A great welcome gift for a new PSA or CSA is merely a great sponsor/co-sponsor .If they have been into any other online affiliate marketing business, it will be a pleasant surprise for a new affiliate to have friendly, helpful contact from an upline leader.

SFI has newly introduced two welcome gifts for new PSAs, a $1.00 cash gift given after they have proven their activity level, or a few TCredits before they are even started. Both gifts are funded mostly by the sponsor but SFI puts in a share of the cash.

The problem with the second method of gifting is that it tends to hint at bribing them to work, not rewarding them. While most people like an offer of cash, they may wonder why we have to pay them to begin, and they may look to other hand outs.

The welcome letter, e-Cards, Team Mail, and IMs all show the care and concern of their sponsor.
they are welcoming hands offering a leg up with help to understand ad get started. The effort that an awesome sponsor puts in to understand the business and teach it, the effort to keep up with all the exciting changes and improvements at SFI,and the effort the awesome sponsor puts in to shepherd and encourage his team is a big gift to them paid in advance of their enrollment.

Not all new PSAs will respond in kind, but then those that I have given dollars or TCredits have not either. Those dollars and TCredit gifts are better timed for use as rewards.

Mothers like to be pampered, appreciated, and loved on Mother's Day. They don't want to cook. They don'y want to be reminded of their imperfections (fat, old, wrinkled).So think about the message your gift will bring with it.

Also consider her place in life. A young mother is excited about every little thing her baby and kids do. She is also improving the decor in her house and is active at home and away with lots of interests.

The Grandmother Mom is in a slower stage of life. She has a house full of memories and keepsakes. Her decor is set. She does not need or even want more stuff to fill her house. What she appreciates on Mother's Day is time with the family, a meal she didn't cook, and consumables that are relaxing and refreshing.

With this in mind search TC for items that each type of mother might like. Make collections and name them cleverly but appropriately for the different mothers.

Are any of the hand-made cards for Mother's Day? Promote them. And sporting equipment, gadgets for sports, cameras, TV, new bed set, romantic lighting, perfumes, house decor keepsakes.

For the matured mom, promote cameras, TVs, special foods, lotions and bath spas sets, there are lots of pretty scarves, jewelry. Digital photo frame with grand kids and her own children in it.

Remember, you are promoting these gifts to those who are doing the buying, not to the Mother. Children and husbands often need lots of help choosing gifts... Give them that help when you promote. Show them the items you want to sell and tell them why Mom would love it.

You are much more apt to find a successful candidate for becoming a diamond if the person was a self-starter and is presently active. How much effort and time did you have to put into getting him really interested in working SFI?

Is there open communication between the two of you or do you ask all the questions and his answers are three words? A 5 year, 60 month, commitment is a long time to be working without direction.

If you have offered contests or rewards, has he been eager for the challenge? Did he win at all costs?

Is he easy to teach the ways to success at SFI or is he stubborn and insistent on doing things his own way?If he won't easily follow you, he won't learn the value and ways of duplication.

Is he faithfully logging in and gathering all available VPs?How long is his ? How often does he break it?

IF you have doubts about inviting someone, stop before you send out the invitations and determine what requirements you should insist on before you agree to the invite. Then write a pre-invitation letter and state your requirements and that they must be met before an invitation is offered.

There might be future Diamonds lurking among your in-active PSAs, but they will be harder to find. Send them an informative letter about the DD opportunity and your requirements. If they read it and if they are interested, they will appear on your Movers List. Grab them and try to begin a conversation.

Since this is all new for all of us, we can not answer from experience. So I will tell what my expectations will be.

Depending how each of us as sponsors views these changes, they can either help build our businesses, or add fuel to their downfall. Obviously what we have to do is grab onto the changes with a positive attitude and spend time understanding them so that we can advise and encourage our teams.

The signing bonuses, if we learn to use them in our advertising, will bring in many more recruits that will log in to see what they are all about. We must be ready to address this in our welcome letters. The more new PSAs who log in after signing, the better chance of having them continue to log in.

As they log in, they will read about the other incentives Our pre-written, copy and paste, letter about the next level of incentives, drawings, and competitions should excite some of them to pursue the chase. Those will be the ones you will see on you Movers List.

You can work with them and move them into the perseverance that they need to build their businesses. These are the ones who will take advantage of the Designated Diamond offer, and the Milestone Shares.

My team will grow with more advertising, mine and my affiliates'. I have a few whom I will nominate for DD, but I expect to nominate more in the next 6 months. With new focus and new goals, I expect that my team will fill out before I take it to a higher level.

With proper planning, wise leadership, and good communication, a business can noy help but increase with our new programs.

Most of our present ECAs are retailers with existing stores, strictly e-Commerce stores, or artisans who sell what they produce. All of these businesses are equipped or capable of swerving the individual buyers, including the details of shipping products to them.

When driving the streets of ones own city, it is easy to think about the great wealth we could have if we refer the manufacturing companies and the large, national retail corporations. So after getting a few referrals to ones credit, why not take on the bigger guys?

I say bigger guys because it is best to build on previous experience. The big conglomerate corporations are usually pretty set in their advertising and distribution. And the man to talk to is pretty well out of reach of the newbie.

But we all have smaller, local companies that have good sales forces but will still look at new ideas. The CEOs are people you meet at the supermarket and benefit dinners. They are busy, but not so busy that a well-prepared person can not get an appointment.

Always begin by securing an appointment. Prepare for it by studying about the company and the person you have the appointment with. I am assuming that you have read ALL the materials about the ECA program and have all the marketing tools for this venture. Dress like a business person and take the the ECA brochure and some xCards or business cards.

You have information that you know he can use and benefit his company. In just a few sentences you must get his attention and give him a condensed version of what you are offering him. He will probably throw some reasons that he is not interested and you must answer to them by unfolding what our ECA Program is and what it can do for his company. Do not make wild statements or promises.

Unless his company already has a mail order department, he will have to add that department.It will then be up to you to advertise his ECA so that he will have enough business to be a good testimony for your next big company pursuit.

At the end of the meeting, leave a brochure and your card. Set another appointment to clinch the deal unless he is ready right then. A few days later send a thank you letter written on TripleClicks printed stationery with a matching envelope. If you need to reach him again, you can send another letter or the ECA postcard. Do not be a nuisance. Don't phone more than 3 times.

This world has many, many languages. It is impossible to learn them all. Many of us speak and read one, and have studied one or two, but we are still very limited in communicating with the rest of the world.

Thankfully we have translators that we can rely on. But even the best ones can fail us due to the complexities of our languages. In fact the English language not only makes need of a dictionary, but of a thesaurus, also. A thesaurus is a compilation of all the words that mean the same. While a dictionary tells all the different meanings of a word.

With multiple words having the same meaning and multiple meanings for the words, it is easy to see why translators do not always work. Another upset in the system that I have found is that many people do not put that space between a period and the first letter of the next sentence. This confuses the translator which reads it as one unknown word. One must then put it back into the translator an insert the space which allows the translator to complete its job. The last wrench in the gears is the use of idioms, or local expressions that just don't translate well.

To overcome all this we must use our words carefully.
1. Use those words which are simplest so that they may carry the meaning that you intend.
2. Use correct grammar.
3. Use spell check or a dictionary.
4. Think out what you want to say and how it might be heard. Make sure you say what you
mean.
5. Write your message in your language and proof read it.
6. Send your message both in your language and in the language of the intended reader.
7. If you have a group of affiliates speaking one language, translate your team mail and send it to
that group, along with the copy in your language or in English.
8. Use English as much as possible since that is the official SFI language and of the business
world.

We now have some interesting options with SFI, that can facilitate communication between affiliates. We have a country and regional room in the Forum where we may use our own languages.

We also have the options to release our foreign CSAs into an Exchange Pool so that they may be co-sponsored by someone from their own country in exchange for CSAs from our own. We may also reassign our CSAs to our downline. We have several reasons to do this, one being, again, to pair affiliates speaking the same language.

This is also one reason to reassign your PSAs to other members of your team. In each case the aim is to strengthen the ability of everyone to understand what is being said.

A group of a million and a half people is a large and unwieldy mass of individuals. SFI affiliates have the greatest chance to showcase SFI in a favorable light in their own neighborhoods, cities, and social circles. By keeping a positive attitude about SFI and regularly telling those they know about what they are doing, what they are learning, how the advertising is drawing attention, etc. The more that is not said when mentioning something about the business, the more interest is sparked. They should be up front about SFI, not hiding anything, but not telling all unless asked.

An affiliate should pursue his warm market and turn his cold contacts into a warm market. He should also not be afraid to ask them to ,join, a call to action where he directs the direction of the action.

When an affiliate recruits a new PSA, he should treat him with respect and be sure to send him a welcome letter with an invitation to ask for help. Several letters may be needed before a response is received, or there may never be a response. He should continue to send group mail, anyway.

The email should discuss all of the new and older incentives that the new PSA should know about and follow through on. Care should be made not to spend too much time, they will meet up with them in their training. The sponsor's job is to point out the urgency of taking action.

The more an affiliate advertises SFI and the many facets of it, the more that people will recognize it.This can be good or bad, so care must be made to follow the rules set by SFI when advertising.
This question does not mention TripleClicks, but TC is an important part of the success of SFI. If we want to see SFI have a great year, we must see that TC has one, too. Remember no one in SFI makes any good money without purchases or sales of products through TC. And any MLM is just a scheme without the sales of real products.

So our individual affiliates also must strive to make sales, encourage his team to buy and sell, and encourage transfer buying. The more products that are sold through TC, the larger the Executive Pool, and the happier the affiliates will be. And their testimonies to their warm market gets better all the time.

We have less than two weeks before Valentines Day. So our primary concern is time. It takes time for the promotion and it takes time for shipping, or local pick up.

Next we would want to narrow our search to a few nice items that are traditionally given at this time of year. Rings, jewelry, jewelry boxes, perfume, after shave/cologne, scented home-made soaps, clothing, sports equipment, etc.

You will want to advertise these items either in the country of the ECA, or within say, one hours' drive for pick-up. You need to do this immediately because few customers will buy the first moment they spot the ad.

I would suggest that now is the time to begin to plan your promotions for Easter in March, Mother's Day in May, and Father's Day in June, along with the June weddings. This will leave more time for shipping so you can widen your target areas.

A new Designated Diamond is not a new SFI affiliate, nor your new PSA, and not lower than your first generation. It is your PSA who has shown himself to be worthy of an invitation to the DD program. Worthy of your attention, time, training, and relationship.

(I hope that you are not so eager to send out invitations that you send them to everyone in your genealogy. Be patience but deligent, your team will grow and those worthy of invitations will show themselves. SFI isn't going to end in 5 years and hopefully you will not either.)


So I do not think a welcome letter is the right thing to send. You welcomed them once. You have encouraged them and began a relationship. At this stage they don't want review. A congratulations for taking the next step would be appropriate. Then a discourse on what will be expected from each of you, using SFI's DD guidelines from the News Alerts, some goal setting, and some encouragement should fill out the short letter to the new DD.

It's not so much what you say, but with how much excitement, honesty, and gut need you put into the statement. Be more positive than negative. Have a steady, level eye contact. And sidle with his needs, goals, dreams, hopes, and desires. Show him the side of you that he hasn't seen, the secret side that holds your desires, determination, and dreams.

1. This is not an over night proposition. It will take 3-5 years to begin to flesh out and show some good money. If you don't join now, will you be in better financial condition in 5 years?

2. If you don't have any friends, then do you know anyone who needs more income? Has anyone borrowed money from you lately? Together we can help him earn his own..

3. Do you get paid for playing Social Media games? Spend the time setting up a real income producing business that you have been spending setting up a fake farm. And have time to play our EZ Zebra games and earn doing it.

4. To a local shopkeeper.Is your advertising dollar reaching enough people? Become one of our 3,739 e-Commerce Stores and reach around the world with over 4,500,000 members.

5. You can watch your kids grow, work at home, work in your play clothes. Get up on your time. Never see a boss. And never have to drive in snow again before the plow trucks get out.

6. Not asking for figures, does your present income stretch around all of your expenses? Is it unlimited? Can you pay for everything you want?With SFI, once you have the business built, you can expect a fairly steady increase in commissions if you never stop actively building it.

7. You will know what you are capable of doing when you become determined to do it and give it the investment needed to get it done. It is up to the business owner to decide the balance between time, effort, and cash to get the business built. Time has two factors: number of years duration before it matures and the hours of a day or week that you work the business. Cash can be zero or any amount that covers advertising and business expenses. The more freely you spend, the faster the business usually grows. Effort will become evident when you are a member.
