How do you prevent people from preying on your downline and convincing them to join other programs?

There are some affiliates here, a few though, who join SFI to prey on affiliates and entice them to join other programs. They first try to add you via A2A and then entice you to join their programs. I was approached via a2a lately and the person told me he had big file of free classified ad sites for me and the file is too big to send via a2a. So he requested for my email address. It turned out that he was promoting his sites.
