Who is the better demographic to target in my ads? Retired persons...or homemakers?

This is a good question.

Referring for better demographic target in your ads is also important considering that the main objective of your ads are to entice people to join your team in SFI.

Your ads demographic target should not only limit and focus on certain category, e.g. retired persons but also includes those persons who just stayed at home or just create an age bracket from 18 to 70 years old.

Hi,

as my experience retired person are better demographic for ads because they can give time to read an magazine, news paper, jogging, read display board, to read street display advertisement.
here is how they can targeted by your ads.

Magazine : 70 % Retired persons love to read magazine every day.

News Paper : 90 % retired persons have habit to read news paper every day.

jogging : 50 % retired person want to maintain physic. so you can display

Interesting question.

I am a homemaker and yes I am on a very tight budget but I do have a standing order with TripleClicks. weather they are homemakers or retired people everyone can order at TripleClicks because it is their store. But choose to get versa points the hard way.

The retired person may also be in the same boat as the homemaker because of their income. But yes they are a little more experienced than some homemakers. Depending on their background in business or

After reading all the answers to your question. I can only say that either one of those two demographics are the better. It depends on who you can communicate better with. Which section do you fit into, because you can word your adverts according to your own needs.

You, of course, cannot use the same advert for both and they are on opposite ends of the timeline. The retirees are looking for something to do and maybe subsidize their pension income. The homemakers on the other hand are looking

I would recommend that you shouldn't pre judge anyone based on a demographic. I would recommend targeting everyone. I have a PSA that is retired and another that is a home maker. Both are great PSAs with a standing order and both are creating a successful business. If I had targeted only one of these groups, I would have missed out on the other one. In my opinion, Both play the equal roll to get targeted - Retired Persons and the Home Makers. Let's study them individually.

Retired Persons :

1. Earned income before retirement - So,will be eager to earn income from home.
2. Feeling distressed without work - So,will be happy to do leisure work from home.
3. May be left alone without company - So,will be ready to communicate through work(Apparently SFI).

This is a great question! In my opinion it is best to target both.

Retired persons tend to have a lot of free time and they don't know what to do with it. Also they have been accostumed to being the one that brings in the money. They are always looking for a job or a business on which they can do all of those things.

Homemakers (like me) are always looking for ways to earn to support their families, they don't want to be the ones who do nothing! (Believe me I know!). This are

The word demographic if used as a singular noun is described as follows. (Business) In business, a demographic is a group of people in a society, especially people in a particular age group.

So to answer your question. Retired persons in this case fit the bill. Home maker? I am not sure what you mean by a Home Maker. Are they house wives, house husbands, students working from home, people with a current home business.

In my view Homemakers are better targets for advertising. Although it will depend on which country you live in or in which country you want to advertise.

I have come across so many classified ads put up by home makers looking for home based part time jobs or business in my country. Relatively very few retired persons have advertised in classifieds for earning opportunities after retirement.

Homemakers these days are internet literate. So they can start from day one. Retired
