worked any kind of on-line business and I didn’t use the Internet very much and to top that I had little or no computer savvy.

When I was looking for a good company to join I did not care how much on-line business building experience would be needed. I wanted and desired to get something going so I could live a better life style.

When there is a great need, most people will do what it takes to learn all that has to be done on-line or off-line. It is the “need” that drives people into doing things that they have never done before.

So with that said; I can assure you that there is no need to change prospecting approach when dealing with people who have never done a business on-line before. The main thing is to emphasize on the “free” training and support that you will give them as their sponsor.

Keep in mind that well over 90% of the people you enroll in SFI and TripleClicks have never had an on-line business.

I know for a fact that everyone in SFI at one time or another did not know anything about building a on-line business and that did not stop them from joining anyway.

The best promotions are done online by putting banners, splash pages, articles and so on but the idea is to promote SFI effectively is to think like a prospect looking for an opportunity to make money online by asking yourself in which places would they look. Do you remember where you found the advertisement that lead you to SFI? These questions will allow you to visit all kinds of websites where your prospects most frequently visit. SEO optimization should be used when you have a personal website/blog or custom prestige domain that redirects to your personal gateway so that you can submit your personal domain name to search engines which is the first place I looked when I wanted to make money online.

E Mail Marketing is one of the most effective marketing tools because that is one of the ways I was able to find websites and more places to search. So I recommend using your banners to advertise in Traffic Exchanges, your own personal website, and other people's websites in exchange for posting their banners on your website.

Now that I think about it my sponsor must have done the banner exchange advertising that allowed me to find the banner in the first place.

Social Bookmarking sites: Facebook, Twitter, Stumble upon, Reddit. You can either use text ads SFI provides or write your own ads and use them to post in these sites.

The element required for success in any business including SFI is passion and you may add commitment and a- never- quitting spirit.Once this is in place, the prospect is already had. The mode of presentation is key and should not be different from the normal. This person would want to know how joining your team/business would help alleviate his/her problem of low income job, no time for leisure and family, meet up with health challenges, ensure a brighter future for self and family, get out of debt. The list goes on.

Present SFI by the numbers and how it could help to meet his/her financial, time and location freedom. What is required however, is having access to a computer, laptop or smartphone with internet connectivity. Logging in daily to do the daily, weekly and monthly actions. Advertising on paid and free sites, bidding at the pricebenders and selling or buying from tripleclicks.

To build a team and succeed in SFI they only need to setup a standing order, achieve and maintain a leadership rank, recruit five active movers and teach them to do the same.

Keep it simple because if you can't explain this in very precise manner, you may not have done justice to your business.

I ask them and urge them to please write me with the simplest question they may have. I also refer them to my blog which explains affiliate marketing to the newest of new person in online marketing. My blog answers questions like, what is a URL or referral link? How do you copy and paste urls? How do you upload a picture? What is a Warm Market. What is an ad exchange? and this list goes on.

When SFI started, 17 years ago, the Internet was incipient, if not inexistant as a business promotional tool. It was not a widespread business marketing avenue.

Hence, the prospects were not internet savvy either.

I. Affiliates were still successful in promoting SFI, without the internet, to prospects who had no online experience. All the veterans of that period were successful MLM and network marketing business people. They carried on to build this great opportunity we have today.

SFI was born as a result of such previous offline experience.

I highly recommend that you read the SFI story, its beginnings, its expansion and its worldwide reach over these 17 years. There is so much inspiration and lessons to learn from it.

There are two kinds of people who can be called SFI prospects,
(1) those who have not signed up yet, and
(2) those who have signed up but who have not begun working on their To Do Lists and have not decided to ever begin.

Both groups also fall intone of 4 or more categories of computer savvy,
(1) know how to do eMail and search the web
(2) know how to shop online, have bought at least one item
(3) participate in social media and know how to post comments and photos.
(4) those who are advanced and have web-sites or blogs, and can advertise successfully.

All people are either buyers or sellers. That means that we all have some exposure to business before coming to SFI, either online or offline.

When promoting SFI, one should find out about the person being prospected. No one knows what a mine contains before it is prospected. A little ore is extracted and sent in to be assayed to find how rich it is. We try our prospects to find out what his knowledge and experience holds.

If he truly has not idea about online business, then promote the offline potential of SFI and help him set up his business along those lines.Determine where he is with computers, skill-wise and help him learn how to use it to do his To Do List. When he is beginning to see how it all works, then gradually take him online and teach him how to do online advertising and point him in the direction of SFI training on the subject.
