When you present a “Free to Join” marketing plan to the Internet and you do not use any kind of qualifications that would help control the type of people who click on your sign-up page then you can receive multitudes of different kinds of tire kickers.

People sign up because it is free – when they find out that it will take some kind of effort like:

1. Time
2. Money
3. Learning
4. Reading
5. Commitment
6. Patience
7. And so forth.

They will quit or become inactive – This is the norm and should be expected by everyone who is involved with building their home business with SFI and TripleClicks.

You can lower the amount of inactive affiliates that sign up by placing key words in your ads that will run off some of the tire kickers.

“Start free and then build a fast growing business with small investments.”

“If you’re willing to work your training is free and I’ll mentor you until you succeed.”

“Spend a little on games and win big rewards.”

“while daily working your business you have a chance to win great prizes in our free daily drawings”

“We’ll help you build a great second income with the smallest amount of time, effort and investments that can be found on the Internet.”

I have given enough examples – I whipped these up while writing this answer - of course the examples can be made shorter and use whatever words you wish the main thing is: put small hints in your ads that will be red flags to those who just want to look around.

By doing this you will not receive as many sign-ups but the ones you do receive will be of higher quality.

This question seems to appear on a very regular basis!

Sign ups to the SFI program come from a variety of places, including but not restricted too paid to sign up programs. These programs pay people to sign up to various free programs. Very rarely do those who come from this method of sign ups even score 1 VP. In fact they often give fictitious email addresses so you can never contact them!

Others sign up and work hard for the first month when it is easy to obtain EA with no money to pay out and then in month 2 when they need to purchase something to get their points for EA they leave the program.

Many only join to try and make quick money. When they realise this is not possible with SFI they lose interest.

Some join on a whim, (probably because it was free), and when they look into the program it is not what they were looking for.

When ever you have a free to join program you will get the tire kickers that join because it is free.

It is up to you to make sure any ads you put out ensure those joining realize what they are getting in to.

This question is like asking,

"Why so many shoppers did not buy after coming into my shop ?"

It all depends on the individual actually,

1. After becoming an Affiliate and logging in to SFIMG.com, they were overcome with the humongous of information available to them

2. Some were "snooked" by advertisers that SFI is an easy money making program with no action required.

3. Some of these affiliates "spirit is willing but the flesh is weak". After realizing that there is so much that is needed to be done initially, they assumed it will be like that all the way.

4. Some have communication problem

5. Some are culturally not trained to exercise leadership functionalities

6. Some actually expected to see money$$$ by the next month and upon seeing the cents instead of dollar, they became stumped and fall back into doubt and suspicion about the business.

7. Some are just not willing to invest or "pay a rental" for their business. These are the Employee mentality type people.

I could go on and on but you should be able to see the big picture.

As we are dealing with ALL kinds and types of people, you must be prepared to accept a few and leave the rest. Just constantly try communicating with them and some will ultimately want to know more from you someday.

Remember this "You Don't Need The Whole World, You Just Need 4 to 5 Generals In Your Business!"

Why do Affiliates become inactive?

1. At the first glance as we browse through the internet for ways of making money we are struck by advertising that promise great success but not told of the hard work there is that we must put in to achieve this business success.
2. Most of the internet advertising and marketing promise quick success and get rich.
3. In light of the above I think the affiliates think that SFI is similar to these bogus internet marketing and opportunity to get rich quick.
4. Affiliates do not want to put hard work in order to succeed, which is the why when they sign up with SFI, start browsing, they then realize that they have to put an effort which they never thought of or rather bargained for, hence they become inactive.
5. Another reason is that the sponsors themselves are sometime still learning the SFI ropes and are not giving the affiliates the guidance they need at the first time of signing up.
6. If the sponsors can make it a habit to learn the SFI ropes quickly, they will be in a position to make and keep the affiliates active.

First and foremost, we all want financial benefits. Most of those who join SFI expect quick results to earn money in a short period of time as people are hesitant to invest their hard-earned money with some business ventures like SFI that won’t ensure return of their investments instantly. Most don’t have online marketing experience prior to joining SFI.
Those who want quick money will get in there and walk away when the checks don't come in sooner. They tend to fade away after the 1st month and are very hard to encourage to work the business. They may even opt-out.

Unlike many online businesses that are being promoted as easy money with little to do, promising riches overnight. SFI is a complete contrast. It is challenging mentality, physically and demands true dedication, commitment and seriousness. It is not a get rich quick business and therefore won't work the way people expect despite all its advantages.

You sign up free of charge does not mean it is entirely free of charge. You have to invest your time, little financial investment and should be patient enough to teach others to do the same then you stand to gain more.

I feel one of the biggest reasons why they do not work the business is because they do not fully understand the SFI businesses and what it has to offer and they expect to start earning as soon as they join. So when this is not as they think, they become discouraged and some feel they have been lied to. I am certain they will work their business every day and at every spare moment they have if they are encouraged by their sponsors and have other things to help them stay. Some really do not have the financial means to even do standing order which is why they joined in the first place. So when they realize they have to invest a little and can't, they become discouraged.


Some have internet connection they pay for. And this can be expensive especially if it's a developing African country. So for them to stay, they must really have passion for the job, they must be patient, willing to work hard, invest their time, be willing to study and understand the business, be able to talk to others about the business and help them also and have their sponsors be there for them at all times.

Once reading what is required to be done, they feel like it is a waste of their time and money. A lot of people just read it once and see that there is too much reading and they are not prepared to read to learn, so they leave.

People do not like spending money on something that will take time to reproduce benefits. They want to see the benefits overnight and do not want to be patient and wait for the benefits, they want to be "RICH over night".

Many have misunderstood the adverts that they have read directing them to SFI, they read just the word "FREE" and they automatically think that they have to do absolutely nothing to gain their reward.

At the end of the day people are always looking for short cuts in life, some come into the program with wrong ideas and expectations, many want the Sponsor and Co-Sponsor to do the work for them, but the Sponsor and Co-Sponsor are there to guide them not to do the work for them.

There are a few affiliated who become inactive shortly after because of circumstances beyond their control, such as, natural disasters, family or business difficulties, etc. but they do come back once they have sorted out their issues and got themselves back on track. We as the sponsors and Co-sponsors need to be patient and understanding, we also have our issues and need to be positive and never give up. Continue sharing our ideas to our team no matter if they are active or not, we will be pleasantly surprised when they begin to work again.

This question brought me to have a second look on the possible causes why many become inactive or do not even start to work after joining SFI.

I writing my answer also as a feedback to SFI management that probably we can improve specially on the first time the affiliate log in to his SFI account.

What I did is I sign up a test account, which I plan to opt out after I made some observation. I put my self as a new affiliate and see how i feel with what I saw, the first time I logged in. Lo and behold, there are many reasons that I observe why many do not even start working.

1. Our Affiliate Center is nicely designed but it is presenting so many buttons that a first timer will easily get overwhelmed with the information presented there.

2. Many of the information presented there are not for the first timer. The first timer has to really find his way press the correct button for the first timer so that he start right.

I suggest then that SFI would make a separate page for the first timer where all information and buttons are only for the first time to log in.

This is one reason I think why there are so many affiliates who do not even start working. This is validated by feed back from my friends whom I asked to join. They said one thing. It'd complicated and difficult to understand. So, I need to repackage the information and do summaries.

Second reason of course is when the affiliates that came in are paid to sign up. We have these kind of affiliates from what we buy from others.

Thirdly, these affiliates has a "get rich quick" mentality and once they see that it will take time to earn good income from SFI they stop.

Many affiliates become inactive shortly after joining SFI for many and varied reasons principal amongst which are:

1. Many did not understand what the business was about when they joined.

2. Many expected to make quick bucks and they were quickly disappointed.

3. Some saw SFI as a get-rich-quick business and were disappointed.

4. Many did not know that you needed to “work” before you can make it in the business.

5. Many did not know that you needed to build a team before you can make it in the business.

6. Some failed to realize that as a real business, you needed to “invest” in it.

7. Many were actually hunting on the web for some other things when they stumbled into SFI.

8. Many are physically and mentally unprepared for a business like SFI.

9. Many did not know that you needed to do real business promotion and actual selling before you can make it in the business.

10. Many people hate to be told by anyone what to do particularly in “their own business.”

11. Many did not realize that you do have to log into your SFI account every single day to do the business.

12. Many did not know about the strict SFI rules they must comply with if they have to remain in the business.

13. Many failed to realize that you needed to read far and wide and to read continuously in order to understand the business.

14. Many did not know that they needed to work as a team to make it in the business.

15. Many did not know that they needed to be sponsored and they too will have to sponsor others before they can make it in the business.

Dear Friend,

It is a question being asked at least million times in the system. If you ask me about the reason behind it is simple.

Most of the people are joining in the system with a very inadequate concept of becoming rich instantly without understanding much. When a person is joining in the SFI as a beginner, SFI provides all the free opportunities to such ones to become successful and earn a commission at their first month itself just on the virtue of reading all the basics, launch pad and some simple actions.

But unfortunately, almost all are interested in gaining such points and commission only and it is so sad to say that most of the people are not bothered to gain the knowledge out of such great articles and study materials to get more momentum to move forward and become successful. SFI is also a business organization so it is for us to consider it as our own business without any capital investment to begin with. In that case, at least we should put our hard work and willingness to read all the free study materials to make our business more successful and profitable. Then only one can reap the dividends at a later stage.

Moreover, SFI provides us so many windows of opportunities to progress in the system without any heavy investments. After all, a person’s willingness determines the interest to move ahead in the system and without real willingness, nothing can be achieved in life. Dreams can become a reality when we possess a vision that is characterized by the willingness to work hard, a desire for excellence, and a belief in our right and our responsibility to become successful.

The last but not the least, there may be some sponsors who are not even bothered or interested or unable to contact their new affiliates on time, convince and give them proper guidance towards their career growth in the system and often these factors are also contributing to make the new affiliates inactive after a short while.

I think many affiliates join because it is free to join, and it is easy to just click and get VP by just clicking.

Many will do all the Launchpad lessons in one to 2 days, just for the VP, and not follow through with all the links
in the various lessons, so they loose the basic learning in how to work SFI/ TripleClicks

majority of the people who join think they will become rich overnight, and when it dawns in them, that they have
to do at least an hour's work every day, and most important some READING, they give up

Some will ask in their first 48 hours : " how much can I make per month? " " When do I get paid? "

This people will either stop working or leave the program, once you tell them this is a real business, and not
a " get rich quick scheme" you have to work like you do any other job

Others may not have the mind set to become their own bosses

I think you as the sponsor can guide any new affiliate, but ultimately that person is the one who has to want
to do something for himself / herself
