An affiliate logs in after a long period of inactivity. Should I acknowledge this? And if so, what should I say?

Whenever an affiliate shows interest, your main goal is to show them support. We are not bosses. We are mentors and should be excited to help grow our down line. Their reason for being inactive is there own but not they are trying to succeed. Capitalize on this. Forget past failures and let it be water under the bridge.

To build rapport, ask the affiliate "What is the number 1 goal you wish to achieve in the next 30 days with your SFI business?" They will tell you most

By all means, you should acknowledge the logging in of your affiliate after a long period of inactivity. This shows your passion, your belief in SFI’s sponsoring and duplication and your willingness to build your team and expand your network.

Now comes the most important part, the re-engaging of your long inactive affiliates. Your initial reaction and the choice of words to your affiliate play an important role in forming his/her impression of how SFI is performing in the network marketing

Yes it is both ethical and professional to acknowledge this because it conveys a good intent to assist and welcome the affiliate back to your team.

What you should say actually depends on the circumstances resulting to inactivity and your perception of the affiliate where possible, but generally you may include the following in what you say:

Yes, you should acknowledge this. In fact I have found it to be a great way to actually get one of my team to reply to me.

The first thing I do is send them an E-Card, here is an example of one I recently sent out,

“Welcome back, (name).
SFI is definitely worth checking out again. This time I hope you decide to "give it a go" by consistently logging in and doing the 12 daily tasks. If I can help you, please let me know.”

You certainly should. Whenever an inactive affiliate becomes active, it is welcome, and you should behave accordingly. First of all, send him an e-card, that he knew that you follow what is going on in your downline.

First of all, I think it's important and to what extent he has become active. Not enough to make just a few points, it is necessary to observe the daily routine, whether daily logs, it shows interest and commitment.

Well a good question and I am a living proof of the same.

My advice to you is Definitely YES. "You should not only acknowledge or welcome them back but you should go all out to motivate as well to boost up their confidence levels". Check their ledger from time to time and give them quick tips on what can be done further.

Just tell them that they are welcome back and that you will always be available to assist in every way possible.

Of course you should acknowledge them JOYFULLY! Welcome them back, but be careful that you do not refer to any problems that could be beyond their control. You may say something like: "Welcome back. I/we are happy to see you again and want you to know we are still here for you and will do anything we can to help you."
If they have been gone for several months without logging in, you might want to spend little more time bringing them up-to-date with all of the new things

1. Well, this is a familiar issue which most of us in SFI have experienced.
I cannot vouch the same for others, but this is how I go about addressing this pleasant and surprising change of attitude of my PSA/CSA.
2. Once, I see the name of this old PSA of mine pop up in the movers list,I shoot out a congrats /welcome E-card, welcoming him back & complementing him for his decision to re-activate himself.

Yes Ovidio, In my opinion with out a doubt. There are
a lot of factors an affiliate leave after a short or
long time in the business and suddenly decide to come back.

- Probably didn't understand the business.
- May not have enough help from up line.
- May not the right time due to personal reason
- May not be what he/she thought to be and also
- Didn't earn enough income as easy as he/she thought.

Absolutely, positively acknowledge them

1) offer your support and welcome them to your team
2) Check out where they were in the business before they disappeared - find out what steps they might have missed on their "To Do List" and Launch Pad the first go around - point out the steps they still need to take if they haven't done them already (Keep it short and simple)
3) Introduce what is new in the business since they left (new games, etc.) (Keep it brief)
