Should I or shouldn't I try to recruit people to become SFI affiliates when they are not English speakers/readers?

Language should never be a barrier to success at SFI. We can see people who speak the same language still struggling to communicate effectively! Therefore it is not all about language but rather “communication”. Those who cannot speak the same language that you speak still have access to translation tools even on the SFI website.
Most of the time, your potential PSAs would be reading their training material on their own, in which case they will be able to use translation tools. When they

It is a very good question and indeed one would also add: “How important is it that your family embrace any type of work that you do?”

Relationships are central to our well being and development, and if in a family, one should never ignore those closest to him or her. There are several examples of relationships that have broken down because of differences in the split of time between family and work. So it is not just SFI it could be any kind of work.

Every sponsor might have a personal preference in how they approach training their PSAs or CSAs. However, there is one thing that all sponsors should have in common and that is beginning your training with a letter of welcome. Again the contents of this letter will differ from sponsor to sponsor but it is good practice that the sponsor makes the new affiliate feel at home and does not begin with “information overload.”

Take it step by step as most of what the affiliate needs to know

It is true that if you make the most of SFI resources, it is possible to enhance success. I would like to categorise the SFI Power tools in four categories:

1. Marketing/Advertising/Sales
2. Communication
3. Recognition and Rewards
4. Games and competitions

Under category 1, if you study the SFI resources in detail, you can promote your product through effective advertising, both paid and unpaid and easily transform that product into earnings through sales. For

It is true that many new sign ups do not proceed beyond day 1. That is if they even managed to log in at all! This problem in itself is not new and some of the reasons why people choose to do this are beyond the sponsor’s control.
However, for the new sign ups who log in the first day or respond to your letter of welcome, it is best to keep in touch with them right from the very beginning. For example if they are online at the same time as you are, it is a good idea to initiate a chat. It

Yes, you can overcome your limitations and unlock roadblocks as you make progress with SFI. It is all in the mind!
All of us have both strengths and weaknesses and one person differs from another in the ratio of their strengths to their weaknesses. When faced with a problem it is easy to give up if you focus so much on what we cannot do rather than what you can.
In the case of SFI, every affiliate’s desire is to succeed at whatever he or she does. Success on the other hand is achieved

My team has a negative attitude about SFI. How can I change it to a positive one?

I see three key words in your question: team, attitude and change.

Attitude is a direct product one’s belief or perception of something or a situation. A right attitude leads to good actions and equally a wrong attitude leads to bad actions.
Therefore to change from one attitude to another, one has to address the cause of the misconception or wrong belief.

I find it strange, that you are not just dealing with the attitude of one or two PSAs but your team. It is one thing

SFI has great ways to communicate with your team, but am I missing out by not using outside resources too like email, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, etc.?

The communication resources provided by SFI are in my opinion adequate for corresponding with your team on a regular basis. You have mentioned Email, as one of the outside resources but where possible this is already available at SFI.
However, if you want to facilitate a chat with most members of your team at the same time, then outside resources such as conference calls provided by Skype or Webinar are very useful.
As your relationship with your team members grows, it will be easier for

Through SFI, the following resources of communication between Sponsor and Affiliate are available:

PSA and CSA mailer
E-mail
E-cards
Phone
Live Chat

Each of the above can be an effective source of communication depending on the nature of the message. For example PSA and CSA mailer is very effective for one to write weekly newsletters to all affiliates.
