Hello Anna,

In my opinion, I think that it is important to prepare your affiliates in the first month on what to expect in the second month.

What I mean is, in the first month you get your affiliates to get familiar with signing in daily, get them used to their Home Page and all of the To-Do list.

To begin to treat SFI as their Business and a Real Business.

You have them go through the Getting-Started video, the Basics and the Launch Pad Lessons.

I believe you prepare your affiliates for the second month from day one in SFI by doing the following:

1. Get to understand each affiliate personally through the various channels that we have. By doing so, you will be able to "classify" each affiliate by their capability, commitment, exposure to the internet, marketing background, potential financial expinditure for the business, enthusiasm etc. You can have as many groupings as you find fit according to your criteria in this

Many affiliates who survive the shock of having to work in order to receive pay will not have the second month barrier if they have the right sponsors.

If the Sponsor has advised them correctly in the first month, they will know why it is necessary for all affiliates to start over from zero each month. I like to analyze the SFI report at the Genealogy page. I like to write personal letter to know whether they really mean what they said was their goal or need.

I think this question should read: "How do you prepare your affiliates for his/her first month in the business where he/she doesn't have the mega free VP to get him/her to EA quickly?"

I say this because SFI offers affiliates the opportunity to match their first month's points in their second month. So if an affiliate is able to fast track and get most of the point generating items done in the first month, his/her second month starts out that far ahead.

The 2nd month in SFI is the defining stage for new affiliate: whether to continue or stop. After they learnt the basics, read all the 30-day Launchpad, they are challenged - "What's next?" There are "Rules to Success" as blueprint, marketing tools to use and training that equip them, because above earning VPs they need to find affiliates to build their own TEAM.

It is important that on the 1st month the new affiliate is made to understand that SFI is no “quick-rich”

Hello Dear,

Its really a good question to ask.

Actually, promoting a new affiliate to our business is not so difficult job, but yes, maintaining them to continue building their business on SFI is really really tough job for each of us.

What we can do is to let them know what actually SFI business is. Many of our affiliates turn to SFI because they thing its where they can earn money without spending money and time. So we should tell them that consider its your own

The second month in SFI, if not before, should involve heavier marketing and sponsoring activities.
It is your job, as Sponsor, to help them prepare themselves.
Any successful business requires the knowledge and tools to succeed.
SFI provides all they will need to get started and more.
In the first month, your communication with your new Affiliates should include encouragement to learn all they can, from the SFI materials.

Spend your greatest time with the active affiliates.

Start with your welcome letter. Advise them to earn enough points to become an EA, and to read some of the additional information, but then reread it in their second month to get the points. This has a two fold value. They get the information in their first month to allow them a better understanding of the program, and then they get the VP in the second month after reviewing and refreshing their information the second month.

An important question, but easily answered!

Preparing your affiliates for their second month in business, is to first determine what they have learned in their first month. How you do that is to simply ask them. For instance, you could suggest that they email you explaining their feelings on how they feel about the SFI Program to that point. Include questions like:

This is very good & important question indeed. If you can make sure that your SFI Affiliate continues in the second month, then you can safely assume that you have won half the battle. How to prepare him for the second month includes the following action.

1. As soon as he joins send him/her a welcome letter and make sure he gets connected to you through email or phones.

2. Once the connection has been set, you start guiding him/her even without them asking you for help.
