The SFI Affiliate Center contains tools and resources, which you can use extensively to build and expand the growth of your SFI business. Understanding the SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD will help you establish a solid foundation to build upon.

In expanding the growth of your SFI business, you’ll need to educate yourself and widen your knowledge base. When you widen your knowledge base and start applying what you learned, you earned your badges.

For example, if you want to earn a badge of being a Top Enroller, you’ll need to be among the top 10 enrollers of PSAs and PRMs during any time in the last 30 days. Before earning the badge of a Top Enroller, you’ll be going through the Training and Marketing section mainly to learn how to sponsor. This won’t happen overnight. These two sections require a lot of reading, understanding and applying. You need to manage your time in going through to these sections. You’ll need to login daily and read the topics under each section, before you acquire the skills you need.

Here are ways to demonstrate to your team members the importance of reading and learning a little daily at the SFI Affiliate Center:

- Communicate to your team members the importance of reading a little daily to learn and earn their badges. The more badges they earn the better for them in attracting their prospects.

- Explain to them that they need to allocate time in reading a section of SFI Tools and Resources until they learn and acquire the skill.

- Let them know that acquiring the skills needed in order to grow their own SFI business will require logging in daily, and choosing a topic to read, to learn and to apply.

You need to learn and apply what you have read in order to accomplish a goal. It is through the display of your badges that shows to your team members your achievements.

As stated so many times by so many people, Leaders are Readers.

As a SFI Affiliate and most probably a future or present Team Leader, Your most important task is to build and lead a team of affiliates. You'll have to be an example and teach them to duplicate your efforts. To be able to do that properly you need knowledge of SFI as a company, of Internet Marketing, of Social Media Marketing, of Marketing as a whole, etc.

The best source of knowledge is SFI itself. Here we have our own in-house Internet Marketing training, Launchpad Lessons, Rules of Success, Forum, ASK SC questions and answers, News and Tips on the Alerts Page, our own Social Media Forum, namely a2a, etc. etc.

There's a wealth of knowledge on our own site. Log in everyday and read as much as possible. I personally, have learned more from ASK SC than from any other source.

You can also enter into On-line Marketing Training outside of SFI. You can also learn the same ways about SFI and marketing. Just do it and you'll never look back again.

Reading, understanding and putting into practice what you read are important steps in becoming a successful person in SFI, so it is very necessary to encourage your team members to take advantage of SFI literature by reading important materials in order to improve their understanding of this business. Many affiliates do not understand the power of reading, so there is need to demonstrate the importance and benefits of reading a little daily at the affiliate centre by:

1. Making them to understand that the nature of this business is very dynamic and they need to update their knowledge by reading and keeping abreast of latest developments in this business, in order not to be operating in the past and to remain competitive in this online business.

2. Constantly reminding them that SFI announces new policies and feature regarding our SFI businesses, so they need to visit the news centre daily in order to make the best use of these announcements.

As it is well known and well read phrase “Readers are Leaders”. As a team leader you need to demonstrate your subordinate affiliates why it’s important to read a bit daily about SFI to be successful in SFI business. It should be clear to all that “Knowledge is Power” and the knowledge comes only by listening or by reading, of course seeing included.

Having said that, I would like to lay down some of the ways to demonstrate the importance of reading daily at the SFI Affiliate Center:

1. You can emphasize the importance of reading by personal example. In my case I joined SFI way back some years ago. I did not know head or tail of SFI other than that it is an Online Internet business where one can work from home and earn some money.

2. After reading & working for few months only I realized that unless I read the website completely and as soon as possible, I am not going to make any substantial amount of income. Then I focused my self completely on reading the information given in SFI Home page.

3. I started making various ‘Folders’ on various subjects like “Launch Pad”, “SFI Basics”, Get Started, Income index and bought IAHBE membership as a Standing Order to learn more about Internet Business & SFI. But the main focus was on reading the information whenever and wherever I used to get time.

4. Now a day also I read the 10 question/answer on ASK_SC. Copy the good answers and put the in various folder every day. At the end of the week I take out prints of these Questions/answers and put them in File folders maintained by me.

5. I read these files while traveling. I read more information about SFI than reading News Papers and magazines. Because SFI is my bread and butter. If my down line happens to read my answer to your question, I am sure they will all start following my example.

I personally believe that if an affiliate is logging in they will automatically start reading things that are located there. As to how much they read will depend on just how active they are in the building of their SFI and TripleClicks business.

To demonstrate to your team members the importance of reading you could put blurbs in your stream post and send it to your CSAs (Co-Sponsored Affiliates) or to your PSAs (Personally Sponsored Affiliates) or both.

In your stream post include some great information but only give them half of the details and then tell them where to find the rest of the information. This way they have to log in and find it themselves.

You can do the same thing in your weekly or monthly newsletters that you send to your team. Again remember only give them enough information to get their curiosity juices flowing.

When an affiliate confronts you with a question and you know it can be answered by them finding the information in the Launch pads or the Rules of Success it is better for them if you do not give them the answer.

What? - I say this because they need to find the answer by themselves. You can tell them where their answers are but do not give them the link to go there. They need to learn to look these issues up so they will be able to help other affiliates in their own team.

One thing to consider is that if an affiliate is not logging in and reading the provided information (or at least trying to read it – language problems) then I can pretty much assure you the affiliate won’t be around too long.

Work with the workers and give them the proper information that will help them be self-sufficient in their personal business.

Hi Deniece, the life of any business is knowledge. What you don't know you can't practice.
However, you must first be an ardent user of this tool before you can talk to others about it.
To demonstrate to your team members the importance of accessing training materials at the SFI home page do the following:

1. Always share new ideas from what you read with your team members.
2. Use web address link in your communication with them sometimes e.g http://www.sfimg.com/FT
3. Use your leadership page to point them to new things just added to the training materials.
4. When you chat with your team members, discuss some of the training materials and how it can help them grow.
5. Use the genealogy mailer constantly to inform them of new updates beneficial to them.
6. Give a thumb up to any of them that access and share new idea gained from the training materials.
7. Make it more specific sometime, use your movers tab to address active team members who are likely to bring the benefits.
8. Keep encouraging them via any means available to you e.g. handphone no.; email, facebook, twitter etc.

You can write your weekly emails based on the information in SFI. Like the Training Index itself already has numerous potential subjects. The Internet Income 2.0 is now up to Lesson 6: Links to your Site.

Then there are the Expert Reports. Tips and Tricks from the Expert that you might want to check out. Like I found this: 50 Free or Cheap Advertising Ideas for Offline and Online Marketing. This article is free for affiliate. I'm sure you would have to pay if you were to get this info from outside.

Then there are the Affiliate Tips. These are articles from our family of affiliates. Like: How to help your new affiliates get started right. Isn't that something everyone needs?

There is a lot of information in SFI if you only take the time to browse. You don't have to do it all in one day. You will get information overload and perhaps even confuse you further. But a little a day would suffice to keep you going.

Understanding SFI business model is the key to be successful here at SFI, and the best thing is, all the information we need are all contained in our Affiliate Center.

The knowledge in our Affiliate Center is huge that sometimes some of us are overwhelmed with it. Therefore reading them little by little according to your capacity to digest is the best way to do it.

How do we demonstrate this to our team members?

1. Always begin with the the three buttons near your profile picture. The "START, SFI BASICS AND THE LAUNCH PAD".

2. Then encourage them to examine the different buttons with drop down menu and find out what are the contents of the list of topics in the drop down menu.

3. Encourage them to list down questions as they visit each topic in the drop down menu and through those questions either to you, their other uplines and to the forum.

4. Give them summary to help them organize their thoughts. Example; All possible VP that you can earn are listed in your TO-DO list. Your member will put that in mind that if they want to earn VP what they have to do is go to their TO-DO list and start doing the task to earn that VP.

5. Most importantly is you are doing it yourself. Lead by example.
