In my opinion, any communication you send to your team members should be either informational (about SFI, of course), educational, inspirational or to acknowledge them for some achievement.

What I consider to be "too much" or "unnecessary" communication is communication that does not fit into the above categories, and information that goes into far too much detail. People can only handle small bits of information when learning, so the shorter and more to the point you

A good Team Leader maintains his close communication with his affiliates. It is through communication that relationship will start to develop. Being a Team Leader, you are leading and laying down the foundation of your relationship within your team. Your examples play an important role in forming what kind of relationship will be established within your team.

Hello Catherine and all SFI affiliates,

Really if you are being an awesome sponsor and friend to your teammates the only thing that I would consider unnecessary and too much would be trying to spam them with other offers for other programs you may or may not be involved in.

Since they are in this business to create a team of affiliates too as well as make some money then I would say any and all communication that is within SFI rules and regulations should be ok including talking

I love this question..too much or too little can occur!

Too much communication would involve contacting an affiliate on a constant basis..this will differ with different affiliates though. I have one affiliate that I communicate with daily, but that is because he has opted to communicate with me. If I send them a welcome message and then a week later I send them another personal message or some sort, related to business of course, and I get no response then I stop the personal contact

Any communication that doesn't potentially help your affiliates build their business is unnecessary. Make sure all your team newsletters contain useful information, and you are not repeating yourself every week. I think sending a newsletter to your entire team 2-4 times per month is enough.

Use your newsletters to encourage two-way communication from your affiliates. Ask questions.

Too much and unnecessary communication is any communication that does not serve a purpose to educate, exhort, or edify your network. Never send information just for the sake of sending information. Send useful tidbits that can be easily digested and followed. Typically, I use a combination of the stream and the PSA/CSA mailer to do this. With your entire team, once a day or more would probably be too much. However, some of your team members might require daily help. So you will have to adjust it based on the current situation.

Every now and then, you might find some information that is useful, so you want to let your affiliates know about it. But you may have already sent them a message yesterday, and maybe even a few this week. Consider planning your messages out if you feel that you have a lot to say.

When it comes to communicating with your team, I would stick to the guidelines offered in SFI's training. I would definitely use the downline mailer once a week to offer tips or encouragement, or share some of your own successes for motivation.

Limit "extra" communication to messages of congratulations for affiliates who are achieving, or who have won contests. Absolutely have open and frequent communication with an active affiliate who is asking for help. If you want to promote

Good question.

Some would say that there's never too much information, but I beg to differ.

If you're constantly bombarding your team members with information they may
become displacement and give up. Why? Because they need time to read and
duplicate what you send them. This is why SFI is set up with guidelines to help
you limit your communications to no more than 3 days between stream posts and
a week between newsletters other than your welcome e-mails

In the early stages of an affiliate signing up you do not want him to be too confused.
The new affiliate has the Start-Up , which eventually sends him to the Affiliate Center. Additionally, he has the SFI Basics, then the Launchpad. All of this should be introduced gradually to the affiliate.

Too much information too suddenly can lead to information overload and may even cause him to discontinue as he feels swamped. This stress is induced by receiving more information
