This question can be answered in one single word Honesty. That has to be from the first moment that you send a personal warm greeting to your new affiliates letting them know upfront what their potentials for success will be but also warn them up front that they will not get rich quickly. The truth may disappoint them at first but they will come to know your honesty that they will trust you. If you are like the boy who cries wolf at first they will believe you but then after knowing that you lie

Real trust is never demanded, it is freely given by the person who trust. It is the same here at SFI. We Team Leaders must develop trust by the way we lead.

Here are things that I do to develop trust from my affiliates.

1. I am working hard to earn a rank - Our rank will immediately command trust.

2. I am working to earn as many badges as I could. Presently, I have 20 badges. Badges under our name will immediately command trust from our affiliates that

To accomplish these tasks , the leader must be, the followings:

1. The leader must be caring about the progress of his/her affiliates, unselfish and not over bearing. He/she must be genuinely interested in the progress of the affiliates. Someone had said, ‘People do not care how much you KNOW until they know how much you CARE about their welfares.’
2. The Leader must be ahead of the affiliates even if not more than an inch to inspire followership. You must know the way

Thank you for this very important and relevant question.

Trust is something we have to earn, not only in SFI but in other parts of our life.

As a Team Leader, we have to be a learner first.

We have to learn how to lead by reading motivational, inspirational and other self-help books to widen our understanding and horizon.

Then we impart these knowledge to our affiliates, so that they will also learn what we have learnt, thus empowering them.

We

If you want to define a powerful leadership rules, here’s where to start:

• Be yourself. When you write your leadership rules, spare your team the corporate-speak and tell your personal story instead.
• Give in to emotion. Articulate your philosophy as a set of reminders of stories that have deep emotional meaning for you.

• Lead yourself. You have to know where you want to go in life and define your personal code of conduct before you can lead others.

• Lead

Great question!

One of the most important tasks of being an effective leader is building trust amongst you team.

A lack of trust will allow fear to become a primary motivationing factor. Your team will fear your opinions. Many will fear your decisions and recommendations. Worst of all, they will fear failure and they will likely fear you.

Fear will ultimately cripple your team.

Trust is trait that must be earned. It is something we are all told to give

The nature of business in SFI Affiliates is networking. Networking involves people. You need to start communicating and have interest on other people if you want to develop trust with your teammates.

Trust and truth go hand in hand (and it is not just because they start in the same first three letters). Someone cannot trust you and whatever it is you represent if you do not tell them the truth.

Tell them the truth about SFI. Do not exaggerate your nor downplay your success. This entails you communicate with them, let them learn from your experience.

For example, do not tell your affiliates, "you could win in the Pricebenders with as little as $2."

I believe that developing trust among your affiliates is something that takes time. Any relationship needs nurturing. You can't expect your down line to fully trust you and follow your lead if you aren't setting the appropriate example. The best way to show them that you are there for them is to get in the trenches with them, help them out and show them what needs to be done to be successful. If you see someone falling by the wayside, offer your help. But remember, some people like to find their
