2. After two months in SFI, the most important VP acquirement will be the 125 T-credits SO which fetches you 1500 AVPs. This will be very useful to retain your ranks As EA2 and continue up the ladder in the “SFI hierarchy”.
3. After 3-4 months when you are quite informed about SFI , you can try answering “Ask SC” and with persistent determined practice you can win one of the prizes for the best answer!
This will fetch you 25 AVPs for third to tenth place; 50 AVPs for 2nd place and 100 AVPs for the 1st place.This additional Action VP could qualify you for the next team leader position, especially if you have exhausted all the other tasks for earning valuable Action VP.
Besides gaining vast knowledge about SFI, you would have improved your writing skills while providing valuable content for your weekly team messages, personal blog and your Leadership Page.
4. I would recommend the above to my down line to focus on as per the priority & chronological order!

1. Should a person go for the rank of Team Leader if they don't yet have a team?" Well this is an interesting & tricky question. Both sides of the coin are true as far as this question goes. Off course each opinion has its own “pros & cons”.
2. As far as my experience goes, I became a BTL at the end of second month after joining SFI. I had opted for the SO of 125 Tcredits @ $36.25 during that month. During the third & fourth months, I had a couple of active PSAs( Ea-2 & BTL) & a CSA (EA-2). But the next succeeding month – i.e. the fifth month- all of those active PSAs/CSAs went to ‘sleep’. The next four months tried to ‘wake’ them up with all the sources /tool available in SFI to communicate with them; but it was of no use. I had continued this SO for eight months .Suddenly, I realized that I was investing a large sum regularly for practically no returns- low monthly income in cents not even dollars-.I realised that it was not a good idea as it costed money to maintain my BTL. I had a meager income of couple of dollars in two months since there was no benefit as my team was inactive or non-existent. Hence these circumstances forced me to cancel my SO & to revert back to EA-2.
3. Presently, I am waiting patiently to have enough regular EA2s in my team so that I will be benefited from matching VPs of my active PSAs/CSAs. Once I get two to three active EA-2, I will restart my SO! Jumping in and upgrading to a team leader before you have an active team of affiliates –minimum EA-2 rank is real, utter foolishness. Well, my opinion is that its meaningless to invest money & spend your time becoming a TL, until you have an active, well performing team!
4. Well, the other side of the coin is that becoming a TL builds your team faster for you because:
a. You have a share in the 2nd Home CSAs each month. .
b. From your investment of a SO of 125 T-credits for becoming a TL, you can buy 1-2 units of S Builder to help you in getting a team.
c. From your T-Credits bought through your SO, you can get PSAs from the Price Benders Auction or the Bid and Build Program.
d. You can also build your team through games by collecting MRP that can be used to purchase S- builder or PSAs to Go.
5. The only pre-condition is that you should be able to afford spending on a SO for $36.25
6. This option requires lot of investment. So if you are ready to invest, make sure you have a realistic plan that will sustain it for you.
7. As entrepreneurs, one should make use & recycle the profit made to run the business. Creation of a profit oriented plan will aid us in building a successful SFI business. In course of time we will realize that we are not at a loss if we become a TL without having a team. Finally, we will end up having one.
8.To summarize, the option of becoming a team leader with or without an active performing team should be left to the individual’s finances & his strategic plans!

1. Well, it is an interesting question. As per my opinion it does not matter whether I have the younger or older lot in my down line.
What matters most is, I should have strongly determined and active affiliates in my team and I should also grow together with them.
2. However, since you have posed this question, it is my duty to answer.
First of all, we need to study & read the minds of the younger generation; factors like their approach towards life, their ambitions and general outlook towards a promising successful career should be taken into account before you strategize. Generally, their goals are high but short term based; they want to reach their peak in a limited & short period of time. Keeping this in view, we should tactfully advertise SFI as a second income source .We can paste the marketing aids like SFI banners claiming it as a second source of income using the SFI gateway with url: http://www.sfi1.biz/.
3. Keeping this in mind, we should stress on the following points as a strategy-
a) First & foremost the registration to start the business is absolutely free. Use the "SFI is free to start" logo
Normally, this age group between 21 to 35 years ,is not financially stable, where college fees and tight budget push them to work on an additional income, which can be SFI!
b) Their quest to learn is very high. SFI provides easy step by step training to provide more information/ knowledge and guide them in the business.

1.There are two distinct & contradictory time frames as and when to buy PSAs.
a) After settling down for a period of 2-3 months.
b) As soon as possible.
Let us independently discuss each of these aspects.
A) After settling down for a period of 2-3 months.
2. The Initial Stage.
After we join SFI ,we need sometime to get acquainted with its basics, its operations, launch Pad lessons, Rules of Success, Three Golden rules of Duplication,Compensation,Daily to Do tasks etc. This is the initial warming up time, which is actually the period of orientation & coming to know the inside out of SFI to some extent!( that is to know”what is what” &”‘where is what”.) The next step is to carry out the daily to do tasks.
3. If we are sincere & hardworking, we will be collecting the Fast Track badge and attaining the rank of EA-2 in the next couple of months.
4. Second stage:-
This is the consolidation phase where in after the introductory period is over, that we will feel an urge to have our own team to work and support us.In the Second stage when we are entering the consolidation phase, we wish to develop our own team after we have learnt some useful techniques, problems and their solutions.
5. this juncture we will be ready to coach, teach & guide someone else. This is appropriate stage where we can build up put team. We can resort to off line and on line methods to build the team. As a part of off line method which is termed ‘warm marketing’, we can approach our family & inner circle of friends to enroll them.
Whereas in the on line method, we can advertise using the free SFI and TC banners to recruit affiliates. We can also participate in Pricebenders auctions where we can get a few PSAs through ‘Spin & Win” .We can also buy PSAs from ECAs through Triple Clicks.
In long Term, this works out well. I would however prefer to start a S-Builder Co-op
or enroll myself in the existing Co-p of SFI by paying a nominal amount of
$0.22 per day. This ensures a steady inflow of PSAs over a period of time.
We attain 2 CSAs every month once we retain EA-2 rank; this is time when we can go in for PSAs.

6.If we are in a hurry to have a team even while we are in the Affiliate rank, neither do we have knowledge to guide nor sufficient experience to share with them in order to teach, coach and guide them.

B) As soon as possible.
7. Having joined SFI and made the decision to take SFI as a real business opportunity, we must start recruiting immediately, within our first week in SFI. This can be either through ‘warm’ marketing or by purchasing PSAs.However,its recommended that we check out the SFI basics first, completing our “Immediate actions” on “ TO DO” tab and also complete the initial five days of Launch Pad lessons.
8. Bythat time the basics in SFI should be clear to us. We should not be ashamed to inform our new Affiliates that we are also new to the business. We will learn and grow with them. If they ask us some questions, we should carry out our research, check FORUM, and do whatever it takes but always make it a point to get back to them.
9.By this, we become more knowledgeable as a result of our affiliates asking & clearing their doubts. We have no other option to do research and find out the reliable answers to their questions. In one way this process enables us to be always updated on SFI policies & rules!
We will not go wrong with this technique. If we make a mistake, we will learn from it. Once we are successful, we will feel “empowered" and will venture out to recruit with more confidence.
10. Having illustrated the possible alternatives mentioned above to choose the stage & time to purchase PSAS, I would adopt this policy as illustrated below:-
i) Once my current goal requires to purchase PSAs,I would go for it! Since SFI is a business purely built on team work, therefore the purchasing or recruitment of PSA's is important but it will also depend on where my focus is at the moment.
ii) Once I start earning through SFI and I have sufficient budget, I would purchase these PSAs.
iii) I would also confirm the readiness of my business before venturing out to buy affiliates, which can impact the growth of my business.
iv) On the contrary, if I have sufficient active PSAs who have been recruited personally thru warm marketing, may not even think of buying these PSAs as my business is running smoothly with sufficient monthly income
11. Finally to summarize, the right time for purchase of PSAs is left to an individual, his state of business and his goals; his comfort level at the present time to guide and lead others in his down line.
