I tell them that most people take 3 to 5 years of steady work before they reach the time of large commissions.

Since some of those "get rich quick" wanna-bee's have the drive and determination, I go on to tell them that there are some affiliates who have put their business together much faster and are enjoying a good return. I give them a challenge.

The others will just drop by the way-side as they get tired of their results. I try to help them see this is their decision, not a weakness of SFI, before they call it quits.

We should never decide for a person whether they are fit for the position of being an SFI Affiliate. They should decide and we should guide them in their pursuit of it, always being honest.

Always identify yourself as an SFI Marketing Group affiliate so they make the connection as to why you're contacting them. If you're going to be their personal Sponsor or Team Leader, let them know that, too.

You should keep it simple! Tell them that they've been invited to involve with a company that is now in its 16th successful year on the Internet.

Working with SFI means having the peace of mind of working with a proven, debt-free company with a long, successful track record.

You may also wish to include a short testimonial of how the system is working for you (if you've got a good, strong testimonial to offer).

You won't insult their intelligence with promises of overnight wealth. If overnight riches are their dream, they odds are probably better playing the lottery than running a business—any business.

Indeed, as thousands of SFI's affiliates will attest, there's huge money to be made in SFI, if they're willing to do the work.

We all try to avoid the scams. You will only loose money in scams, unless you're the scammer. But any money you could even make as a scammer will be limited by your lost reputation.

We all are looking for schemes. A scheme is a program that uses some kind of attraction to get people's money out of their pocket and into yours. Schemes usually sell themselves with taglines like, "100% commissions"; "No work, no sign ups, no recruiting", "recruit 3 and you're free", "sell nothing, make bundles" or some such nonsense.

We all want schemes because we do not want to change the things we do or the way we are, but we do want our circumstances to change. Albert Einstein said, “Problems cannot be solved with the same mind set that created them.” The hardest thing about change is that it requires change. We want things to change, but WE don't want to change. We cannot have one without the other.

You cannot have a new lifestyle, new income, financial independence, improved standard of living or anything else without change.

Now, lets start to work together toward a change that will help us reach our goals.

The third is a Real Business and that is what SFI is. It is a real opportunity to Earn Real money, but that money is Earned.

It is said often here Leaders are readers, true enough. But Earners are Learners, is also true. We Earn as we Learn what changes to make to reach our goals in life.

The decision to follow your teachings is up to your prospects and affiliates. When you recruit people you should let them know from the start that SFI is not a shortcut to riches inform them that SFI is the real thing. All successful businesses sprout up from real effort and time well spent.

If you tell your prospects or affiliates before they signup that this is not a get rich quick scheme it will save you a lot of time and energy screening out the ones who are serious and willing to commit than those who are looking for a lazy way out. I find this very easy to answer because when I present the SFI opportunity to new prospects, on the onset I explain that "this is not a quick rich program". This has many advantages because

- it will bring in prospects who are willing to work hard and earn and therefore by default my presentation will select those who are serious about the program
- I explain the transition from Affiliate to Executive Affiliate (EA) which takes 1 month and then EA to EA2 takes 1 more month - these are training periods and to expect the company to also pay you as well as train you FREE is being unreasonable.
- I provide examples that show that it is not possible to sow seeds today and expect to reap the harvest in 2 months!
- the best way to handle these types of prospects is to give guidelines about my own experiences and that includes goals through which they have to work with.
- I allow them to use the Earning Calculator which will determine the income levels depending on their own forecast(s) over how quickly their teams will build up.

The above will clearly define the boundaries under which the Affiliates will work and also avoid frustration amongst new Affiliates who will not expect to get rich fast without a team under them. It is important to explain duplication clearly.

I have often been asked ,,When will i take the first money? How much will they pay me?" from people who saw my blog but didn't even register yet. When they hear that is not possible to earn easy money in short time period they don't even register. Well, i would say thank you to them. Because SFI Genealogy is not about quantitative but qualitative affiliates.
For the ones who are already registered I try to motivate them to start working or to work and learn harder. Ambitious people is what you need and they can be motivated by telling them the realistic situation.
I am telling to my Affiliates to be patient and hard working, to learn the insights of the business. It takes time to learn the products, to get to know the marketing activities, to improve their leadership ability. With the necessary knowledge gained they can develop a strategy plan for their business to become successful.
It is very important to accent the fact that SFI provides the Affiliates the opportunity to learn and to succeed but only if they are persistent and patient. One should work every day, think long-term and never, but never quit.

In the simplest way possible. Being honest and explaining what SFI is all about: perseverance, some amount of work (depending on how much and how fast one wants to grow) and that SFI is a business like any other and even better, a business with a minimum to no investment at all (depending on how you taylor up your strategy). You may even be considering at this point suggesting them that a steady, solid income stream is safe and secure (like SFI), compared to any other instant gain schemes (read scams) out there. If they understand this, they will cope in. If not, there is virtually nothing you can do about it. Let them hunt green horses, while you grow your business. After a few months prove them your track of success with SFI. If this doesn't win them over, I really don't know what else will!!

We have different goals,but I think most people know that getting rich fast can be tempting but almost impossible to gain,in any business,online and offline as well.
In my opinion,you should explain them that this is not a quick rich sheme.This is a serious business and it takes time and hard work to be successful here.Inform them what are they supposed to do.Motivate them.Who knows?They may surprise you and turn out to be your best affiliates.
Personally,I'm trying to avoid such situations.In most of my ads I include a sentence or two about that,so everyone who's reading it knows what to expect by joining SFI.

Most people who join SFI not only want to have their own business, but also, they want to make money to improve their standard of living. If they thought SFI was a Get-Rich-Quick scheme, they must face reality. The truth is that the only Internet Marketers making any money with Get-Rich-Quick schemes are the Internet Marketers who are SELLING the Get-Rich-Quick schemes. But, even they had to spend a lot of time, effort and money to develop, market and advertise their schemes. A lot more time, effort and money than it takes to have a successful SFI business.

Yes, it does take some time and effort and maybe even some investment to move their SFI business forward. But, how many successful business people in their town or city do they think became successful without spending time, effort and money, lots of money? You need to explain and let them absorb that business involves the process of building step-by-step and it is a gradual process. There is no instant in business process. It is only in noodles.
