We have a lifetime limit of 10 TCredits per affiliate that we can give out for any reason. Therefore it is important to be able to use these to reward them for actual work they have done. If you use the the TW option, you will be using 3-9 of your allotted TCredits for that affiliate. Then to, the TCredits will come back to you if the new affiliate does not use them within the first 24 hours they are an affiliate of SFI.

The other big reason to not use this option is that new affiliates have no idea what is a TCredit, or member listing, and may not be interested Pricebenders auction, music download, etc. Of the few that have opted to take my offer of TCredits, none have used them. They do get a letter explaining about the TCredits and how to use them right at the start. But I think too many new affiliates read with their eyes or brain closed and never get what it is saying.

One the other hand, it looks like none of my takers of the CW is going to end up with the money either. The money concept is easier for new affiliates to comprehend and even though we do not have the 2 TCredits returned to us, I much prefer using this option as a welcoming gesture to my new affiliates.

Both of these options either take time away from the new affiliate finding what he is to do next, or are put on hold and forgotten. In spite of the opening letter from SFI, it is wise for the sponsor to add to his welcome letter and explain how these options are done, (remember we can offer only one of them) and the urgency of action, remembering also the urgency of action for the FastTrack.

You will need to understand all that is available about the Milestone Shares and some of the ways to make sure you will reap their fullest benefit. Then you can devote a team mail to the full subject, or you can give them an outline and elaborate on each topic in following team mails.

We will earn a certain number of shares for each block of 10 VP earned personally, no matched VP.Thet will be banked, saved up, until we reach the next rank.At the time commissions are paid, the shares will be paid to us and our share account will be back to zero.

Please note that the shares will expire one year after they were earned. This means that while we do not have to advance to the next level before the year end, we will lose all of the shares that are over a year old.

It also means that if we rush things and advance too quickly, we will not have that whole year to gather shares. This should cause us to pace ourselves and not rush through the steps, but rather to learn how to lead a team at that level and to develop the team and its members to perform at their level. And it pokes affiliates to advance to top leadership.

To be able to give them an idea about the monetary value of the shares watch them accumulate on your scoreboard and divide the cash value of your banked shares into the predicted value of what you already have. Give them some figures of how many shares you advanced for doing just the Daily acts and maybe for 100 TCredits. Just enough to rouse them to action, not enough that they will guess your income.

If your goal is to build your business and buying products is in your budget, great. Anything you buy from TripleClicks will help you monthly VP goals, but that may not be building your business. It may just allow you to maintain the status that you are at.

So what helps you build your business? First, you need business supplies and marketing tools. These include envelopes, brochures, x-Cards, post cards, letter head stationery, Gift Cards, clothing, and other items with SFI, TC, and Zebra games on them.

After you have these business and marketing tools, you will want a good amount of TCredits and S Builder shares.

The most important TC products are often overlooked. Those are the highly recognized TC direct products like the liquid nutrition, Peak nutrients, the Natural cleaning supplies, etc. And SFI radio. When you invite your local team members to your house for a training meeting, or an introductory meeting with prospects, you want them to see that you use the products, and hear the ads on the radio.

Our business is based on sales of those products and those offered by the ECAs. Unfortunately, the products of the ECAs are not specifically labeled as being from TC or SFI. So while we should buy as many products as we can use from the ECAs, their products often are not center stage in our objective to build our business.

You can look into the SFI Marketing Aids for the many options they give us for spreading the word: x-cards, in many different TC divisions, ECA materials, phone conversation example, e-cards, banners, auto magnets, etc.

And then there is the Gift Card and Gift Certificate. You can use them as a one-two punch to get someone to look at TC. You can use the Gift Card with a birthday or Holiday Card to announce that as soon as you have their account number you will send a $__.00 Gift Certificate to their account as their gift from you.

This will cause the recipient to scour the departments of their interest, learn how to make the order, and give you SVP. Meanwhile you didn't have to go out and buy and wrap the gift.

Since you know the recipient, you can send share-its, including for the games and to urge them to join W3, and hopefully bring in their friends.

When handing out gift Cards and x-cards, I have better results if I tell them I have been with this global shopping mall for so many years and with it being time to buy gifts they might like the prices of some of the many items.

People tend to demand more than a few items to choose from whether it is picking out fish for the aquarium, selecting food from a buffet, clothing off the rack, or items from a catalog. it seems to fulfill a 'hunt and capture' drive within us. The feeling that we got the bet one.

Our new collections option allows us to offer a grouping of items for our customers to choose from.The ECA store that has only a few items can expand it's offerings in just a matter of a few minutes by browsing the other ECA stores and capturing selected items to complement or bring variety into his own store, not to forget the commissions harvested when a 'borrowed item' sells.

He can also bundle products together that would complement each other in a gift basket, a home beauty spa, a weekend getaway, a child's bed room, or any other purpose or event. This makes shopping easier for the customer, increases sales, and brings more exposure to items that are often ignored.

For those ECA stores that offer many products of different kinds, the collections option allows the product list to be broken down into more manageable lengths. Simply divide the products into categories. Then the customer will not have to sort through a 1000 items to find the 12 in the category he is looking for.

Naming the categories an be fun and very important. Products at TC show up on SEO searches, so some attention should be given to word and name choices. Choose a descriptive name that will draw your customers into looking at the collection. Then write interesting descriptions.

We've grown up hearing the saying, "Monkey see, monkey do." But in SFI it's not that easy. When we want our PSAs and CSAs to duplicate what we do and teach it to their PSAs and CSAs, then we really have to focus their attention upon what we want them to take into their routines. And there are many, many things that fall within that category.

Looking at our badges gives us an idea of the different categories that must be covered when teaching duplication. It's not enough to just say, "Do what I do. Earn the badges I earned." Many new affiliates have not seen the importance of the badges, have not looked into how to earn them, and think they are purely for bragging.

As part of the lessons about duplication, they should be directed to look at the badges, the sponsor should tell why each set of badges, keyed by color, is important for a leader and what needs to be done to earn them.

As part of the preparation for teaching this, the sponsor should gather as many of the badges as possible, each with a respectable ranking. Then he can tell his team what he did to earn them, and why he thinks they are important.

The badges cover the obvious things that should be duplicated, but there are other things that a sponsor does that may not be seen by everyone of his team. What comes to mind now is the willingness for a sponsor to treat his team members as individuals while he is dealing with the team as a whole. We write team mail. A PSA who never communicates with his sponsor may not know how wisely his sponsor can answer individuals with questions. A PSA who never visits his sponsor's Leadership Page may not know the wisdom of having contests with rewards to stimulate the affiliates. These things and more are part of an awesome sponsor's tool chest, but those who don't participate won't know or duplicate them.

So a sponsor must also tell the team in his team mail what he is doing, encourage them to not only participate in those activities, but also to use them as tools in their own leadership. Don't leave it for them to figure out.

With out a doubt, my affiliates struggle with one phase or another of faith in the whole concept of this business. Their reasons for negativity are:
1) Everyone reminds them about the scams called pyramid schemes.
2) They expect to make money as soon as they would if earning a paycheck.
3) They recruit many, like maybe 10, PSAs and none of them even begin to work.
4) They find one really active PSA who earns 1500 VP and then never logs in again.
5) They talk to every retail business in their town and no one becomes an ECA.
6) They earn their EA and get their first pay.
7) They find out that we start at 0 VP every month and can't get to 1500VP the second month
8) They come to believe it won't work.
9) They are afraid to invest mostly money, but time also into their unproven business.

By answering these situations early on in an affiliates membership, we can forestall the shock they have when they meet these situations head on. Friends and family will discourage them. They will learn there is a difference between being an employee and a business owner. They will learn that very few people have big visions of an easy life and are willing to do what it takes to get there.

Explaining the compensation plan in terms that they will understand and not leave anything for them to have to figure out will help them stop balking at beginning the month at 0 and accepting such small compensation pay. They will learn what needs to happen before their pay increases. They can also opt to take on more than one of the income streams early on. As they begin to see the big picture, or some building income, they will begin to invest in their own business in more ways than just time and money.

Their believe that it won't work, that it is a scam, that SFI is out to get them, all must be tempered and turned into a positive attitude that there is a way to success even against the odds. We must provide personal experiences, testimonies of successes of others, etc.

A positive attitude coupled with the belief that there is a solution to every problem will help to lesson the struggles of your affiliates.

Being a good team leader is like being skillful at most any other activities.Even those known as "naturals" must learn more about the activity and how to school himself to become even better at it whether it is a physical sport or a mental art.

When one becomes aware of his need and desire to become more skilled at something, he will undertake two routes of training. He will learn as much as is necessary about his chosen activity, and he will condition and train as much of his physical being as is needed to perform the activity well.

In grade school, during game time, it becomes obvious who the potential leaders are. But they are often bossy, impatient, inconsiderate, have no game plans, and don't know how to manage the team. At that time they will learn by trial and error, ask questions as they go, and generally look for better ways to manage the players.

In leading a business team, a person will also look for better ways to manage people. They will also use trial and error, but more often will go to experts in their field, or read books and watch videos about team management. At SFI we also have a whole library about improving leadership skills, and experts at the Forum, ASK SC, a2a, and our upline.

Another important way to learn about team leadership is to watch your upline, watch other affiliates in SFI who are successful and duplicate in your business what they do.

While you are watching and learning, you can also be practicing. Make note of what works, and discard what doesn't work. Remember how much a young ball player practices. Eventually you will be a great team leader.

The weekly newsletters are just that, letters that go out to the whole team and broadcast the new happenings at SFI and TC. They may also have some training, some tips, and other things. They usually aren't very personal.

In between these letters, you want to focus on your individual affiliates: who is not doing which of the daily actions. Why? Ca you help them? How about the slow recruiters? Does someone need a few re-assignees to write to and earn his weekly VP? Does anyone need help advertising? Get personal with these affiliates. Write them notes using e-Cards, or chat, or e-mail. Build the relationship, teach duplication, show them how to leverage their time, money and resources in order .

Help them love working on their SFI business .

I have found that in my own shopping habits that I have two different personalities. Sometimes I spend time with comparing products and prices and buy the best product for the money I want to spend, and other times I buy the product that I want no matter the cost. Within reason, that is.

Do I miss the extra money that I may have spent on my product? No, because I end up spending my available money on non-necessities anyway.

I have found it to be the same way with my TC purchases. And I have pretty much decided that if I am going to buy a product , it might just as well be from TC. Yes, there is often shipping expense involved. That's part of the cost of business. But there are also many items that are shipped for free or for little cost.

The TC Natural cleaning products are some of my favorites. You can order several at a time and they fit good in a case box and it often costs less as a group than singly.

Most of the cleaning products are condensed, that is, you add more water to the amount you are using per job. The products are well-mixed and easily mix into the water that you add. Some jobs require stronger solutions and you can mix various strengths right from your one bottle.

While I buy the cleaning products so as to fill a case, I do buy the vitamins and supliments by the month. Most of the bottles hold a month's worth and it is excellent for standing orders.

I start with the Megavites, add one for my joints, my metabolism, energy, and minerals. There are some I buy from our ECAs.

Two items that I get from ECAs are topical pain relief, spray or rub-on. And recently, toilet paper. I find it very useful to have it delivered to my door a case at a time and know I will never run out. I costs a bit more, but who notices at the end of the month.

I have found many kitchen items and jewelry, etc. to help reach my monthly VP goals, especially with the 25 VP reviews. These items are very reasonably priced.

I used my Wish List quite often to be able to quickly find items that I previously have located.
