What are some daily marketing habits I can implement to grow my TripleClicks (ECA) business?

I love this question because I was an ECA and I believe I was on of the best. I did market higher ticket items so these products sell a bit slower but for me they are the most profitable. Really growing your ECA means that you need to have a central product theme, broad range of products in that theme, and excellent customer service.

I don't believe you can effectively do all products like a larger discount store. The cash outlay need to do this is much higher and you are probably going to have more losers than winners when it comes to product categories. So what I did was to build my ECA around one hot product theme like electronics. Then you need to offer a broad range of products in that category. Some low range, mid range and higher products work great when they are all in the same category. For example, a Lenovo laptop is going to be more expensive than a Dell. So I would offer a power Dell laptop at a considerably lower price point than the Lenovo. But you might think I wouldn't sell the Lenovo. Actually the opposite is true because price is not the only consideration in the buying process. If the prospect is looking for a status symbol in a notebook then a Lenovo is just what they are going to buy or even an Apple which cost even more! But for the personal more concerned about functionality and practically, the Dell may be a good choice because the prospect would save 100s of dollars over the Apple. Purchases are a matter of preference more than price. It's difficult to wrap your mind around this sometimes as the more expensive items cost more to stock. Profit margin has to balance with customer needs and that's how you sell anything.

As the saying is "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" customer experience is the same way. Every ECA should set out to provide the best customer experience possible but not at the expense of the business. Speedy delivery, excellent feedback, no hassle returns policy, and variety all play a major role in customer experience. However, the rating is in the power of the customer. Do all you can to get a favorable rating. It will only serve to better your customer service skills. I lost money on a few items to save the customer service experience. Image and reputation matters. So once they is lost know that you might as well close the ECA! Be courteous, polite, and available. Then after all of that sometimes you will get an unfavorable rating! Don't let that bother you as long as you did everything you could do.

Finally, having a subdomain has some advantages. That is you benefit from all the top level domain traffic that you don't have to pay for. So merely being on TripleClicks will bring traffic to your ECA (hint! ;) ) Then if you want to use all of the marketing tools available to create custom banners to sell products and attract members that's all the better. Definitely promote your own ECA and maximize every opportunity to share on social networks. Keep accurate records and get your own domain so that you can promote your own brand - YOU! To recap:

2. Excellent customer service - returns policy, feedback, warranty, etc.

This is a great question but really the answer is simple. Keep working at your business everyday to reach your goals and never quit. That's the key. Develop a habit of logging in and getting your VP as often as you can. Develop the habit of participating in the auctions. Develop the habit of supporting your team with weekly mail and incentives. Write smart goals and track your progress along the way to each milestone. Have a written plan of action and know how you are going to produce the results you are looking for. What are some good ways to promote SFI using the new signing bonuses?

This is an excellent question and there are several solutions inside of the marketing center.

1. Banners: Banners are advertising tools that you use to promote across the web on advertising exchanges. There are literally 1000s of free banner exchanges you can join. All you have to do is query 'free banner exchanges' and google will give you 1000s! Which is the best? It depends on how often you use the exchange and how many active members they have. Each exchange has different terms of service so when you register your account you have to work diligently to understand what's available. You can also use banners on your blogs, ezines, personal sites, and more. There are new banners featuring the sign up bonus so I'd definitely get the ball rolling with those.

2. Text ads: Text ads are mini statements that can be added to text add exchanges. Just like banner exchanges they have their own terms of service. So be sure to do your homework. Then use the text ads in the marketing center to promote SFI. Again, use text ads specifically geared toward the signing bonus. The ones available serve as a guide. Be creative and come up with an original one that says exactly what it needs to say to get your ideal prospect.

3. Car magnets: Yes, SFI provides car magnets to place on your car so that the world can see that you are an SFI independent business owner. While you are shopping locally, commuting, and yes even while your car is parked you are promoting your business! Your referral link is added and it should be in bold neat letters so that it can be seen from a distance. Anyone interested can just check out the link or they can ask you questions.

4. Social Media tools: There are graphics specifically designed as wall papers for your social media profiles. They build brand awareness and serve as conversation starters to get the conversation going about the signup bonus..

5. ECards: I love using E-cards because they are like miniture messages that sum up the moment with a picture. You know a picture is like 1000 words. Send an E-card to a friend, co-worker, family member, or your opt-in subscribers list. You can add a personal note about the signing bonus if you choose.

6. Phone Script: This can be a bit tricky because who ever called is not expecting to here a voice message promoting SFI. Perhaps you should be very brief and straight to the point. "Sorry I missed your call, leave a message and should you like to put an extra 100 bucks in your wallet let me know."

7. Flyers: Tried and true. Just make sure you have permission to put your flyers inside of stores, or public places like laundrymats or on community bulletin boards. Adapt the flyer available in the marketing center to customize your message for the sign up bonus.

8. Splash page design: SFI has you cover here as well. Just adapt the text so that your personal site conveys the information you need for the sign up bonus. Then use your web office interface to publish your new splash page! This requires you have a hosting account.

Good products to promote during the holiday and gift-giving season are the following:

1. Impulse buys. These products cost less than 50 dollars are and likely to be a gift idea for a friend or family member, ie. books, ties, women accessories, jewelry, fragrances, shoes, men accessories, and novelty items.

2. Wishlist items. These are products that would be on anyones wish list but maybe they wouldn't buy because of budgetary contraints. What do you want for Christmas? I want a new laptop or computer. A friend my want an accessory for their computer like a printer.

3. Luxury gifts. This time of year many people get a bonus from their vocation so they are looking to buy that latest gadget or gizzmo that they have always wanted. New technology falls in this category.

The key is to promote all of these types of items because everyone is looking to buy something for the gift-giving season! Let's capitalize on it - but never forget that the reason for the season is to celebrate all that we have been given and those we love.

Chances are better for your CSAs to become active when they can work with a co-sponsor that understands them. Notwithstanding, a dead horse can't be revived. Simply saying, if someone chooses not to do what is necessary to succeed in SFI changing sponsors isn't going to help either.

But, if a person is struggling to grasp the concepts of SFI because of geographic, and communication barriers then the CSA Exchange is the best thing since white bread! Why not give the CSA the best possible chance to succeed by working with a co-sponsor that understands them. This said, I do plan to put all of my inactive CSAs in the exchange. I'll phase them out of my genealogy and just maybe I'll get a CSA that can understand me and do dynamic things here at SFI.

I share tips on my youtube channel and social channels. I post pics of some of the prizes I win & sell. This is the best way to encourage participate. If someone asks for a small gift certificate I usually award it. But people really have to try it to like it. You don't get hooked by watching or learning. You have to play to win and make it fun win, lose, or draw!
