As a new affiliate you should NOT allow yourself to go below the green line for the E365 contest. This will result in big disappointment and big loss.

E365 is a challenge in which you compete with every other SFI affiliate who joined SFI the same day you did. The idea is to outlast them all and, on your 365th day in SFI, be named the champion of your class—an Entrepreneur 365 Champion! The contest is divided into six rounds. The first five rounds are six days each (a total of 30 days). The sixth and final round takes place from your 31st day in SFI until your 365th day (335 total days).

Each time you advance to a new round, you are guaranteed to receive at least one prize, awarded immediately. Prizes get bigger with each subsequent round. All of the first five rounds use the same simple rule: Stay above "the green line" and you advance to the next round.

In your first 30 days with SFI, you'll find the "green line" on the E365 Leaderboard. It displays the MEDIAN number of VersaPoints scored by all the members of your class to date that are still in the contest. To advance to the next round, you simply need to score more points than the median (i.e. be above the green line).

As an E365 Champion, you'll receive special corporate recognition, a spot on the E365 "hall of fame" Website, bragging rights, and a handsome plaque for your office wall to commemorate your achievement. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in cash and prizes. So, DO NOT ignore the green line!

I love this question so much because I missed a lot opportunities when I started. I missed 200 versapoints for fast tracker and the badge that goes along with it. And I was eliminated on the 4th round do to ignorance, quite sad you will agree?
So to avoid my own kinds of mistakes, try to avoid the following under listed advice. They are must do not for you!
Don't just jump into the business without some little understanding how it works. Start from the basics. To read and study Is a must.
Do not miss any daily lesson of lunch pad especially the first one. Don't just collect 15 VP without assimilating the lesson taught there. Do not dwell in ignorance, ask question/questions when confused. Contact your sponsor as early as possible and your co-sponsor or any of upline team members. A2a friends can also help if you have uploaded your picture, the only requirement to become a member. Still confused ? The SFI four is there where answers to nutty issues are got in a twinkle of an eye plus the mighty Ask Sc section where confusing questions are disected by gurus in SFI . Ignorance is more than a disease.
Do not finish your lunch pad in a day in order to be EA or BTL or anything whatsoever . Once you have fast track badge all you have to do is to make sure you always stay above the greenline. Remember E365 contest class are for all affiliates who registered the same day with you and there are 5 rounds before you make it to the finals with all the goodies following each round. If you utilize the quantum of free versapoints avaliable to you in your first month wisely they will take you to the finals but you exhaust these free VPs early you have no option than to visit tripleclicks this time not to play T-Time or daily grand but to buy something that will give you enough versapoints to stay in contention in your class. I made this same mistake but I did not know I can buy anything in my first month. Presently I am number 3 in my class but out of contention. I feel like crying!
Avoid not visiting your homepage everyday. Don't forget your daily, weekly, monthly and other activities like entering the daily grand.
Visit tripleclicks everyday it is your store. Check for products you might like to buy or sell. Go to the auction site and observe how things are run there so by the time you start to bid you will be wise bidder.
Be proud of your business and never fail to advertise it through different means- mouth to mouth, print and electronic media. In this biz duplication is the key. Go ye into the world multiply SFIers like you. Mentor them and teach them what you have been taught. Never withhold any information from anybody. Remember without them you can do nothing.
Study the compensation plan very well and know your areas of strength and start from them.
If the passion and you have determined that SFI is your last bus stop, then do not wait for your sponsor to tell you to set up your standing order of at lest 1500VP. This ensures your EA status every month
Do not ever think of quitting. SFI is not a get rich quick scheme . It is like a mustered seed, if well planted in a good soil and well watered with patience will grow into a mighty tree.

In most cases new affiliates are not able to get along in the new busness they are in, unless they are properly guided by their Upline.

New affiliates should NOT do the following in their first month;
1.Work without setting SMART goals and action plans. Tackling SFI buiness without goals is futile.

2. Score Versa Points from their To-Do-List, Launchpad or any other readily available source without reading and understanding what this is all about. In other words, new affiliates need to read, understand and only then score VPs

3. Expect to get rich quickly or a huge check within the first month. Yes there are a few who are very well versed with intertnet Marketing such that they quickly sponsor and achieve high rank. These are exceptional cases though.

4. Follow too many links, lest they get lost on the net and overwhelmed by information. They should try to stick to basics whilst making progress
5. Expect to be spoonfed by Sponsor/Co Sponsor. Our Upline are there to give guidance upon asking, but they do not do the work for us.

New affiliates should not be in a hurry to do anything except communicate. They need to study the program and make informed decisions on which way they want to go and what they want to achieve. They should not work without a detailed plan. This would include the setting of both short term and long term goals.

Reading and following the basic steps in SFI will guarantee success. The new affiliate should not venture forward without fist understanding these basic steps. It may mean a day or two delay but it is important to get the grasp of things first. However, take time to complete the reading or else the result will be a plethora of information with no direction in which to proceed. The affiliate will feel overwhelmed and that’s a sure point to frustration.

In the first month everything seems new, enticing and even easy, until it is tried. For example, the auctions may sound and look so simple but there is great need for caution. Take time to look at the process, read up on the guidelines that are given then proceed gingerly. The newbie needs to look out for the big bidders. However, this is something that will come only with time.

Finally, the new affiliate should not be in a hurry to quit. Even though it may seems to be a slow progress, it is progress nonetheless. NOW I Know, what new affiliates should not do the first month:

1. They should only garner the VPs necessary to get on the Fast Track and be come an EA. I went through all of the LAUNCHPAD, but I did read everything. I made STL in just two or three weeks! I should have spread out the gaining of these VPs Take your time! Now I am going to lose a lot of VPs when they start expiring.

2. They should not be afraid to ask questions of their up line! I happen to have a tremendous sponsor. This guy was and is very patient with me and answered all of my questions, He gave me direction and gave me tips that I will always use. I have tried to follow his example with my own team.

3. Affiliates should not, in the first month, spend a lot of money in TripleClicks until they they have a good solid, basic understanding of the relationship between SFI and TripleClicks!

In the very first month there are many things which should NOT do first month but, here few examples I am leaving to start first month:-

* Should NOT be lazy as you will see there are lots of material to learn, because this all the material is going to assist you to achieve your goal.
* Should NOT treat this business like other online businesses, because this is a very genuine business.
* Should NOT give up to make the money over night. In the any business no one can make money over night.
* Should NOT give any advice in the FORUM until and unless you are not familiar with this business but, you can ask any question.
* Should NOT go for the price-bender Auctions, in the first month you watch what are the things necessary.
* Should NOT to miss any single day to achieve your 4 round to complete first month and get the free MRP (Members Reward Points) and VP (Versa Points).

My answer
1-'Not Quit.'

It is so easy to quit due to:
-Information overload
-Problems navigating the site
-What to do next
-How to start earning an income
-Sponsor's lack of support

There is help and support all round, but knowing them takes time.

Until you know the tools and resources that are available, quitting in the first month is a big mistake.

2-Go below the green line
In the first month priority is learning how to acquire VersaPoints to stay above the green line. For a new affiliate this will take up a lot of their time. After the first month there are other priorities for success.

It is therefore not possible for a new affiliate to know enough about SFI to make a decision to quit.

There is so much that can be done to be successful and it will take more than one month to benefit from them.

Please do not enter SFI with a closed mind or any preconceived notions. Treat yourselves as a raw student and concentrate on the enormous details you are made available with. Go step by step and master each of these points. While you can definitely review your role in SFI in future, these educations those are now imparted are going to be with you for the rest of your life. So please never ignore these basics and give maximum of your quality time and commitment to the project in your hand.

New Affiliates should first realise that they are in the verge of breaking into one of the most rewarding experience as far as internet marketing is concerned. Here is an opportunity knocking their door and it is absolutely in their hand to make maximum use of the exposure they are about to receive.

Though the pressure on you from your up line to score fast will be bothering you, you must maintain your cool and continue to complete your Launchpad lessons one by one studying thoroughly. You should not be hesitant to spend more time with ASK SC question and vote 30 questions daily. Never ignore Forum in SFI which brings to various problems we might be facing and the very valuable suggestions to solve these problems from more experienced SFI members and many a time even by the top most people.

Never miss your TO DO LIST and those 11 points daily. This should be your daily priority. You should also not miss Daily Grand entry and also hourly T credit entry as these do not cost you anything. Also grab whatever you can from your up line members from their periodical team messages and improve your knowledge base.
And finally you should not be satisfied by merely clicking the and scoring points as these are not the final objective of SFI. This is a marketing portal and therefore you should concentrate more and more on various marketing concepts/opportunities available here which alone will be able to bring you riches. Therefore we all should concentrate on both multiplication/duplication and also adding more and more TC and ECA members as your associates.

And to achieve all these you should have patience, commitment and quality time dedicated to SFI.

Firstly, don't rush yourself. You need time to get to grips with SFI. There are a lot to learn about the business. Study all the Launch Pad Lessons thoroughly. Read the Tips, Blogs, News and Forums and copy and paste it to build your own Info Base.

Secondly, don't try to become Team Leader. Build up a good knowledge base first. You must be able to lead a team before going on to that point. Plus you need to have a team first. Learn>Sponsor>Lead.

Thirdly, don't chase VersaPoints. Don't use up all your free actions just for the sake of generating as much VersaPoints as fast as possible. Just do the necessary Getting Started Actions to get 500VP within 24 hours for Fast Track ( you get 200 extra free VP just for that) and then your Daily, Weekly and Monthly Actions and your 30 Launch Pad Lessons for the other 800VP necessary to become EA in your first month. Then you'll have more for the next month to reach EA again more easily.

I believe that new affiliates should NOT click without reading and understanding all the things that have to be done in the GETTING STARTED ACTIONS....especially the Launchpad...

All the things we click, we should make sure we understand... For newbies, it is not rushing into something to get more and more points, but a slow but sure learning and understanding of what SFI is and how it works.

This is not a get-quick rich program but a slow but sure thing.... So as newbies, let us not be too overwhelmed to click and click for points but rather we gain points for we have just understood what we have read.
