I believe that everyone got their own talent. Some may be born a leader and some don't, BUT not every Leader was born with the privilege.

The most important thing is are you really want to success in your business? If the answer is YES, then LEARN is the key word. You need to learn how to be a Leader.

Some information on how you could be a leader already provided by SFI and that is DUPLICATION.

Duplicate what your Sponsor and Co-Sponsor do on how to be a good Leader like sending newsletter, giving tips, make contest and so on.

Start building your ability as a leader by reading SFI rules of Success about leadership and you could always buy some books about Leadership from TripleClicks or other sources. You could also join IAHBE and other programs to learn and build your leadership ability and remember to never give up. Good luck.

Let us understand that no body in this world is born leader, The environment, Culture, Teachings, Influence of media, etc are the few main sources which makes us the leaders.

Every person should get a right stage or an opportunity to become a leader. Don't you think we are blessed or lucky enough to have SFI, that makes us the leaders.

At SFI we start as affiliates (Team members) and learn many things by lessons, forum,Launchpad, or from A2A friends. All these were taught by SFI in stages. After learning SFI guides us to duplicate or pass it to other sponsored person,wherein it makes sure you have automatically qualified as leader. Hats off and thanks to SFI for providing such beautiful and great opportunity to all we individuals irrespective of our religion, cast or origin.

There is saying that readers are leaders. This simply means those that are thought or assume to be a born leaders are just opportune to be guided by the knowledge of leading either through reading or learning from past mistakes of some leaders. Sfi is full of awesome tools and resources that can help you become a successful leader the first on the list is to lead by example. Whatever it is you intend your affiliates doing must first be done by you since your affiliates can easily access your leadership page. So, if they see you doing it they too will duplicate your effort. Again, you have your up line to relate with and seek for their opinion if there is need to do so. You may regard this aspect as consult colleague. Study the ski success rules and make sure you abide by it. Visit the forum and ask question page regularly to view quality opinion and strategies to run your business. Sfi also have some ready made guide and inspirational written gathered from successful affiliates. You can read and gain more from their rich and wealthy experiences. If you are not satisfied you can put up a support ticket for more ways. Leaders are simply readers. I hope this helps.

In SFI we preach duplication, duplication and more duplication. We become leaders by doing what we have learned from those who lead us, and then by recruiting our own teams.

There are many pre written emails available that you can use to send out to your team. You can also take these emails as a basis for new ones by rewriting them in your own words.

Just look at what your leaders are doing and copy what they are doing and relay that to your own team in your own words.

I have been reading the answers here so far and most people are saying the same thing that I'm about to say, but missing one vital point.

When most people think of the word 'leader', there is a responsibility tied to that word that panics a lot of people. We expect a leader to be strong, bold, and be able to solve problems instantly. All these are admirable properties, and anyone possessing those qualities here in SFI would be a fantastic leader. But many of us just starting out don't possess the confidence in ourselves at the start to live up to what we define (incorrectly) as a leader.

Instead of worrying about whether we are a born leader, why not simply change your perspective and put yourself in the role of a guide? We can guide our team through the maze of information here in SFI. Guide your team through the issues that you have faced and are facing.

If you remove the word leader and replace it with guide, much of the stress of the position is taken off. Then, we can get to the important part. That is educating your team and building duplication. All this by simply guiding.

There's no doubt that some people are born with natural leadership qualities, but they still need to develop and refine those skills. Many other people are not what they would call 'born leaders', but through opportunity, training and coaching become good and effective leaders. A few people have no interest at all in leading anyone in any situation, but I think they are rare!

I'm guessing that you are not in that last category otherwise you'd have no interest in asking your question! I'm guessing that you don't feel like a leader, but have that desire in your heart, to build a team for your own success and for those who will be part of your team. If that is you then be encouraged! SFI is the Best setup system I've ever seen both for new affiliates to learn the system and start building their business, and to help you build and lead your own team! If you follow the training through the SFI BASICS and the LAUNCHPAD, read and learn as much as you can through the FORUM and ASK SC, concentrating on any leadership questions and training, then put it into practice, I'm sure you'll become a fantastic leader.

Natural 'born' leaders sometimes take their abilities for granted and don't put any effort into being the best. Those who have to work harder at leadership often make great leaders because they understand how hard it can be and probably have more experience of persevering through to build skills that don't come naturally to them.

So be encouraged, and go for it! Hoping to see you at the top of the leader boards soon!

And that is where SFI excels above most I have seen.

I'm sure you will agree that Gery Carson, SFI founder and inspirational leader has to be a born leader. And he has put together one of the best leadership training modules I've seen on the internet.

So if you are not one of those 'born leaders' that we would all 'love' to be, then commit yourself to read, study, ponder on and regularly review all the fabulous training material that SFI makes freely available to all of us.

Most of the training material is on leadership and success. That's the true mark of any great leader, and Gery has to be right up there with the very best of them.

True leaders do not produce followers: True leaders just keep producing more true leaders.

Hi Gabriela,

Let me first thank and congratulate you. I have had the same question raised by a lot of people,some who are willing to join and some who have joined lately as PSAs to one of my friend.

I can, without doubt, answer in affirmative. You just do not need to be a born leader, although at the same time I must say, being a born leader definitely helps. Let me show you the same with a small example. Below mentioned qualities would be required to excel as leader in SFI.

1) Sound Knowledge of the various process and procedures.
2) Good interactive skills
3) Team building and leading from the front.
4) Believing that you cannot do it alone.
5) You cant be stuck when faced with a demanding situation.
6) Follow the most important rule that there are no rules that make an excellent leader.

Now getting the qualities 1,2 and 3 can be difficult but if one has the will power, the learning resources at SFI are enough to build the qualities in an individual.

For qualities 4, one needs to understand that he can only achieve the goals set, if he has proper support.Thus trying it all alone can put him into unwanted situations, and he may actually end up losing.
For point number 5, he has to just tell himself that he cannot back out, what ever the situation may be, willingness to help is required to attain the quality goal.
For point 6, well that is the essence of all the rules, you just cannot set pre set and pre defined rules if you want to excel as a leader. A leader must try to develop, be innovative and come up with game changing ways.

Let me assure you that whatever i have mentioned is there in some form or the other in the trainings. Thus would say one thing, Read and understand and you will definitely be a leader.

Wow what a statement I would say that we all can certainly be great SFI team leaders even though nobody is ever born to be one I would say that these qualities can make you a better team leader :

Always set a good example and role model , be easily accessible and readily available not forgetting to regularly touch base and build up good relationship with your downline , encourage , motivate , guide , mentor , lend a listening ear and offer to help and support those who are receptive , keen and hungry to succeed as it takes two hands to clap and succeed .
