People want to see practical results. That means you will need to keep earning from SFI and then show them proofs of your earnings.
Words have impact,especially from loved ones. Therefore, you will need to consistently encourage them to keep at it and in the future, their family members will change their minds when they see profit in SFI.

When the new Affiliates who have yet to earn anything has to be truly motivated and have a strong conviction that what he/she is doing will bring an attractive income in the future even though at the beginning stage it has not much to show for his/her effort and time.
Therefore the new affiliates have to gently and humbly explain to his family and friends that he/she is not wasting his/her precious time because this is a legitimate SFI Affiliate online business which can eventually bring in actual second stream of income if he/she does not quit immediately. He/she needs to explain that any kind of business needs time and effort to grow it. The new Affiliate can invite his/her family members and friends to see what he/she is doing. When his/her family members and friends get to have a guided tour around the website and how SFI, TripleClicks, PriceBenders Auction and all other aspects, etc so that they can see for themselves that many people are participating since 14 years ago. It is not a fly-by-night setup but a great gobal online business which can grow very big when the affiliate is willing to be committed, serious and work hard and smart at it, day in & day out.

In business it is always best to SHOW your family that it works by doing well. Then they will follow. Family is almost always the toughest sell of all. Don't stress about it. Just do well and then they will follow.
When you have your family and friends that assume the work you want to do is not worth bothering with, you need to sometimes look for another alternative to win them over when they are negative, if you have already shown signs you have a team building and you have a sale list growing and how much you earn that can be a good thing that they can see your income you are making is real, when there is no starting point to convince family and friends to join your team, you some times have to take your determination of persuasion to win them over by giving them the key benefits to how it will benefit there future, if they still say no, do not take it personal, show them first by example looking for other people to join your team, and once your team starts to grow, and you have positive results you can return again to your family and friends and get them to look at how well you are doing with the people growing on your team list and the commissions being made, this will then help your family and friends reconsider joining your team. People need motivating and given a reason to want to join, when your excited over a opportunity it will get them excited to and it can help the person to feel inspired to join.

The opinion these valuable people express shows they are interested in the success of the Affiliate. They want proof that the Affiliate is engaged in something worthwhile. To be motivated, remind affiliates to focus on their goals...the goals they wrote down when they joined SFI and keep working through it daily. The Sponsor should review the Affiliate's business model: sponsoring, building the team, product sales/purchases and marketing efforts and advise the Affiliate on the better ways to earn more from the business, because everyone who enters this business really want to earn from it.

It may seem strange, but not all our family and friends wants us to succeed. As the saying goes "Misery loves company." The thing to impress on your affiliate is, How successful is this person? What do they know about business? Have they ever run a business? How successful in life are they? If you want advice on a car, would you go to a doctor? No, you would go to a mechanic. Why? Because the mechanics have experience in the field that you need help with. As the saying goes "The mechanic has been there and done that." The affiliate knows what SFI has to offer. There is lot of evidence that others are making money in SFI. You have to impress upon your affiliate that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme. This is a legitimate business. They will not be making a lot in the beginning, but as they develop and learn new skills on how to prospect and train new affiliates, their commission will increase exponentially. This will not happen overnight. They have to believe that if others have done it, so can they. Any legitimate business takes time to develop and see profits. I know, for I ran my own private investigation business and it took months before I saw a profit.
