Thanks for this question.

When we joined SFI, we started it as an Affiliate. Step by Step we were able to learn many things through LaunchPad, SFI Basics, Up line, Forum, etc. Soon we were able to achieve something, reach the next level leadership positions and to this day, we keep growing.

As long as we have this seeking spirit we can learn, we can grow and we can achieve things.

But if we miss the " initiative ", we will only end up on the losing side.

You can never help the right affiliate too much. Some you can't seem to help enough. So find a balance that works for them and for you. Many affiliates want you to hand them the six steps that leads to 5,000.00 a month income in SFI. I can give it to you in 1 word. Work! It will take effort to find what is best for your best. True success does leave clues but my success is just that mine. There success should be just that their success.

I've had people ask me to do the work for

There is absolutely no such thing as helping your affiliates too much. In a business such as SFI where your success lies in the numbers of active and hardworking affiliates among other things, you have to offer help to your affiliates even if it is “too much” provided you are able to ensure duplication happens in your team.

What you should do to offer help is to your affiliates are outlined below

I. When you receive new affiliates into you team, quickly send a welcome letter

In order to understand what is too much in helping your affiliates, you’ll need to consider their skills and level of knowledge in operating their own SFI business.

You can categorize them into the following:

- New affiliates

- EA, EA2 (Executive Affiliates)

- TLs (Team Leaders)

Knowing your affiliates abilities, skills and knowledge in the first hand will help you make wise decision in helping and supporting them.

When to help

Yes, there is!

First of all, you need to make team leaders, who will be able to pass the knowledge and good working habits on their own affiliates. They must learn to make their own decisions.
If they lean on you too much, they will never become independent. It is more important to teach them where they can find the help they need.

Second, there are people who are just lazy. Those people simply do not deserve your attention and energy.

I think you must have an

Hello Emma,

Let me share my experience with you. I am very new to SFI. Just over 2 months. I got my first PSA recently. This person does not speak good English. I speak his language. Since then I have been on FB, WhatsApp and telephone with him. He is a slow learner. I need to repeat most of the stuff to him. Further, he uses an internet cafe in the small town he lives in to communicate. We are from India.

Sometimes, I feel I am overwhelmed. So what do I do? Do I give up on

The short answer to this is YES. But this will depend on what you are doing to help your affiliates.

Is it just one or two affiliates that you are worrying about or is it all of them.

No one likes to have emails on a daily or even weekly basis if they are not providing useful information to your affiliates.

If your affiliate(s) are not opening or reading your emails then possibly they are being helped too much or they are not getting the information they need to

Great question Emma,

Not at all. In fact I would say we don’t do it enough. Even if we do there is no such things helping to much in terms of equipped them with knowledge and give them the right tools to succeed.

I don’t mean you have to do what they suppose to do for them, If you do they will never
learn, and they will never know how to be independent except being dependent and not
having the confident to manage things by themselves and afraid to be a great

I believe there is this serious issue that can get out of hand and this is what can happen.

Your PSA will ask you for assistance and it can be monetary or otherwise. You think you are helping this one time but then because you are trying to build your business, you not only invest in your business but allow your PSA to manipulate you into helping out financially. This is helping TOO much!

Affiliates must understand that this is an independent business yet it is not and this

Yes, in my opinion there is such a thing as helping your affiliates too much. First as a Team Leader it is our responsibility to assist our downline and do what we can to help them succeed; however, on the other hand we don't want to cripple them or give them the impression that we are there to carry the load for them. If you are constantly helping them make EA, you are helping to much. If they don't see the importance of an SO or maintaining EA then how serious can they be. Not having the money
