I've used Skype and Facebook video chat to help affiliates with training.

I think it's a very beneficial method to help affiliates and to build business relationships with your team. It lets new affiliates know you are a *real* person making *real* money. It also lets them know you are there to help them.

Interesting question:

Conference calls are "old hat" when applied to SFIMG.

The reason is that SFI members are all over the entire world and often are not skilled in using the English language. They have different time schedules for work and sleep.

No, I don't use conference calling yet to help my affiliates but I am seriously considering to start using this form of communication.

I personally use and recommend SKYPE. It is free, easy to use and very handy (could be used on mobile phones).

Yes, I had used to communicate and the communication media is telephone.

Many of people signup daily and they used to take all VP at the same date. Many of my PSAs, I had trained. Those who I had trained, they all had got FAST TRACK Badge and they used to take VP step by step so that they can understand what the actual SFI is about. Personally, I use a platform on MTN which is one of the major GSM services provider in my locality. Once I have two or more members of my downline, whom I have a close relationship with and there personal mobile numbers; I use this service on the telephone network to communicate real-time with my downline for minimal charge from the service provider.

I did use and I will do it again. I use video platform to record short video messages and send them to my team. I also used twice a training for SFI basics, but unforttnately my team members didn't show up, but I send them the recorded message. I use paid platform - Talk Fusion and it's beneficial to me, because it's video communication tool with high quality and there are no limits for guest in this virtual hall. People can see you like you're before them and the communication is like face to face.

Conference Calling can be a most effective way to keep in contact with all team members and new affiliates.
Just set up your own conference line and have a meeting at least once a week with your team.

The best way to use a conference calling is Skype

But of course there are many other ways.....GMail,Anymeeting,FreeConferenceCall,Free Conference Pro,Rondee,Apache OpenMeetings

Well, this is a goog question. But … I have a shortly answer.

Normally I don´t use any type of conference to help my affiliates!

Simply, I just use the personal Mail, CSA Mailer, PSA Mailer, and some days I send a message to all my affiliates from genealogy. I think that maybe the conference make some affiliates don´t feel free to ask, or to say something. And for this, I prefer to send personal mails to my movers. Also I send Weekly messages to all

Yes, I do telephone consultations. Did one yesterday as a matter of fact. The affiliate was very eager to learn and I was very eager to teach and this is what I recommend. One on one communication by any means necessary. Always work with the workers and those who are trying! ;)

In the future, I will be doing webinars, seminars, skype, video conferencing via Google hangouts (cool ;) ) and live regional conferences. I look forward to working with YOU via one of these venues.

The video conference, in my opinion, is not a good way to recruit, while for training you could use Skype.
But I want you to bear in mind that when you have CSA in the downline, they may not speak your language or have difficulty in links.
So it is important for the formation also have attachments to be sent with your contact email and maybe affiliated with continuity, to know if they have problems and, anyway, urge them to contact you if they have any concerns or questions.
