If you place many ads, KEY Code tracking is ESSENTIAL! I just finished a campaign where I placed 3 different ads in EVERY STATE of the US. I used the following system:

3101 for a TripleClicks ad in Alabama; 4101 for an SFI sponsoring ad for my own co-op; and 5101 for a group co-op I belong to.

Then I used 3102, 4102, and 5102 for Alaska, 3103, 4103,and 5103 for the next state and so until I finished all of the states.

When the replies start coming in, I will know at a glance which AD list, which state, and EXACTLY which ad the response came from, so I can accurately tell how effective the campaign was.

Our best tip to new PSAs the value of communication. We cannot emphasize enough its importance. We feel so strongly about that, we include our own quotation EVERY MONTH in the Stream and have sent several weekly messages about its importance. It is included in the text of our Leadership Page and often in the body of personal messages and e-cards. In short, we try to put it in front of our team as often as possible.
We often see someone else speaking about the importance of communication but have never seen any “Tip of the Day” concerning it. And we are even more surprised SFI doesn’t stress it as often as we think it should.
We believe it is so important, we begin our first message to ALL new PSAs (even if they are from predominately English speaking countries), like this: “Hi, ~FIRSTNAME~, If you are not comfortable with English, we encourage you to become familiar with GOOGLE TRANSLATE. SFI has provided a link to it at the bottom of nearly every SFI page.
We then explain how to use it and encourage them to feel free sending us their communications in their native language and we will use it when we get their messages. We also send all personal messages to them (e-mail and e-card) in both the language they indicated in their profile AND English for the first few months and often look up the official language of their country and use that until they indicate to me they are comfortable with English.
Then we introduce ourselves and begin to try form a relationship with them.

Choosing to sponsor PSAs or PRMs mostly depends on your financial situation. PRMs are recruited for one main reason to buy Triple Clicks products. If you get many PRMs and even if they each just buy a few products, that 45% commission can really add up, and especially if they like them enough to set up a standing order. You now have made a one-time sale that can give you long term income. Now, if they have a standing order, it is highly likely they will also buy other things and thus your commissions are greater.
But the biggest advantage of recruiting PRMs is that if they are liking and buying the products, it is sooo much easier to say to them, “OK, so now you know the products are good, and the company is real and you hve seen that there is real income potential here, why don’t you just become an SFI Affiliate and start building your own group? You are already buying enough that only a few sales that you will soon make will take care of the purchase/sales VPs you need to become a Team Leader and then you will only need a few Action VPs.
On the other hand, if you sponsor new PSAs like crazy and build a large team quickly, the possibility of getting people to buy the NMP will give you a fair indication of whether or not they are serious. If they are willing to invest that $20.00 within the first 10 days of joining SFI, you can pretty much be assured they are the people you really need to invest your time in because they will be your leaders!

Hi, there and welcome to Ask SC.
When I joined SFI, I was so excited about everything that I just wanted to do EVERYTHING, but soon realized I really had too little knowledge to do anything well so I decided the best thing for me was to start slowly, so I bought a single subscription to the S-Builder and while waiting for the first new PSAs, I read everything I could find about becoming an “Awesome Sponsor”. Then, when they started coming, I got to practice my communication skills, using e-cards, modifying the default PSA greeting and the follow up letter in the PSA and CSA profile snapshots and sending group Team Mail messages/e-mails through genealogy.
Then when I felt comfortable about those things, I started with a 10 pack of PSAs To Go, then put that on Standing order. My next step, was to start buying larger groups of new PSAs from ECAs until I found one I liked. Finally, I set up a FREE co-op for my team that I could use new PSAs as contest prizes or awards for achieving certain goals.
So, you see, they can both be important to team building, but it mostly is determined by your comfort level and confidence in your own abilities.

I really don't believe any one should "rely" on their sponsor, So far as we are concerned, a sponsor is no more than the person that introduced us to SFI.

Many "sponsors" have not yet been involved with SFI long enough themselves to be knowledgeable enough to be able to serve as a "MENTOR" so their knowledge about SFI is questionable at best.

Through the years,Gery and his team have put together (and continue to improve) a system unsurpassed in online marketing. The fact that he (we,they) continue to improve this program should tell anyone SFI is here to stay and that it is a program so well designed that the best advice (perhaps the only acceptable advice) comes from Gery himself.

We also cannot say there are no REALLY GREAT sponsors out there that truly do make a difference to those people in their down-line. Those are the few and far between that truly guide, assist, and mentor their down-line and they cannot be honored enough, but in general, we say there is enough printed material (all of which is free) from SFI, that nobody really NEEDS a sponsor.

Choosing A2A friends can be VERY disturbing or upsetting because there are SO MANY people in SFI that would be great choices for anyone.

I use primarily 3 or 4 criteria but wish I didn't need to limit to only 10.

So far, I have not yet replaced anyone of the 10 I have chosen, although that has prevented me from adding several I would have liked to add.

But the criteria I use are:

(1) People that I believe have shown their grasp of the SFI business through their answers to questions posted in the Forum.

(2) People of STL rank or above

(3) People from parts of my home country near my former location.

(4) People that live in the country I now live

(5) If possible, Sponsors of my CSAs.

So far as this is concerned. I would like to see a separate section or new classification so I could seek advice or offer suggestions to my CSAs' sponsors.

The only thing you can ensure in SFI is that you are doing the very best you can in everything you do.
In any kind of internet marketing you can only expect about a 2% response. The Gift cards CAN significantly raise that percentage because (1) if you already know the people you give a card to, they will thank you after they have logged in and had a chance to look around in Triple clicks, (2) if you don't know them well when you hand them a gift card, see No. (1) above and (3) if you don't know them and gave them the card electronically, you will know they have redeemed the card when you see their name in your PRM List AND in the size of your commission checks because when they get into TripleClicks, they will often buy SOMETHING.

If they are NOT used and you have their e-mail address, you could send them a short note explaining that they are missing out on some really great things by not redeeming the FREE gift you gave them but in NO WAY can you put any pressure on them. You must keep the 1 and ONLY 1 reminder that you gave them something valuable and it costs them nothing to use very light and friendly. Again, I emphasize, you should not remind them more than once you gave them a FREE gift and that they are under NO OBLIGATION to use it and that you will NOT CONTACT them again unless they want you to.

Of course you should acknowledge them JOYFULLY! Welcome them back, but be careful that you do not refer to any problems that could be beyond their control. You may say something like: "Welcome back. I/we are happy to see you again and want you to know we are still here for you and will do anything we can to help you."
If they have been gone for several months without logging in, you might want to spend little more time bringing them up-to-date with all of the new things in SFI such as the News Blog or the new games in TripleClicks.
If you feel like you should say something about their absence, be VERY careful about what you say unless they have told you why they were leaving or why they left. We do not know what made their circumstances what they were so we must be careful not to offend them or bring up a tragedy.
The most important thing is to make them feel as if they were TRULY missed and that above all else, we are VERY HAPPY they have come back!

It is absolutely not necessary to have a credit card! I am certain many team leaders do not. There are many, many ways a Standing Order can be paid for without a credit card, among which is getting their own Payoneer Master Card which is not a credit but a Debit card from which they can withdraw cash or pay for their standing orders or use it at any store that accepts Master Card anywhere in the world.
It may also be possible for them to simply go to their bank, open a savings or checking or savings account AND many banks also have debit card accounts available that are linked to VISA or MASTER CARD. By using one of these accounts, they can use that card like a "credit card" except the owner of that kind of account MUST have enough money in the account to pay for any purchases they wish to make using that card. Because it is
"linked" to Visa or Master Card, it also has all of the protections available to credit card holders without the fees and interest charges carried by many credit cards. The only important thing about getting a "debit card account" from a bank is that--the account needs to have that Visa or Master Card symbol to make it recognizable world wide.
The final (and I consider the least desirable) is to go online, and find one of the many companies that offer "Secured Credit Card" accounts. These work by applying for a credit card after opening a savings account that becomes the security for the credit card. For example, if someone opens an account with $500.00, their credit limit is then $500.00. The advantage of this type of account is that it will (in time) aid your credit score and usually pays a little interest on the savings and if you add to the amount in your savings account, your credit limit will also be raised to a corresponding (or occasionally) to a slightly higher amount.
The disadvantages are that they usually have pretty high fees and interest rates connected to them.

So many people say they are here to earn money and some even measure their success by that.
But I believe the only REAL way to measure is success is if you can answer this question with a FORCEFUL and resounding Yes. That question is "Did I and how many people did I truly help today?"

I cannot say how many times I have seen in SFI Forum posts, "You will get everything you want IF you help enough people get everything they want!"
