You should avoid information overload in your first letter which is supposed to be a welcome letter. Remember also that SFI sends messages to them too so there may be need to avoid unnecessary duplication. Though I agree that repetition results in reinforcement of message, but minimise this in your first letter and make it very cordial, friendly and reassuring as much as possible.

Please find below a sample letter in my opinion:

Dear xxxxxx,

I am xxxxxxx your SFI

Hi Michael,

I can only give you an outline of what I send as the first message.

1) Make it short so they will read it.

2) Introduce yourself

3) Welcome your new PSA to SFI. (I also add, that myself and SFI are here to help them
build their new online business with free expert training)

4) I explain they have not joined a 'GET RICH QUICK' business because we don't do that
here.

5) Explain SFI is a legitimate

The first email that is sent to your new affiliate is the message that you have submitted to SFI as your “Welcome letter.” You can find samples of welcome letters from the ASK SC answers found at this link: https://www.sfimg.com/Home?tab=ask_sc_question&id=987

Here are some suggestions for information to give new affiliates in your welcome letter.

1. Introduce yourself and tell them you are their sponsor. Let them know that you are there to help them succeed and that you are very glad they joined SFI.

2. Give them the basic info about SFI in the sample letter provided by SFI.

3. Advise the affiliates to begin with the Start button and then the SFI Basics. When they understand the information given there, start

In my own welcome email, I introduce myself first and let them know who I am and where I am from, like which country. Then I introduce SFI and clarify that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. I put this particular statement because I don't want the newbies to get a different idea of SFI. Thinking that they put in money today and will get double or triple next month.

This will obviously not sit well with a few people and will probably opt out but hey, at least they won't waste my time

Your first email to your newly acquired affiliates may hold the key in helping them to get started their journey in SFI systematically. It is very important to get your message to them as clearly as possible and in an easy-to-understand language. Mostly new affiliates have no background in network marketing. It is therefore essential to emphasize to them that SFI requires a long term commitment.

In your first email you should include the following important information:

My first email to them will of course be my welcome letter after receiving notification that they have joined SFI as an affiliate.

I would warmly welcome them and congratulate them for making a wise decision joining SFI.

The following are what I feel are the burning questions that the bulk of new affiliates have so I would address them first.

1. What SFI is about - I would give them a very brief rundown in one or two sentences.

2. Their role of Affiliates

My first e-mail would go like this:

Welcome, First name!

My name is First name.

I just received a notification that you're now an SFI affiliate! I received this notification because you will be on my marketing team, and I will be your sponsor in SFI.

As your sponsor, I'm here to help you with any questions you might have, and I'll do my best to support you in any other way I can. I'm successful ONLY if the affiliates on my team are successful, so please

The important thing to accomplish is to get them started smoothly without scaring them off with a ton of links and instructions.

I have seen many affiliates with inactive teams who swear by a welcome mail with 25 links in it that is a mile long. They say it's what they wished they had when they joined but the fact they are writing threads complaining about 99% of their referrals being inactive shows that these mailings are not working.

A Good e-mail will read something like

The sort of information that will get them to understand what to do first thing is what you should give in your first email to new affiliates.

If you give too much irrelevant information you run the risk of overwhelming them. Better stick to the tried and tested way of providing vital information as a step by step procedure.

You advise them to first click the grey START button and watch Gery Carson's short video. This is to provide them with a birds' eyeview of the business
